Persistent Launcher audio Mute option?

Request: Give me a "mute" setting for the launcher. Please. 

Use case: 
Ok, to preface this, I am aware that users should be able to do this from the windows audio mixer. 

However, I use a noise cancelling bluetooth headset and every time I need to pair it to the PC again, it is treated as a different device by windows. 

The result of this is that taking my bluetooth headset with me to work and repairing it to my home PC later resets the "mute" and volume settings for the launcher. 

Every day. 

While I agree that the OS should be handling this, the fact of the matter is that anyone with a docking station and a laptop, USB DAC, or bluetooth audio is getting blasted by the launcher every time they have to reconnect their audio devices. 
Additionally, there is no option to set the audio level or mute a program before you open it. 

I should NOT have to remember to mute my default sound device every time I want to open the game.
