The number one thing that gets on my nerves on these forums is the text boxes for posting.

 

When I quote a person, their quote shows up, like it is in the thread view, which is annoying because you can't copy the whole quote so you can break it down into smaller quotes, which makes replying to large posts a pain sometimes if you wish to reply to select parts of the post. When I do this, I also like to include the name of the person I'm quoting, which I can't seem to get the ['quote=name'] ['/quote'] to work, it leaves out the name, and I can't go back and edit the name because of the quotes in edit forum are the same as the final form. 

 

Also copying and pasting text from anywhere in the forums also copies the background/font coloring, which can be annoying when you're trying to copy white on black text into a white text box with black font, only to get white font and/or the black background. Is there away so when I post/quote/edit I view just the text based BB coding, not the dynamic text editor like what's in place now.

Named quotes follow the pattern
