[Video] Rage Quit Build 9

Assorted bug noted since last night.

 

 

First off, I'm posting this in the bug section and not general discussion because I'm not going for forum-drama-queen status, but I am done with the game until update 10.  The missions are unstable, difficulty is through the roof for solo play, and alerts are not solo-able half the time leading you to go on-line with stupid matchmaking picking the host with the worst ping in the universe.

 

Now, I'd walk you though the video clips above with all the various bugs, but I highlighted the important ones with captions (yay, I've found out how to caption videos... :p )

 

The fun part is going back through the video a couple of times and noting all the various bugs that are subtle enough not to jump out at you on the first pass.

 

Maybe this can be the new meta for warframe, record 10 minutes of gameplay and then play spot-the-bug on youtube.

 

Edit : Note that all the above gameplay was recorded over the last 12 hours.

I noticed about 5 instances of wonky AI, physics and assorted other BS on the second playthrough... see how many you can find and post below :)

 

Edit 2 : Even my 7 year-old wants to know why the hostage has a gun... the hostage never shoots it, and who locked her in the cell with a weapon?

Dedicated servers cost money bro.  Warframe is a cash cow, if it takes wings, they might come up with dedicated servers for at least alerts, but otherwise it's going to be high-speed/low-drag design.

 

I don't blame DE, but it would be nice if they would just work out the MM to take into consideration the host being the lowest overall ping to the party.  (I wonder if I was just logged into 3 players from Australia and they were all wondering why I was lagging around the map swinging at nothing lol)

oh you poor thing, armor isn't supposed to effect shields but for some reason it does, meaning that a Loki takes more damage from anything than a Rhino or Frost shields or not.

I'm pretty sure that DE didn't balance stuff around that though, but regardless, I'm not having that much difficulty staying alive from "normal" things, but heavies tend to OHK me quite a bit. 

 

Anything with knockdown is a death sentence, but again, My beef isn't with the difficulty (though I could do a thread on that) it's more to do with the bugs... getting auto-loss on a defense mission for no apparent reason is enough to cause serious rage issues.
