  1. Been having the same exact issue since yesterday... I just had updated my graphic card drivers, and now it won't even load to the login screen, just a black screen with the benchmark shown on the bottom left (where I use them to check performance) stuck to 0 and then crash and immediately send me to the infamous "hardware failure" page.

EDIT: guys I solved the issue... what I had to do was to get in the control panel of my screen, then from the 3d settings deactivate all the settings I had for WF, then I re-optimized the game (I run a Nvidia, so I have the geforce Xperience programe to do that) and the game worked fine. Try that if you can...

  2. DE should use the most underused weapons as a base for syndicate melees. It destroys weapon diversity when we so many powerful weapons become even more powerful, more people will use that weapon over others. The rakta cernos, the secura penta, the secura dual cestra, the rakta balistica, the synoid simulor, the santi castanas and telos akbolto, were really god examples of underused weapons.. Im not sure on the marelok being used a lot.The hek and tigirs did not need even more powerful versions. The telos boltor from what i can tell,a lot of people don't like it.I see the boltor prime more than the telos boltor.Looks like the telos boltor isn't that good to the community.

I concurr, totally. The Vaykor Hek and the Telos Boltor are 2 missed opportunities to create very interesting and "unique" weapons. I would have loved a Telos Sybaris or Tyberon, and a Vaykor Hind or Vulkar (I know we have the Wraith now, but now, not when synd primaries were released).

We need synd melee that are not the same old weapons everyone is already using over and over again only restiled and with some improved stats.

We need something that will make us use weapons categories left for ages taking dust in a corner.

Jat Kittag and Galatine don't need to be "syndicated" at all, to name a few. Lecta, Venka, Halikar and others like this on the other hand would mabe very interesting candidates.

    Some ideas:

For Rakta, any dual daggers or single daggers and the throwing melees, maybe even the claws.

For Secura, I'd say Lecta, Serro and Obex, we have already Prova variants.

For Sancti, Magistar, Redeemer and scythes.

For Vaykor, Amphis, Atterax (?), Halikar and Ack & Brunt.

For Telos, Tombo or Tipedo, Destreza (?), maybe even the Lacera.

Don't know about the Synoid, should be totally new "Cephalon made" melee weapons.

  3. If it's true that they'll remove/rework damage dealing mods and multishot, I think that the crit-related ones will become the mainstay of many builds, especially for rifles/snipers/bows.
Don't know about the status chance ones though.
I tried argon scope and bladed rounds, but that will force to reconsider a lot of builds and to forma again many weapons (being all v polarities), especially when someone did put on a slash polarity for those elemental mods.
We'll see how this will turn out.

  4. For the Grineer:

    - Ballistas, because while I'm having fun butchering grineer, I see my shields go without even understanding what hit me, then I notice one of those f*ckers hiding behind a wall and I realize WHY my shelds are gone!

    - Scorches, because I loved the Ignis buff, but for f*ck's sake, all these basterds have to do is to just look in your general direction to set you on fire and kill you.

    - Commanders, because you are killing stuff and get insta-teleported right next to a Heavy Gunner/Bombard/Napalm without any warning.

    - Energy leechers, especially when they take the Ballista form

    For the Corpus:
    - Sapping Ospreys, nuff said.

    - Nullifiers, because that f*cking bubble should behave like a shield, not like a friggin object REQUIRING the use of high-rof weapons to dispatch it. I can't stand those @rseholes when I'm using bows or other low-rof weapons.

    - the comba/scrambus using Angstrum.

    For the Infested:

    - Ancients, If they had not the grappling hooks they would be not so annoying.

    - All the possible Parasite Eximi. Can't stand to see my energy drop because one of these little annoying sh!ts is in the vicinity.

    - Mutalist moas, the most annoying thing in the Infested arsenal.

The Sentients are good, but could use a little rework.

  5. GUYS GUYS I'VE RUN SOME MORE TESTS!!!!
I found (using a R8 heavy cal) that only the secondary saw gets sent to another direction (basically it goes right into the ground to bounce immediately).
The first one, both on charged and un-charged shots, will always fly straight in the direction you aim to!

  6. - Scythes (higher range and longer models, some more damage)

    - Dark Dagger (has no stance so far with matching polarity, forcing to forma it or wait indefinitely 'till they'll remember to add a stance for it)

    - Secura dual cestra (need less recoil and faster reload speed imho)

    - Throw explosive secondaries: fix the damn ammo bug. I want to be able to bring them with bows/ explosive primaries without being forced to slap on a ammo mutaion somewhere

  7. They need a little more damage and yes, to be a little longer (so basically a little more range) than now. And maybe a new stance? The animations aren't that good imho

  8. id say it depends highly on ur personal play style

if u want to use the miter like a shotgun and be very close to the enemy i dont see a problem using heavy cal

but if u shoot on a medium to long range i wouldnt recommend using heavy cal

my intention is to use it on a medium/long range, so I'll probably skip the use of heavy cal on this one.

Thanks to all of you for your advices guys. Much appreciated.

  9. Hi there fellow Tenno. I've got a question for you: I'm interested in forma-ing my Miter (I'll then get a second one to build the Panthera one day) and I've seen some builds for it. In all of them it's adviced to avoid using Heavy Caliber for the accuracy loss. Now, the other day I've run some test in the Simulacrum using Split Chamber and Heavy Caliber, and what I've seen is that only the secondary saws (on a full charge) were afflicted by the accuracy penalty, while the primary saws would go straight in line no problem. Now, my computer died on me a coupla days ago, so I can't test for sure this again and I... well... forgot to test it on not-charged shots (derp :P).
The question is: is Heavy Caliber worth on this weapon, or it will damage greatly the accuracy of the not-charged shots?

This is (until I get a response on Heavy Cal) the build I'm planning to use:

    http://goo.gl/MlghNY
The last slot is being kept free at the moment for a possible Heavy Cal/other element mod once I'll have the answer to my question.

    Thanks in advance.

  10. Yes iI did and it sounds like whine to me ! And the disrespect... Why dont DE change the whole game so you peoble DONT have to get better. Greedy Poll has been in the game for how long ? 2-3 month, I never jused it OR will never juse it, dont need to, it's plane and simple peoble, BUILD YOUR SKILLS !

    Sigh... Ok, I'll try again:

    1) No one ever forced you to use that composition. If you are a Trve-hard-ultra-pro that can do a lot of things without the help from Gmag or other "famous" combos, good for you. But then again, do not dictate how other players should play or force a playstyle they don't have/like/are able to use onto them. And that's what the whiners anti-Gmag did.

    2) That composition was an answer the gamers came up with to mitigate the tediousness of a lot of stationary missions and the problems related to the RNG, grindwall and enemies scaling (at high levels) of this game. Had DE "fixed" the RNG problem (with equal chance drop tables, for example, or other rewarding systems), Gmag would have been only "another possible frame to use and have fun with". With the problems that we have instead, she was basically A NECESSITY for a lot of players and teams. Now, they (we) are "unarmed" against this despicable situations, or if we are not totally unramed (because in recruiting you can already see "need mesa/ trynity/ mirage/ nova/ ecc), we still lack a proper solution. And at the same time we have one less instrument available. This also kills the variety of the game, because now Gmag in the eyes of a lot of players is useless (or has lower uses) for a team compared to other frames.

    3) The move of turning Gpull into Selfish Gpull goes even against the "spirit" of this game: cooperation. An ability useful not only for one player but for his/her whole squad has been turned into a personal-gain-only power, and that should be the last thing to happen in a co-op game.

    4) IT DOES NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. Many players, still wanting the max efficiency possible to overcome the grindwall of this game, are already "researching" alternative combinations that will allow them to do pretty much the same thing they did with Gmag before. Do they have fun with this systems? Hell no. Are they FORCED somehow by game desing to use this systems? Hell yes, sadly.

The rework of Gpull would have been acceptable if they had looked into the messed up drop/reward tables of the game, and they surely as hell didn't. So I'll PROTEST (the whine I'll leave to others) exposing my points (that I'm sure are shared by a lot of other players) until something is done. It's the same thing that a lot of sh!theads used to have weapons and power nerfed, but with less idiocy and more common sense for the benefit of all players.

  11. you didn't get what he said, do you?

There is a good reason if I define him a tool isn't it?

I play about 2 hours a day, what I consider much for a person who has a job and a life.

I normally do the 6 syndicate dailies with all the sigils and then some alerts/invasions, if theres good stuff and then I do some Void missions to get some prime parts and still formas. After like 1:45h I still have about 10-12k daily standing left.

The way DE wants us to play the game is just not very good to get your daily standing down to 0.

So at the end of the day I do 4 rounds of Draco with an unmaxed setup to level my stuff and get the daily standing to 0. Sometimes I need to do another round to max out.

I do that because normal gameplay is just horribly bad for leveling your gear and maxing your standing.

Sure T4D gives some standing aswell but I would never dare to make the life of other players hard because Im playing with an really bad setup on T4D.

Is it really that bad, that after 2h of daily playing I want to see some progess in my gear and get the standing maxed for my Voidkey supply?

Because I thing farmin for keys is even more tedious.

That's another problem that Gmag helped "resolve", or at least circumvent. Have you tried the Spy missions? If done correctly, they'll give you a lot of affinity... sure thing, they are far less efficient than the old Gmag/mesa combo on Draco, but still...

  12. It IS possible to get to 60 without a Gmag but it will be a real pain in the.... and will be pointless :D

Well, I was talking about the example that the tool made :P I know it's pointless, for enemies scaling and reward rotation. It was just to make an example of the innate idiocy of some things-that-pretend-to-be-humans.

  13. I don't, but it makes life a lot easier :))

Don't feed the idiocy of these things (I won't lower myself into calling them "people").

If they are able to get to 60 minutes of survival without a Gmag, good for them. The thing is? WE NEVER FORCED THEM TO USE HER or other "super-useful" frames. If I'm not "dictating" the way you play, don't even dare to do the same to me. But now, thanks to their stupid mindless whining, WE are stuck with a very bad system (RNG) and no instrument to at least mitigate the damage it does to us.

  14. Whine, whine and whine, gmag is gone buhu stop whining over this ! I hate seeing all these scrublords and their mesa and gmas crab, in chat/recruiting saying who OP they was, then you join a Tower 1 defense (LOL) with them and they couldent go pased wave 30 (ROMFAL) i took absalutly NO skill what so ever, find another game to camp in. CYA !

Ever heard of a disarm Loki :p

You are everything that's wrong with this community. I hope you do not reproduce.

  15. I don't know, what the problem was for those who cried for a nerf. Was it to hard to disconnect a session when a GMag was there?

The problem is that they are clearly sh!theads that do not know nor understand that you can play this game in every friggin way you want. I'm the same as you, sometimes I love to desecrate stuff, sometimes to slow down or speed up things, and sometimes to take the loot. And all of this isn't only for me, but also FOR THE BENEFIT OF MY WHOLE TEAM. Sometimes instead, I may prefer to "spice things up" by running solo or casual missions with low level gear. Sure thing, about the Gmag/nekros/mesa combos, those aren't the only composition you can play with, but tell me, did someone force these idiots into playing ONLY in that way?

    No.

Did someone pull a gun on their heads and compel them to use always DespNekros, GMag, Mesa and-or Slow/SpeedNova or other frames?

    Absolutely No.

I liked that playstyle because it was easier, it allowed me to also TALK and have social interaction with people (a thing that I valued a lot) and at the same time it allowed me to rank up my weapons after I formaed them, so that I could then bring them to "more serious" stuff (bosses, solo runs, you name it).

Now we are back to square one. Now WE ARE THE ONE BEING FORCED INTO A PLAYSTYLE THAT WE DON'T LIKE NOR SHOULD NEED. Now we have to figure new ways out against the grindfest that is this game.

You do not like Gpull? No problem, just don't play it. Or host games where you say to your cell "no camping, no gpull". Problem solved. You like to have to run here and there just to take that neurode or those morphics? I've no problem with that, and I'll never enforce you to do things "my way". But now, you and your idiocy are forcing me to against a grindwall without the instruments to survive its tediousness. You are killing the "team" part of "teamplay". Because you are all idiots. I don't care if I get a warning, honestly. As ISwRI and Valtaya said:

Do you actualy know the time it takes some "corrupted" of the 10th wave during a T4 defense, while a 4man squad plays, to destroy the pod? SOmething that actualy happens, when ALLE the players are running around, taking cover and using the "advantage" of the environment. Somthing that works on T1 Defense till wave 16, is not going to work on T4 already at wave 6. You, sir, have no idea.

Basicaly, during a defense mission, all players are just a damage sponge so this damage is not done to the defended item. It is all about destroying the enemy faster then it can inflict damage on you. In late game, this shifts towards the AI controlled enemy, they do more damage, they have higher survivability and the players have to use tactics. But at some point, taking cover is no longer doing the trick. If you "hide" too much to avoid damage, the npcs will just attack the "pod" and it is over within 5 seconds or less. Go try it yourself. Oh and btw, T4 Def 10th wave is NOT late game, imagine how it looks like on wave 40+.

If you want to talk about this nonsense, we talk about low level pipi, enemies lvl 10-15. There your "stuff" works, later on, not so much. You can only stand in the center, protected by a snowglobe or chaincasted CC and survive long enough to evacuate at some point. Between the waves, you can let one or two NPCs alive so you can run around unhounded. Is that fun? To you maybe, to me not, I gues to Yashia neither, to other the same.

Dear incarnation of arrogance itself (you): you are forcing YOUR sense of fun and how to play to others, if you do not like GMag, do not use one, simple. You rather nerf something and force your "superior way of playing" onto others just because they could do the same but more efficiently and with less effort, something the humanity will always do.

I understand die-hard players who are upset, because companies tend to make "games" way too easy so every moron can play, but GMag was not something, that made the game too easy. It was just another way of playing the game.

The people defending this changes are worse then the people whining about them.

    And

What u don't understand is that this nerf isn't going to solve this problem at all, because those players will not change the way they play.I mean GP is still useful for solo play but it's useless for co-op. On the other hand farming ressources we need became even more tedious.

This change would have been acceptable if also the drop tables had been looked on. If the reward system had been "fixed" to be less frustrating. Without that? It's just a spit on the face of the players, and all for the sake of the sh!theads that want to ENFORCE their playstyle onto other people.

  16. My starter frame was Mag.  I used her pull ability 10 times more than any of her other abilites early on because it was useful, it was cheap, it got me more kills, it got me most damage (for the most part)  It kept enemies on the floor and at the end I had 5-6 times more power uses than everyone else on my team, combined.

So I don't see your point.

If you have a utility ability that works and people recognize this utility and want to use it then ofc that ability will get used most, especially if they're an integral part of a play style.  It's just common sense.  The point isn't about that it was nerfed, it's about why it was nerfed to begin with.  It wasn't hurting anything, even with Draco the grind is still a tedious and boring aspect of this game, I've done Draco, I've done T4D with a Mesa-Gmag combo.  It's STILL hard to do, it's STILL tedious.  The rest of the team (including the Gmag) have to keep a sharp eye on nullifiers in T4D and Draco is only good for affinity and quick leveling weapons.  Rarely is there ever any good loot drops or mod drops outside of void.

People thinking this combo is "ruining the game" need to understand that there will always be this kind of play in these games, it's because of how this game is inherently built.    if you don't like that, fine.  I'm not stopping you from using your Saryn to spam her ultimate through Tower exterminates, so why are you stopping me from enjoying the utility of Gmag?  Why are you questioning my playstyle when I'm perfectly happy to assist fellow players by being an energy drop/ammo drop/carrier.  I don't mind, I don't mind people asking me for Gmag.  I don't mind people asking for any frame in particular.  It is their right as host to ask for whoever and whatever they want because it is their key/connection/initiative.  If you don't like that, host your own mission and deal with the enemies yourself.  That is YOUR right as a player.  Quit trying to make it your right to decide how other players play the game.  That is THEIR choice.

This goes for the players and DE both.  Just because we're not playing the way you like/envisioned, it doesn't mean its the wrong way to play.  We're playing within the boundaries, within the rules, within the borders of this little sandbox that you built and enjoy.  We make our own fun, I can't tell you the mindless cathartic action it is just to slide up and down the incline in my Liset while I'm talking with a friend,  I can't tell you how fun it was finding all the little secrets and hard to reach area's in every tile set,  just exploring and finding places to look out over the world instead of doing a stupid exterminate.

I can't even describe the fun I've had just toying with my enemies, finding funny and hilarious ways to mess with them.

If you want a good laugh, equip a Paracyst and start yanking them into a Vaubaun bounce pad and launching them around a room like a ping pong ball, bouncing them off walls, ceilings and floors.   Or if you want some gut busting giggles, equip a Jat Kittag and ground slam a nullifier with their shield up and watch the corpus go flying, their shield following along around them like you launched a giant glowing beach ball.

Would you consider this how the game is played?  Of course not.  The devs intended us to play the missions as they're described.  Does it mean I play their way?  Sometimes.  Sometimes I like playing regular missions. I helped a bunch of MR 2-5's this morning go 30 minutes in a plain old mercury survival, why?  Because I could.  Because I didn't care about the loot at the time, alI I wanted to do was play with the gear I had on and help a couple of newbies get some nice things.

And then sometimes I don't play those missions the way the devs want me to.  Should I be punished for finding another way to have fun with a game that I love, which hurts no one and makes obtaining what I want a little easier or gives me a modicum of enjoyment and a feeling of camaraderie with the other players that are in the mission with me?  If that answer is yes, from a player that's an instant ignore, I don't care what you think at that point if you think your opinions are inherently better than mine.  If that's from the devs, then you can consider me awol.  I don't need you to tell me how to play your game and I don't care how you want your game to be played. I can figure that out on my own, and probably enjoy it a lot more than you ever intended. That's the funny thing about people, they'll find enjoyment in the simple and strange because enjoyment isn't locked to what you think is fun, we find our own fun, that's our standard as gamers, if you want to take something that many of us find fun away because of a vocal few, then that sets a precedent that you really don't want to follow. That path only leads to ruin.

If you'll ever run for president, doesn't matter of which nation, I'll take the citizenship of that nation, even if it'll mean losing that of my country, and I'll vote you one hundred times. You have said EVERYTHING I think, and in a far better way than I could probably.

  17. The grinding in this game is already terrible for many resons... What you did with this change is to spit in the face of the players. And for what? Just to try to stop the camping and "one-ability-only" spamming?? Let's be real here DE, some other form of "meta-game-breaking-strategy" will surely be developed by players to pass those tedious sessions of farming. You won't have success with that, DE, if that was your objective. Other frames will become the "new mag". Other composition that will create similar situations will be created. You can't win this "battle" using this stupid strategy.

Work around drop and resources tables, work around the rewards, but do not take away the few instrumets players have to survive the grinding!
You are about to lose one player, if you'll keep this direction. I want to be able to farm and grind when I need/feel it, and at the same time to do things "the not-so-easy" way when I want to have a more "challenging" fun. Now it's only the latter. Revert this, for the sake of those that are forced BY THE VERY SYSTEM YOU IMPLEMENTED to go through "4 waves inteception/ 20-40 min survival/ 20-30 waves of defense".

  18. Because greedy pull was the only ability of the mag, to help the complete squad, which is a co-op mechanic.

Sure she can do damage, but there are other warframes who can do that as well.

She can do some CC with 4+augment, but there are other warframes who are better at it or at least equal.

Greedy Pull was an unique ability no other warframe could provide. And it was not game gamebreaking, it just made life a bit easier (there is this guy in this thread, who thinks "at least I can now do something with my frost in void defense instead of placing snowglobe"... well yeah, running around aimlessly to pickup all the drops surely THE fun thing about playing).

It was not even overused, 1 out of 10 games I had a greedy mag in my squad. Wow. Yeah.

It there would be at least ONE good valid reason why DE did that, but there is none.

This. One hundred times this. One thousand times this. ONE MILLION TIMES THIS!!!

GPull was very useful to acquire resources, and without that it will be now tedious a lot. I'm playing this game for fun. You know what's not fun? Having to search for every goddam drop of the enemies to get those 2-3 rare resources desperately needed. Without Gpull we are stuck with that system now.

    REVERT THIS MOTHERFRIGGIN NERF PLEASE!

  19. Eliminate some S#&$ from the drop table and we can start talking about doing this TA again. As for now, it's just friggin frustrating!!!
I don't want to see anymore:
    - 5000 Credits
    - 4000 Credits
    - 3000 Credits
    - Detonite Ampule
    - Mutagen Sample
    - Fieldron Sample
    - Madurai Transmute Core
    - Vazarin Transmute Core
    - Naramon Transmute Core
    - Stunning Speed Mod (Rare)
    - Hammer Shot Mod (Rare)
    - Blaze Mod (Rare)

And so far I didn't even get the nightmare mods.
Just leave in the drop tables:

    - 10x Rare Fusion Core
    - 5x Rare Fusion Core
    - Rift Sigil (Rare)
    - Buzz Kill Mod (Rare)
    - Fanged Fusillade Mod (Rare)
    - Sweeping Serration Mod (Rare)
    - Maim Mod (Rare)

And I'll be more prone to repeat this waste of time.

  20. DE please fix "enemies standing still in their respawn points" bug, it makes the struggle eternal!!!!

THIS PLEASE! The subject keeps on getting stuck under the stairs of the ceres map, and enemies don't come out of the spawn-points, forcing the players to go and search for them IN EVERY SINGLE SPAWN-POINT! It makes the mission long, boring and tedious.

  21. Only if Suda's armor isn't just a bunch of Synoid Gammacors sticked together with energy-duct tape, like the synoid syndana.

I would like it that way instead :P XD Oh well, tastes are tastes.

And about the design in general... yes, so far the only one that I like (even if I still have to get it) it's the Suda one. I have the Meridian one and I feel like it's... somehow disappointing

  22. I like the idea of Syndicate-related syandanas, but then why don't we make full sets out of those? I think it would be great to customize your frame in a way that says "Yes, I'm a proud member of that one syndicate!" Mybe even special helmets for the frames supported by every faction.
    Just my thoughts.
    Edit

As other ideas came out from the various posts, many people (me included) would love to see:
    Syndicate Skins,
Syndicate helmets for the various frames liked by each faction,
    Syndicates melee and primary weapons
