What Is A Ghost Clan ?

I am a new player and I looked under clans and it listed me as part of a 'ghost clan' .... i never joined any clans but I do have a application pending with one. I did search for ghost clan and got the phone book but no specific answer to my question , was hoping someone could answer my question.

Ghost clan is a clan that has 10 or fewer players. It's just a category.

okay gotcha thx for the quick reply do all new players start out by having ghost clan under their clan tab, because i am positive i never accepted a invitation from any clans yet ?

For some reason pending invites kind of count you as in a clan, without you being in that clan.
