  1. Remove restrictions of friends, and increase the standing you get for doing a 60 minute survival mission. 5K is a terrible amount for doing it.

Perhaps reduce time, I've seen alot of people running into issues where someone has to go 40 minutes into the survival.

  2. I don't mind Nightwave, It gives me a reason to actually play some mission types I wouldn't otherwise play normally and do things I would usually pass on doing in favour of doing other things (looking at you simaris scans, never did those unless I specifically ran into a target)

I've almost completed the entire weeks Nightwave tasks in a few hours or less, i'm a big fan of not having the next rank be even more than the previous.

I miss alerts, i'll admit, but not many people did the 300 plastid alerts unless you were specifically bored and looking for things to do, and the newer system allows me to essentially not miss out on Reactors / Catalysts and whatnot, the only alerts i'd really consider doing outside of boredom.

Also I want to correct you the 2 dailies were there since launch and I believe unless you can stack them like you can in other games that is a false statement saying 1 was yesterday and 1 was today. Until I can be sure when they are supposed to reset both for the daily and weekly reset I will not speculate further though.

You are correct, the two daily tasks were there since launch, atleast I certainly think so.

It's certainly a better way to get those resources that were previously gated behind these alerts (that could pop at 4am when we were asleep.),

I can only suggest one change, The chance to give a small amount of Wolf Creds (Or whatever creds follow in it's wake after this season is over) whenever we capture those unique enemies that show up in a mission (name has escaped me), that way we can still consistantly get a small dribble of these credits.

There is 1 daily. The one that rewards 1k standing. Rest are weekly. After you do the weekly and dailies, you're pretty much out of luck and just waiting for the next cycle. Also quick maths have been done and basically if you miss just a few weeklies you are kinda boned from getting the max tier.

Really? that seems like alot of grinding for players who don't have the time to do so.

I heard elsewhere that you only need about 65% of all done in a season to get max, not sure if that's true or not.

  5. I just ran circles around him and shot him in the head with Arca Plasmor.

Honestly, getting some Mr. X from Resident Evil vibes by seeing him, big guy trying to kill me.

For those who are interested, I was running a void capture mission when he first appeared for me - perhaps he spawns in missions related to the challenges you are doing, For example: If you are running capture missions and have a challenge to complete 3 capture missions, he has a chance to spawn.

  6. I'd support an idea to opt out of being a host. I used to have terrible internet speeds and i'd have to back out of a search and repeat the search sometimes 20+ times in order to find a squad. whenever I did get host migrated and chosen as a host everyone either lagged out and couldn't rejoin OR complained about 700ping lagspikes all the time.

  7. I wouldn't be opposed to an event SIMILAR to Plague star in the Orb Vallis, there's alot of Orokin Tech, what if the Corpus accidentally activate an Orokin security device, much like in the Void Towers, we could introduce new Corrupted enemies and perhaps a new boss to fight there.

Just wondering of toroids only spawn in caves during bounties (like when you have to locate caches)? Because I've done a lot of mining and have yet to find any while playing solo.

They are rare but i've seen a few in caves while mining.

  9. I still get these random drops with Fortuna and Orb Vallis and have done since the release day. no where else. just here.

That and loading back into Fortuna can sometimes cause the game to crash / not respond.

Not sure what causes this, i'm not sure what settings are causing this, Processor and Graphics Card can handle newer games perfectly fine and it only ever seems to happen in the Orb Vallis / Fortuna and no where else...

    Stuttering kills Fortuna for me.

  10. Hey,

I noticed that entering and leaving Orb Vallis gives me huge performance drops that continue after leaving.

For example, beforehand I could run a tileset perfectly fine with no performance drops, however upon entering Orb Vallis and leaving and going to a tileset, i'm noticing extreme performance drops whenever an enemy or myself shoots or casts an ability at any time, sometimes resulting in a freeze that lasts for several seconds but only affects me, Enemies are free to kill me in this time.

I'm not sure what's causing this or if this is on DE's radar at all, i'm positive it's not a hardware issue of mine, Orb Vallis always seems to give me these huge drops, but many other tilesets are fine, many other games are fine and can be run on High/Ultra settings too. Anyone else noticed this at all?

During the entire mission the frames are saying a consistant 60, but the freezes and stutters still continue.

    Specs :

    Nvidia GTX970

    AMDFX8350 Processor

    8GB RAM.

    yea it is on 16x

That could be causing the issues, maybe try disabling it for now until it's patched, might see some performance increase.

  12. I agree, i've had so many issues with this update lately, it's been bugging out like you've mentioned too, overlays not working, MASSIVE frame drops and stutters that really shouldn't be happening as far as my specs are concerned.

During missions and bounties i've actually died due to a random frame drop or stutter than renders me unable to actually move and that REALLY throws off how well you can even fight.

I've had to end task Warframe almost every. single. time. after this update has dropped, it will black screen at times and not respond if it's eating too much.

I rarely say this but since this update dropped it feels like the game has suffered drastically in performance, not just in Fortuna but all across the board at times.

  13. I have the same issues, I'll be going along and boom, huge drop and freeze and then it'll pick back up, then a little bit later it'll do the same.

Also HUGE drops going into Fortuna and leaving, both also result in huge load times and an occasional black screen.

  14. I've been excited ever since Arbitrations were a concept, Elite alerts that have higher level enemies from the start and scale up and test your abilities. Unfortunately I don't think this is the case currently.

Enemy levels are fine and the rate they increase is also fine. I like the mission diversity but it has a few issues that could be adressed:

Rotations - Why did they have to be 10 minutes? this isn't a 'challenge' it's just plain annoying personally, You spend 10 minutes for a rotation to only get...endo. or a sculpture you have thousands of at this point with a rare chance for one of the new mods, it's an easy fix, IF the drop tables are going to be 80% endo then revert it back to 5 minute rotations, I don't get the reasoning behind this at all.

One life - This isn't much of a challenge, it just kills the enjoyment of the game, certain frames are a no go in arbitrations, infact, most of them are a no go, Ember 300% power strength? sounds decent but considering how high level enemies are, you'd end up one shotted without running a tanky build of anything which completely destroys this mission. I've seen many Gara's and Trinity's around running full tank builds due to this which REALLY kills diversity, if you run anything else you are likely to get one shotted by the nullifier that is protected by a drone making them invincible while the drone hides behind WAVES of enemies, simple fix, revert it back to revives like the standard missions, one life was never anything any veterans of the game complained about, we never mentioned 'We only need one life to make this a challenge', because it feels REALLY cheap to be bullet jumping to the next excavator and end up one shotted by a bombard. or nullifier.

The Drone - Oh boy the drone, it's small, fast, annoying to hit, immune to abilities, everything you'd really hate about the nullifier except it ADDS it to every enemy in it's radius, why was this a thing? when we mean challenge we mean a challenge, not an enemy that makes everything invincible until it's killed that ends up hiding behind 20 or so grineer in a tunnel, simple fix, increase the drone size if it HAS to stay. if not then just outright remove it. it's a fun killer. a major one.

Rewards - The rewards are bad, let's be honest, unless you LOVE endo you'll likely never touch this gamemode again after farming the mods it offers. there's nothing to keep you coming back and the challenge it offers isn't much of a challenge but more of a chore of one shot enemies, invincible enemies, double rotation times and a meta that involves nothing but tanking and survivability over anything else. the rewards need to be changed badly if the game mode is to survive, even with endo there are better endo farms out there that don't put invincible enemies and one life in your face.

These are my thoughts on the gamemode overall, initially I was excited but that faded very quickly with how incredibly boring these runs get with the time between rotations and rewards, enemy damage scaling is also a culprit, this needs to be adressed across the board, I don't mind enemies doing more damage at a higher level, I just hate the fact that you can be one shotted by a grineer that is running the opposite direction instantly at times, one shots are bad.

    Your opinions may vary.

  15. Isn't the point of onslaught meant to be to kill things as QUICKLY as possible? Saryn is pretty damn meta on ESO.

Saryn allows you to kill things fast, that's the point, infact you'll run into things like that incredibly often in onslaught especially, you'll run into double or even triple Saryns at times, Mesa, Equinox, anything that allows mass killing as quickly and efficiently as possible.

You can always open up a squad and get people together who don't want to use that, going into public lobbies always has the risk of getting matched with those teammates.

But let's nerf a frame because:

"I'M A PAYING CUSTOMER AND I DEMAND THAT PEOPLE USE WHAT I WANT AND CAN'T USE THINGS THEY WANT TO USE IN THIS GAME".

Go and play solo or start your own squad if you're having that much of a problem with Saryn.

  16. To be honest if they keep the 'No revives' condition the Elite Alerts will likely have their own 'Meta' so to say, we're talking huge tanks that take next to no damage, Valkyrs, it'd be interesting, but could still potentially be cheesed through.

I don't think the 'No revives' condition are necessary, what we need are conditions that challenge and truly push players, no revives aren't exactly that, people will be bringing frames and builds designed to take this damage.

We're talking elemental enchancements, weapon restrictions, shield augmentations all at the same time, that could make it challenging, tricky AND be rewarding.

TL;DR - Put multiple sortie restrictions for the alerts instead as it could be more challenging than a simple 'No revive' condition, which could be cheesed with Link Trin, Turbulence Zephyr, Rhino, Valkyr or anything else with an ability to remain invisible or tank damage.
