Warframe powers are not Void energy. Void energy is the power for the frame, the frames are lenses that do more interesting things with it. Ember does Fire damage not Void damage.

I understand that, but if they are lenses for said void energy, wouldn't it technically count? Unless it means *pure* void energy...

In which case why wouldn't getting nuked by an Angstrum NOT kill them but getting zapped by a small beam would?

yeah but they kinda changed the augment into a generic nuke skill (one that goes through walls too)

like you know how (some) frost players spam the heck out of 4?

that's kinda what the new augment encourages.

The original plan with it was "place down a soundquake field in a small aoe for a fixed duration (maybe like 6 seconds)". That's a good change. Even better if it did no damage for doing that. Actually complements banshees flaw with having no reliable cc and encourages her other augments to be used which all provide an interesting dynamic to improving your weapons.

The part where they strayed from that idea and decided "let's just make it radial javelin that goes through walls" just seems awful.

I personally only play sonar banshee and over the past 2 years have forma'd out and used pretty much every weapon in the game with it, so for me the augment change did nothing beyond make me wonder what could have been if they stuck with plan A instead of switching to plan B.

I prefer to run Sonar Banshee too - I just feel bad using anything like Maim Equinox, Ember etc since it doesn't encourage teamwork and takes the joy out of everything, even for the person using said frames.

I don't run Ember often for example because WoF is incredibly *boring*

Soundquake Augment Banshee is the exact same, it's boring. Very boring.

Now i'm not opposed to people running like that at all, if they want to play the game that way, power to you. Just expect to get insulted in public groups and have people leave after 5 minutes for example.

It would be interesting to see what WOULD have happened if the augment was changed that way however.

Ideally i'd like to see all instances of nuking removed, Main Equinox running ahead killing everything instantly on a sortie for example.

  3. I'm wary about the IPS changes.

You guys need to tread carefully with this one, it seems like a massive nerf to most things, Impact ragdolling would make impact weapons UNBEARABLE to use.

There will ALWAYS be a meta to follow, Slash just happens to be it.

You change Slash, people will FLOCK to the next best thing because it's what we do as a whole - then you'll change that and we'll all flock to the NEXT best.

Create a level playing field for all procs, Mogamu had a good idea in his most recent video with Impact procs potentially disarming enemies as opposed to ragdolling them all over the place and making it a royal pain.

  4. DE nerfed Tonkor into the ground.

Took away it's mechanics that made it unique (Bounce) to make it the standard generic launcher weapon it is today that see's little to no use.

It's interesting to use still, don't get me wrong, but it's the EXACT same as all the others now, it blows up in your face, you're dead. No uniqueness.

Hey guys, quick question, How intrusive is the operator after doing the second dream? And also is the second dream required to move on in the game? the reason I ask this it's because I just don't really like the idea of the operator (or ar the very least the idea of being a child) this is just my opinion though, I know that a lot of people do enjoy the operator and that stuff, but to me personally it's just not my cup of tea, and I will prefer not having to deal with him at all, but I've heard that it is required for you to do the second dream to move forward in the game. So how annoying do you think  it will be for someone like me to deal with the operator?

I'm in the same boat as you, as it stands operator really ISN'T that intrusive, unless you do quests but to be honest that's just a quick thing so you can do it and move on.

I follow my own headcannon and the operators don't have any prescence in it.

You can turn off their voiuce and they won't ever show up, you can put the hood up and not even let them have a face too.

There ARE missions that sometimes require it's use later on but even then it's so minor you can just use it for a few seconds and that's it (Even then you can let someone ELSE do it for you while you help them out)

As a game it's still VERY playable without them, they offer bonuses sure, but they are by no means needed bonuses.

Travel ability outside of POE typically not useful. Passive that is moderately good and proving my point that her 4 is the only notable thing.

Not mentioning the fact that her 2 can nuke entire maps?

And who's not to say Wormhole is used outside of PoE? It's incredibly useful for getting to places.

Unpopular indeed. I did enjoy TSD. Playing for over 3 years then and then creating your character is something new.

But yeah, Lua is not worth visiting now. What else is there to get once you get Octavia's parts and drifts.

And damage resistance. Well, it's quite lore-wise and at least there's some sensible way to nullify it.

Not to say the update was bad - it just wasn't my cup of tea. For others though, I can see the appeal.

You don't need Nova for everything, sonar banshee can do just as much as Nova if not more if you can aim. Don't see why you nova players just absolutely cannot go without spamming your MP

Almost as if it's her 4th ability in her kit. Wow, such a crime.
