  1. Alerts and invasions with valuable rewards like reactor, forma or rares, in my timezone (GMT+1), happens either when Im at work or late at night. Its easy to assume that for a LOT of players from GMT-1, GMT, GMT+1 its the same...

    Are the rewards time of occurance random? Can something be done to make it more even across the baord?

  2. HI.

    First of all, the hud goes beyond borders of a screen in certain circumstances. Small icons by the edge of the screen tend to dissapear completely from players line of sight. Periphersl perception doesnt work either here.

     

    The important thing is our biology and brain. Perception in particular. You know what the trouble our brain goes through to keep an eye on the game and to glance on the powers and energy? Its like stress testing Atari800XL playing CoD Ghosts... no, wait, thats a bad example :)

    In most occasions we fail to find what we were looking for. So we have to convert all of our processsing power on the hud. And you know what happens when the towers all seeing Fiery Eye focuses on a detail on the ground? Aye, some small hobbitses sneek by and kill you. I think you should take this into consideration.

     

    3rdly, some of the changes are arbitrary, you either mind or you dont.You should reconsider the HP/shields bar, the minimap markers, if the lvl up bar is really that important.

     

    I like the UI design & concept, and it can go in the right <dir> but there is always something to improve on.

    I like the idea of elements of the hud suspended in the air, 3D-like holographic info. Expand on it I say!

    Minimap icons and up/down markers - the triangle should be the same colour as the marker it adheres to. Not white.

  3. Some of you are mixing lore with gameplay mechanics. You shouldnt  draw conclusions from the fact that you as a gamer can coontrol different genders. Look at other online games. You can create multiple characters, both genders. Does that mean they are just vessels for some uber being controlling them? Applying philosophy to gameplay mechanics.. don't.

    I'm submitting a rought sketch which I would fine tune given the time... but alas. It would go strictly in B&W playing with high contrast giving shape... yes imagine that ;D

  5. Hi.

    Some updates ago I got a Clan Key (I was the only member for the time being). I was wandering the halls, got beat up in some duels and stuff. The usual.

    I come back after few months and I cant access the space. All I have left is some tower defence keys and thats all. Can someone explain what happened? Did something change in the period I was gone, got reset maybe?

     

    I wanted to check up trading system, can I do it without a clan or clan dojo?

     

  6. Hi there.

    After dabbling a little with the game in the first system I have some general notions I would like to put before you as general feedback.

    I'll start with the art.

    Right now the maps are a little empty - monotenous, same color palette, little enviro distinction between "locations". Level design quite good, moderate number of obstacles and places that can be used as blind spots.

    Too much ... hmmm, bloom I guess. Metallic objects are givin too much of a slight, a mist of light right now.

    Textures are lacking authenticity... I know this may be a thing to work upon closer to finish but still, Grinees look like plactic soldiers from Toy Story. Warframes too. With glowing bloom it wrecks my eyes a little ;)

    Ingame info.

    Not enough tips and description, no advanced settings for graphics and controls (lack of keys management).

    What does what, how do you use it? If I use a mod and apply is it permanent? Is there any cooldown on powers, how much energy each use take etc. Those were the questions I was asking while playing after some significant level up.

    Gameplay.

    Good, but simple. I missed some stealth moves or some form of cover movement. I missed entirely the possibility of roll or slide - there is no tutorial covering "advanced" movement.

    Short list of melee strikes, would be nice if we could chain them.

    Dualwielding, my fav option in any games... here - do I gain a skill to dualwield other blades or is it just set weapons+skill bundle?

    Inventory, again, you have to figure it out on your own.

    Crashes.

    Happened twice, each time the file report option failed for no known reason.

    Thats it for the time being. I've only started and am sure there will be more to come from my part. Right now Warframe is enjoyable and fun to play.
