kaioshade
So, like many others, I have been experiencing severe performance loss after the newest patch. Changing some settings, rebooting, etc all worked for a little while, but of course the issue would come back. I noticed when the fps drops started happening, my fans on my GTX 1070ti would slow down, like Warframe is not seeing the GPU at all. I have no idea if this is a result if Windows 10 1803, the update, or some combination of both. Here is what i did to fix it. In the Nvidia Control Panel, under "Manage 3D Settings" there is an option to set the power management mode. I set this to Maximum Power. In addition, there is an option in the Windows Settings. Under Display, At the bottom, there is an option for "Graphics Settings". In there, you will have a dropdown for "Classic app" and "Universal app" Select Classic app and then browse and add each warframe exe. (Prob dont need to add both, but it doesnt hurt). After adding each one, select it and select options, then change the Preference to High Performance. Once i did those two things, i was able to play for hours last night without any performance loss. I played Survival, Onslaught, void, Grineer, nfested maps, all worked perfectly at my native 120 fps. Hopefully this helps anyone else having these issues. Your mileage may vary, but i would be interested to hear if this helped anyone else.
