Weapon Type / Elemental / Move / Warframe Abilities Missions

Now in warframe with have the possibility to equip just one or 2 weapons. So why there aren't only mele missions ?

 

This question have been introduced a lot of a time with the request about stealth gameplay. Why the DE don't do special missions with new objectives and some lore ?

 

Currently the high-level content and the diversity of missions is not exceptional, and a simple way to diversify it could be something like an only mele weapon mission, with secrets data to hack without being spotted ( to add some challenge there could be a restriction of the invisibility's duration ). In the same vein, only sniper + mele mission could be add (restriction of type of mele weapon like only dagger and dual dagger could be add too ) with strong enemies who are enough powerful and threatening to force players at executing or killing him immediately by a stealth way.

 

But i don't want to restrict it to stealth gameplay only. We could expand it with many options, like only pistol missions, or a huge damage reduction at high and medium range, forcing the use of shotguns or taking many risks with high range weapons.

 

By move mission i want to mean a type of map and leveling who force the player to execute wall run, sliding or  sapce ninja moves (as he supposed to be) .

An example could be a mission with many traps which don't trigger with a certain speed, allowed to pass them in sliding only with enemies post side to side and not affected by traps, with phases without ground obligating palyers to wall run and shoot during wall running, or ended up with an mele attack, with flying enemies as an grineer helion or corpus jet-pack crewman and ospreys.

 

Some eximus are immuned to a type of damage, so why don't apply this immunity to a whole mission ?

For example, in the new ice levels on Europa, enemies could be only affected by fire and blast damage (procs will follow the sames rules).

Other example, a mission on a space ship with corpus only damaging by electric and magnetize could have an overload's level which increasing by using electricity. Then the security of the ship will be compromised and players will finish the mission with an Archwing tresh run.

 

For warframe's skill missions, there is different way to consider it :

- Allowed just one category of abilities (psychic bolt on nyx, shurinken on ash, freeze on frost, the first power in general or only ultimate)

- Objectives and lore missions, who's impose special abilities, as a capture and escort mission of an elite enemy, controlled by Nyx's mind control, or as a assassination of some heavy armored target who's only threat the Ash's Shuriken.

 

If you have read the whole text you will appreciate that with a little bit of lore or context and diverse objectives, add with a special restriction, a cool a different type of mission could be make and enjoy.
