it would be cool if the lvl went all the way up to like 60 i see some missions for like 40-50 even sometimes 60 if its alert makes soloing way difficult just an honest opinion if its possible to add it'd be cool.. overall its an awesome game ^^

Technically, you can level to 60 if you use a potato (Double mod points, basically 60) plus, a forma forces you to re-level your character with increased strength, so you're essentially a pseudo 30+.

 

At the end of the day, 30 is just right, otherwise leveling up additional frames to max would be a nightmare.

However, it would be useful to have some kind of reference of our current power versus the level of enemies. I'm not saying to implement a level-based progression of power but rather a simple calculation based on your current loading (a rating, if you will) that would show your current "level" in comparison to the enemies'.

 

Sure, you can play it by ear and compensate with 'player experience' by using low rank gear, but the reference would still be useful nonetheless. Could be based off the amount of Mod Points currently used by your frame and equipped weapons.

Those numbers are actually telling you what level the enemies will generally be, not the level requirement or suggestion for the player.

 

The reason it doesn't make sense as a suggestion for the player is because you have various levels. You have the warframe, sentinel (with weapon), and 3 different weapons. It can't be telling you what level you need to be.

 

Since it's for the enemies, it's just there to tell you what sort of challenge you might face. You should know after playing the game for a bit if you can handle level 40 guys. Note that their level is not == to your level. If you  have all maxed level 30 stuff, you're going to be outputting way  more damage than one of their level 30 guys, even heavy units. The point is to tell you the enemy level, and based on your own experience, understand if you might be able to handle that. The levels don't need to match at all.

Sure, but as a reference, it still could be useful to know your potential power based on the amount of Mod Points used in your loadout. Especially with returning loadout sets which would help quickly identify the potential of your saved loadouts.

 

For example, a loadout with a 28/30 Frame, 56/60 Primary, 27/30 Secondary and 29/30 Melee weapon would give you a potential rating of 140 (willingly omitting the Sentinel as it could have it's own PR and would usually be swapped independantly of the loadout). I think I'll start a thread on that in the UI Feedback.
