Thats a possibility, but that doesn't feel right. When DE doe something like that they tend to leave some sort of hint in dialougue, trailers and etc. But we don't get any of the sort. Maybe she was refering to "worm", maybe something related to Infested. As the Operators are part infested and immune to them.

I can easily see how the infestation got on our liset now.
