9.8 Ember Changes

Question

This thread is to let players know the exact changes of Ember's skills. This is not a review or complaint thread. I'm sure some other players have noted the changes and have posted them somewhere.

Overall they just basically changed the numbers around although there are a few other changes. All values are for rank 3 (max) mods. I have not tested durations or range.

Changes:

Fireball: Fixed the dot attaching to the target. Increased the damage and dot damage per sec.

Overheat: Fire skin is now an offensive power rather than a defensive power. Reduced damage reduction and upped the damage output. Warframe strength mods now modify the damage.

Fire Blast: Fixed scaling problem, mesh scaled but the damage wall never did. Range mods no longer affect Fire blast; duration and strength mods do.

Old Fireball:

225 DMG, 35 DoT DMG.

New Fireball:

200* DMG, 200 DoT DMG.

DoT is not affected by focus.

Old Overheat:

70% reduction, 100 AI DoT DMG.

New Overheat:

40% reduction, 200 AI DoT DMG.

Will no longer protect from disruption.

Old Fireblast:

150 DMG, 100 AI DoT DMG.

New Fireblast:

150* DMG, 150 AI DoT DMG.

WoF:

No changes.

*Estimate of actual values.

I don't understand how you can make a frame to counter a specific faction, then give it no protection against said faction.

ALL HAIL RHINO!

I kill all ancients just fine with Overheat and WoF, almost as easy as normal infested. Before they can disrupt and take my energy and shields anyways.
