  1. This event isn't all that great in my opinion. I had more fun anticipating it throughout the whole week than actually participating.

First of all, the reward was clear and the set amount of kills required was also clear from the start. With Fusion MOA I had a feeling that I contributed, but now I've killed around 500 and I'm thinking to myself 'What's the point?' What I mean is that the unknown always brings more curiosity. Stating the reward may alienate people, because they don't want that specific thing and won't participate. Also, pro tip: don't include any data of the reward before it finishing, as it will be datamined and spoiled (if you plan on hiding the reward).

Secondly, it's just not fun. Those drones are static, non-aggresive mobs. I can see them being there and disrupting mini map as a nice addtition to the game, however making it the main objective feels like shooting down cameras on Corpus levels - it's just tedious. Another thing about them being static is that they don't appear on defense/mobile defense missions in waves, only at the start, which is a bummer because those missions have the most potential mobs spawned. An event about grinding excluding the two mission types dedicated to grinding. Not really smart.

Finally, the incentive. Many people got turned off because of those leaderboards. As someone mentioned, more tiers of guaranteed prizes would've been awesome. For example:
    20 kills - Snipetron Vandal
50 kills - Random Common Mod
100 kills - Random Rare Mod

250 kills - Specific Very Rare mod
500 kills - One of the New Rare Mods

and so on. Many people didn't even try to compete because people went crazy with farming and others didn't stand a chance in the long run, because of time constraints. Another thing is that the event encouraged solo play, in a co-op focused game because of counting specific kills towards only one player.

To conclude, of the three events, this one I've enjoyed the least. It wasn't awful, it was just poorly executed. I hope DE will bring more great experiences in the future to all of us players. Not everything is perfect from the get go : )

  2. I've been plying Rhino pre-nerf and after the big nerf, I've switched to other frames and ended up with Frost. After 8.3, I've decided to give him another go - here are my thoughts after some testing.

First of all, Rhino isn't in my opinion end-game-capable frame right now, but it doesn't matter for me. Many other frames are incapable of surviving high lvl defense waves. However, that doesn't mean that he isn't a lot of fun to play.

Rhino Charge: primarily a travel skill for me, sometimes a cheap way to destroy a row of low level enemies. It's fine as it is.

Irok Skin: well, this one is kinda controversial, people complain about dmg cap being too low, but I like to think about that skill as a knockdown/poison/disrupt/stun immunity skill. It's awesome in that respect. Still doesn't protect you from lvl 100enemies, but not many frames have such abilities. You shouldn't rely on one ability that can defend you from those high lvl enemies, as Frost does. I'd leave this ability as it is. (I'm not really into high lvl defense missions, so bear that in mind.)

Roar: this one is a welcome change! I've never used Radial Blast, but this one stays in my loadout all the time. Especially great on bosses. Not as great as Sonar, but does the job quite nicely.

Rhino Stomp: didn't expect such great results from this one, but it became my favourite skill. Good dmg because of the armor ignore, awesome CC, it's the Rhino Ulti he deserves.

Rhino after this patch seemes similair to a Banshee for me with his 3rd and 4th skills. He isn't better in every possible way, but he's a nicely balanced warframe. I like it a lot! Thanks DE!

Sorry for my english, it isn't my native language : )

  3. I've enjoyed the defense missions this weekend. Kinda hard when you don't have massive AoE damage, without Frost kind of impossible. Grineer defense is what I hate the most in the game, and those were the toughest of them all. Still, had fun, the new artifacts aren't mind blowing, but I can see the potential with the upcoiming changes to the artifacts. Awesome overall, thanks DE!

  4. Rhino was my favourite, right now it's useless in high level missions. Farming Loki, I guess.

Aside from that, I think that changing some weapons to BP isn't that bad, but even the crappy ones (Burston)? Prices are fine for me, but new players may get alienated and get to feel like it's a grind for a new weapon. I like the idea of giving some of the lower tier weapons for just credits to test out specific weapon types : )

Another thing, did you change the sliding or something? I can't really explain it, but it feels a little bit faster for me sometimes, especially when sliding mid-air, it's a bit floaty if you end it early. (Rhino +25% sprint)

    Anyway, thanks for the update.
