Tastyburger
i second that i believe trading would not be a bad idea i mean being able to give your friends mods that you dont even need is cool but my concern is what about scammers? what about people who will attempt to scam "noobs?" Tangerine
In all respect, there isn't much to trade or auction at this moment in time. Not to mention credit is much too easy to acquire. Sell the mods you don't need and you'll have enough for all you'll ever want, which brings in mind the question "Why would anyone even bother to auction or trade?" kiwicanfly
no auction, but trading with friends with some restrictions on it is ok.
Zeneroth
Trading should not involve credits imo. Trading mod for mod is fine but anything that create some kind of economy will force the dev to balance the game that way. What if you can get the mods you want easier and faster from trading? Will the starting level should get harder as well to compensate the stronger the players can get from trading. What if new players cannot trade or dont want to trade? They will obviously be weaker than other and cannot progress thru the same content? These are the issues occured in D3. Devs account the auction/trading into the game balance and in turn force every players to use it in order to be able to progress thru the game. Flaming.Flowair
I think trading should be restricted to the end-of-mission screen and involve mods, blueprints and artefacts only. Being able to trade warframes and weapons (or blueprints) globally would remove the need of acquiring blueprints. +1 ! I don't know about trading, 90% of the motivation behind play end game involves mod farming...If you take that away, you will lose a lot of players who can suddenly buy end game progression in a second and no longer have a reason to revisit content more than once. As far as auctioning is concerned...Realistically, what is the value of a mod? As an end game player what insentive do you have to sell mods when the game has no proper gold sinks? It makes the idea kind of silly. Trade generally introduces bugs like duping and other exploits as well. You also have to consider abuse and the idea of a money market where people are now enabled to trade items for real money. This brings a lot more problems with it than it is worth, unless DE adds support for this and takes a cut...We all know how that ended for Diablo 3. If they did it, it would have to be a player to player trade system with heavy restrictions on what you can trade. +1 Maybe mod for mod and even that will cause problems! I don't agree with this restriction proposition suggestion, neither to the problems you thinks, please take a look at this post : https://forums.warfr...et/#entry103452 Edited February 23, 2013 by Flaming.Flowair
