  1. Yeah, you should take a look at the stickied threads

    But to help: Naeglar, Eris

Infected boss, quite easy (especially if it gets bugged and dies within two shots)

it seems to have same bug as Ars Etina does/did.

when there are 4 people in the same room with it it has as much health/resistance as simple Moa

  2. Just a thought that i had.

It is confirmed that the Corpus is researching Orokin era(Tenno) technology.

But what if all 3 factions actually had their own "prototypes" of warframes.

Grineer prototype warframe should be like big brother of Rhino, almost as big as your standard grineer, using heavy armor with bonuses to using rifles/Melee.One of its skills should be that radial knockdown used by Heavy Grineers.

Its name should strike fears into enemies of Grineer empire, something along Devastator, etc.

Corpus prototype should be using very light armor (with slightly better armor on head).

Heavily dependant on technology (skills), no bonuses to using weapons, High shields, low health.

It could have skills related to lasers, or a "phase walk" which would allow you to go through laser doors.EMP shock is an option too.

It's name could be tech related, something like Prototype Alpha, etc.

Infested warframe would be most likely already existing warframe (just an unknown one) which has been partially "assimilated".It could be covered with those spores which grow on walls/floor.Also it would have some sort of bonuses to melee attacks (possibly small claws made out of technocyte material?).One of its skills could be releasing a batch of those orange particles you can see floating on the map, which would devour targets within a radius (possibly assimilating them/turning them into friendly form of infested).

It could be called something like Homunculus, etc.

    feel free to comment.

  3. Grinders:

-they need to be a little bit slower or have a slowdown somewhere after/before attack, as of now it's hard to hit them as they're fast and they cause you to stagger.

    Chargers:

-They idle sounds have grineer speech clips

-They sound is very bugged, one can sound like 2/3 of them and more than 2 sound like whole pack of them chasing after you.

-Their ragdolls are hard to tell apart from the living ones, so often people end up shooting/meeleing dead bodies

  4. As i'm subscribed to Alert Forums i get notification by emails.

One kind of telemetry i can see thanks to those emails is following:

? Alerts tend to appear during USA timezones Daytime

Just some of them (in GMT+1 time)

    2:17AM

    1:45AM

    6:08PM

    11:37AM

    5:35AM

    Midninght

    11:37PM

    10:34PM

    6:48:PM

    6:44AM

    1:08AM

    Midnight

    6:46AM

    and on and on.

As you can clearly see, majority of ? alerts appear during time which is unplayable for Eastern/European players (especially for those who have to go to school/work).

My idea to solving this issue is to differentiate alerts for all server zones and applying following set of ? alert generation rules:

    During working weekdays:

-? Alerts more likely to appear from 3PM till 11PM (and still appearing but less likely outside this time frame)

    During weekends/holidays:

-? Alerts more likely to appear from Afternoon till Midnight/1AM

This way players from different regions have equal chance to encounter ?Alert, and difference between people who have to study/work and those who somehow can keep playing 24/7 is somehow equalized.

The point is that this way, you'll miss one or two alerts, not HIT one or two alerts(as a player from outside US).

    Cheers.

  5. Haven't tried other elimination missions, but it's most likely related specifically to infested missions:

Basically when you've got 1 enemy left, he won't be marked on minimap and marker leading to extraction point will appear, as if everything was killed. But it'll keep saying that there is an enemy left (which is nowhere to be found).

I tried Eris 1st mission 4 times and the bug occured each time.

  6. Tenno, Corpus and Grineer are all humans

Tenno are the oldest humans which were in cryogenic pods since Orokin era.

Grineer is an opressive empire made out of cloned humans.

Corpus is not explained perfectly, but they're also humans. Some sort of "space merchants" which seek to obtain Orokin era (Tenno) technology.

    As taken from here

    https://warframe.com/game/factions

    Tenno:

The Tenno are descendants of an ancient and mystical civilization of lost warriors from the Orokin era on Earth.

    Grineer:

Vast in numbers, the Grineer have expanded their vile empire from Earth outward to all sectors of the solar system. Once the Grineer rediscovered cloning technology, they seized control of Earth through sheer numbers.

    Corpus:

The Corpus are a dominating proto-corporation of humans that maintain and operate the trade routes of the Solar Rails.

    I understand it as:

After Tenno disappeared, earth was divided between few factions, Corpus and Grineer were two biggest players.

As explained on the page, Grineer outnumbered the Corpus thanks to cloning technology which also made them look less human.

So Corpus is possibly most core "human" being besides Tenno (if we ever get to see Tenno without warframe on him) in current Warframe universum.

  8. Great Insight mate! Please be advised that this is CBT and the game is still a massive WIP dispite being in a VERY clean and useable place.

Expect to see them pretty things up as we go!

Generally engine is a separate development thread than the game, so it can either be pretty much done or be in development longer than this game.

  9. One of main reasons i like the game is that warframe is utilising both DX11 and 64Bit hardware.

Features like PhysX and local reflections are nice and i thought how the set of eyecandies could possibly be expanded.

-Ambient Occlusion - some love it, some hate it.It's easy to imlement, both HBAO(Nvidia) and HDAO(ATI)

-Tessalation - Flagship feature of DX11, i see no reason not to use it

-Expanding PhysX implementation - Currently it's only used for particles, it could possibly be used for debris (imagine it getting sucked out during depressurisation) or Cloth (Grineer technically is an oppresive empire, i can imagine their ships having few nazi alike big flags hanging in rooms)(or animating clothing parts of warframes, like volts/trinitys lower coat/lobster tail)

-Native MSAA support (a must, on some resolutions shader AA doesn't cut it)

-Making flashlights cast shadows(with possible settings of "only mine" or "whole team")

Only real issue i've got with the game on technical part are low-res textures, some of them should get sharpened up and local reflections, sometimes the reflected image is cut in weird way.
