Tyl Regor: Melee Only Bug?

I submitted a bug report to Support on this, but I'd love if other players tested this with other variables.

 

Content of the bug report follows:

 

My partner and I tested extensively, but did not go through all possible iterations. The short version is, we were both Valkyr melee only using Prisma Cleavers and one shot Tyl four times in a row. This would be great if it wasn't for the fact that it broke the mission. We were told to extract but the door to the exit was locked.

This was a two-person team. When we tried with three people, the bug did not occur. With four, it did not occur but we felt we skipped a phase (Tyl didn't say "It's hammer time!").

We were able to replicate the bug. We stared (first finding the bug) by going melee only into the mission, 1-shotting the boss three times, going into a team and unable to replicate, then going back to a 2-person team and 1-shotting the boss.
