I bet you are all thinking

this event would be about the gineer some how breaking the space time continum and baddies from the past are coming out of portals and are now cuasing havoc

event apper's?

any planet on any level

objective: you must destroy a paradox portal from the inside ,once inside the portal you must find a paradox gem and you must destroy it

new baddies?: no just the past version of the baddies (like the heavy gunners back when they were men and rollers when they were smaller and are called grinders)

to enter the paradox:in any level you are in ,a light purple portal will open at random and you can choose to enter or not. inside the portal is known as the paradox wich is a bunch of floating island's with rock bridges and the past baddies roaming about, each paradox portal destroyed will give each player 4 points (solo and co-op freindly so shut yo lips)

type and precentages of portals? (thanks to alighierian) (lol shout outs XD)

normal: 55%

boss: 30%

giant: 15%

prizes of this event

10 points you get a mod called bloodlust in which each hit of hp gives you a damage buff

20 points you get a new sentinal tophat for ye sentinal

at 30 points you get a cape for your warframe

at 50 points you get the vandal colors to color your things in a vandal look (yay :D)

and finnaly at 200 points you get THE PARADOX SWORD (https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/94644-the-paradox-sword/)

this event would be like the twilight zone almost

- what's the chance for them to appear? are they always there but just in random points in a level or is it random on which level?

(because if it's random on which map they show up next, getting 500 points will be a *****)

- gj on the tiering of rewards, although I personally would put either something between 200 and 500 or make 500 lower

- what's the amount of portals you need to destroy?

- option to have a 'boss' portal which gives extra points (but only has a 30% chance or so of showing up in a level)?

- would the vandal be on the same level as the paris prime, better or a different kind of specialization? (so it's the same, but different kind of same)

- will you see the 'past tenno' as diorama decoration in the paradox portal?

- will the mobs themselves have a greater XP reward than regular mobs + slightly higher chance to drop rare mods / fusion cores

(so it has incensitive to kill more instead of rushing)?

- will you be able to get back into the mission you started in, or does it just give the extraction inside the paradox portal?

(I think you should just get ported back to where you entered when you destroy the gem and leave the paradox portal)

- maybe make it so that next to the 'normal' and 'boss' portals you have a 'giant' portal as well, with 3 to 5 paradox gems

(point reward: if 1 gem would give 1 point/player in the party (so 4 max) this would give 12 to 20 points and boss ones give 10)

and with that 'giant' portal the 500 can stay, since you have a chance to get it even if you have less time.

boss ones would give 10 points, whether you'd run solo or not (because the 'boss' acts as the gem and has added difficulty)

chances of portals could be:

normal: 55%

boss: 30%

giant: 15%

Lotus obviously shouldn't spoil it saying what kind of portal it is beforehand, just generic intro: "This is one of the Paradox portals. Find out if a Paradox Gem or a Paradox Monster is keeping this portal open and remove the threat."

upon destroying the first gem and it turns out to be a giant, Lotus could go like: "Well it looks like this is a giant paradox. Destroy the remaining Paradox Gems."

It should give that feeling when a party goes like: "oh, portal, hope it's a giant -some time later- YUSH! giant portal!"

bonus(?): upon destroying the gem it has a chance to drop a Paradox Gem Shard:

'This piece of mysterious Paradox Gem didn't disintegrate when the main Paradox Gem was destroyed. For some unknown reason it has potent fusion capabilities.' - In-game description

it would basically act as a rare 5 fusion core. just an extra bonus but it would only have 15% chance or so of dropping.

Loving the sound of capes and the idea that you get a special hat for your sentinel because the only way you can get accessories for your sentinel is with platinum and vandal look sounds awesome as well! Well thought out haha ;)

Doh, not this time s♥♥t again.

You know, if they would be using the time machine, you wouldn't be able to correct anything. Because, as soon they'll do something in the past, future will be permanently changed up to your nonexistence.

good point 0_0

but then again it would lead into the paradox world where it is like the twilight zone

of sight and sound

There would be no paradox at all. Every "wrong" dimension is "right and the only" when it comes to time machine. "Super-puper temporal lapse" is just a cheesy crutch which is overused due to lack of imagination and inability to bring some sense in the system.

Twilight zone? Where did you take that? Throw it away.
