Saryn Abilities Names

Venom: SARYN tags the target with a highly toxic spore that does poison damage over time. Destroying the spore will trigger a viral infection to nearby enemies.

Contagion: SARYN channels high levels of toxicity into her melee weapon, transmitting disease and plague with each strike that connects with targets.

The contagious, DoT ability that spreads from enemy to enemy is called "Venom", and the melee buff is called "Contagion"? Shouldn't that be the other way around? "Contagion" seems like a better name for Saryn's first ability, and "Venom" seems better for her third. After all, you can even apply poison with your fangs, if you use Fang and Contagion, so...

The naming on those two abilities just always seemed backwards to me. What's the community's opinion of that? Does it make sense for a spreading AOE attack to be called Venom and a melee buff to be called Contagion?

A contagious disease is a subset category of infectious diseases (or communicable diseases), which are easily transmitted by physical contact (hence the name-origin) with the person suffering the disease, or by their secretions or objects touched by them.

Venom is the general term referring to any variety of toxins used by certain types of animals (spores, in case of saryn) that inject it into their victims by the means of a bite, sting or other sharp body feature.
