Steam overlay

I didn't know where to post it, so here it goes :

Is it possible to get the steam overlay in game atm ? If I add the launcher to steam, the is no overlay. If I add the .exe and launch it with steam after updating, it just crashes.

Curious. I've been running Warframe through Steam and my overlay works fine. I can't take screenshots, but I don't know if that's normal for non-Steam games. How did you add Warframe to Steam? I went to my Library, clicked on the Games tab, clicked "Add a Non-Steam game to my library" and added it from the list that creates. If you did the same thing, I have no idea what might be the problem.

Well, that may be because I'm playing on Dx11 (I got crappy perf on Dx9 where I get easily 60 fps on Dx11). Or that may be my GC (GT 540M), in some game like payday or operation raccoon city I can't have the overlay (known bug with the 500M series)...

Well the Overlay and Screenshot features shouldn't be able to be used through WARFRAME at all since the Launcher doesn't load the hook of the Steamapi.dll.

So however you two are doing it, it shouldn't be happening at all.

in many games it does thru add non steam games to library and usually it adds the steam overlay

Add the exe, not the launcher. Run the launcher periodically for updates, then close back out and back into Warframe through Steam.

As I said, adding the exe just makes it crash on launch.
