  1. Greetings!
I'm the only one left from a group of friends that started playing around 7 years ago. I'm still the owner of the clan/dojo we created back then, and I barely use it so I wouldn't mind turning it into plat.

I'm not sure how the orokin derelict design that you're looking for looks like, but when trading I've often received messages saying "oh you have the old design, that is not available anymore". If you want we can either arrange a meeting or post some pics of how to identify it please.

It has all the labs built with 99% of the stuff researched, as well as a dry dock and ventkids room, but the design is kinda messy.

  2. Build her for 175 efficiency, max range, some duration and the augment for her 4. You now have one of the best tanks in the game, with great cc. Mobility can be compensated with spoiler mode or a melee with a fast stance. She only lacks a nuke, but with good weapons she doesn't need it.

That's a good balance for being absolutely god tier in the fashion meta.

  3. Maybe I've been farming Exploiter too much lately, but I can't stop thinking that they have some similarities:

    - Both represent kind of an "devouring maternal figure" archetype

    - Lines like "IF YOU ARE NOT A MODEL, YOU SHALL BE MADE AN EXAMPLE", "YOU MUST LEARN WHAT TO THINK, NOT HOW TO THINK", "LOOK AT ME WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU" or "NOTHING CAN REPLACE A CHILD'S LOVE FOR THEIR MOTHER" is something Lydia would say, 100%.

    - During some lines, for example "'NEATH THE CIRCUIT OF THE SUN", their voices are almost identical.

Here's a reminder of how Lydia sounds (Handmaid's Tale S1 spoilers)

That's all, just a random thought I wanted to share.

you'll change you tune when you realize you wont reach the umbra forma or whatever. it was pretty funny to see praise turn to panic the last time around. good luck, though

I guess you have to do all the missions or almost all to get to the higher tiers, right? I don't see anything wrong with that, specially now that we can recover the ones we missed.

  5. I took a long break and recently decided to come back and check the new stuff. I had logged in a few times during the Wolf season, but for some reason I wasn't invested in Nightwave at all that time. I don't recall the exact rewards, but it seemed to me that doing all that stuff just to get a chance to farm the hammer parts wasn't worth it, at all.

This time I see a lot more cosmetic stuff, and I'm a sucker for that, I love collecting small things like sugatras or free skins. The operator suit for the last rank is amazing. And I was surprised and happy to see that if you complete the current missions, you recover the old ones that you missed, so the FOMO mechanic is diminished.

The best part is having something else to do, with a clear reward in sight. Before, if I didn't have anything to farm or level up, I'd just do the sorties every day and then afk in the orbiter. Now I feel motivated to play again.

Thanks DE, keep it up like this. Also, congratulations on the best implementation of a "battle pass" I've seen so far.

    PS: It's meaningless.

Hahahahha yeah, spot on. Wasn't there even a clan dedicated to camping those threads specifically for that?

  7. I've only done them solo. For the higher ones you definitively want something tanky, otherwise you'll have to bullet jump non stop and spam health pizzas. No matter how good you are, you can never be 100% aware of every single spawn around you. It is doable with squishy frames, of course, but being able to mitigate damage makes it all a lot less stressful.

That being said, the main difference with PoE bounties is that beyond just killing everything, we now have variations of open world interception and spy missions, so CC and stealth are important, too.

A balanced Rhino, an assimilate Nyx or Oberon were good choices for me so far. I've had a harder time with Ash, needing to abuse stealth and Bladestorm. Mesa with around 200% duration, 145% strength and decently modded regulators is faceroll op as always.

Fortunately we do not have frames that mix invisibility and tankiness, so overall I've been focusing my builds for the regular missions, and doing spy ones the standard way without cheese, or using the operator.

  8. I'm skeptic about most "conspiracy theories", but I must admit that the coverage Warframe gets in game news outlets is suspiciously unfair. Last week Kotaku made an article about "how players were asking DE to avoid crunch before Fortuna releases", which seemed to me as suggesting that DE could choose to do Rockstar levels of bullS#&$, when there's no precedent for it. Most even ignored how Steve's twitch stream was on the top 3 of the site's main page, an anomaly much more worthy of being reported. It's almost as if they were afraid of giving coverage to the good parts of the game. The fact that it reached such a solid place on "steam most played" while having almost zero good stories in major outlets speaks a lot of said good parts.

  9. I just saw most of the replies, and I just want to remind that the image in the op wasn't a complaint, just a joke because I imagined many other pc players would be in the same situation. I won't complain because I don't really care at this point. Instead of raging about the parts of the game I don't like, I'll just play if/when I think I'll have fun. Right now I'm having fun.

But since it's been mentioned, I'd rather deal with rng than timegates. I like making plans for my time in the game. Right now my plan is to get Garuda, forma her a bunch of times and use her as much as I can, even to farm standing in the Vallis. Right now the game forces our plan to be "just wait".

I strongly disagree with players defending timegates, and I think the "you are just whiny inpatient brats that will complete everything on day one and then complain about the lack of content" argument is the least consuctive thing that can be said, and it's straight up unnecessary toxic and condescending.

Timegating is not content. If people can complete everything in one day, that means the game only has one day worth of content.

I'm willing to give DE all the patience in the world for new releases, I'll wait as long as it is needed for Railjack, the New War and anything else. But here we are talking about content that is already released.

Timegating has absolutely zero positive aspects for players. The only thing it achieves is manipulating engagement metrics at the cost of player frustration.

  10. We know that in Warframe's universe it's possible to transfer consciousness to an artificial vessel (cephalons). We also know that, to an extent, the Corpus have some experience experimenting with remnants of Orokin tech. Maybe they do to people in debt something similar to what was done to Ordan, as some kind of insurance against rebellions.

But if that's the case I guess Nef could have dealt with the rebellion at the start "wireless-ly".

Took me weeks to get Khora

Well, we still need to farm Fortuna bounties to get her parts besides getting rep to level our standing to rank four. I got all mine in my first try of each one, and saw a report of another player stating the same. Maybe it's rigged in our favor, but the wiki says they aren't guaranteed.

    trying to get Toroids

This was very enjoyable, yes. It's the kind of gameplay I wished for for a long time.

yeah it sucks. just like having 99 traces. when trying to farm for a prime part: we've all been there at some point.

Yeah, the difference is that those three gems require a recipe that can only be purchased from the rank 4 rewards. With the daily standing cap, it will be several days before we can get them.

Oh well, I'm really enjoying the rest of the update ^^

Edit: one of them requires rank 4, the others 2 and 3.

  13. They will have to deal with all those inconveniences you're mentioning in any case. They already have to do it now. I'm saying that I've personally seen cases of newcomers that were engaged, some more than others, and immediately lost all their interest when they had to deal with slots and potatoes.

Sorry, but I see zero logic in what you say.

Then the player winds up feeling tricked when they have to buy one so long after having already spent their free plat.

^ For example - they already are feeling tricked now! Even faster!

I can't imagine giving one extra slot will harm the plat sales, I'll let DE figure that out. I'm just asking them to consider that the positive image they will have from doing it and the players they will retain will may be more profitable in the long term.
