Hello there!
Since I discovered that Baro will be coming to the relays today, I started farming some Ducats. He does have an impressive inventory, but to be honest, I was only interested in Primed Flow. Which he doesn't have this time.
So, how do you recommend me to use my Ducats? I have 510, I think.
Farm a little more and get the Prisma Grakata?
Buy a mod like Primed Pistol Gambit, and sell it for plat? (Or trade it for a Primed Flow. Would people accept a trade like that?)
Save for the next time he comes by?
I know that there are other items he has that I should get eventually, but at this moment I don't need them and don't want them (like the Prisma Cleavers).
Thank you!

If, the devs want, they can have some of the Tenno, maybe who were older children, have had first Generation Prime Warframes, built around them, due to how they were affected by the Void.
So that way a small number of Gen-1 Prime Warframes could have had Tenno inside them, and help deal with the Stalker, since the Orokin would not have wanted to risk the lives of the Tenno Operators, I mean the comment of the Higher Guardian comments and how Stalker could exist as an independent unit and have resentment issues against the Tenno, likely being stuck in an Orokin Lab, and then being angered when learning about what happens to the Orokin at the hands of the Tenno.
So the prototype Gen-1s could have seen little combat against the Sentients, and can help fill in the gaps to some of the back stories like Rhino P, the first Mirage, the first Limbo and so on.
Therefore, once the Orokin researchers learned more about the Void mutations and how to channel that energy, they worked to build remotely operated Warframes for Tenno to operate, that they then could have mass produced.
And then the Cephalons like Ordis carried forward that knowledge of Warframe manufacture and maintenance in supporting the Lotus when Tenno begin to reawaken.
I really like this theory.

You literally ruined it for yourself looking this up. I am so sorry you won't have the incredible experience of playing this in ignorance. It's literally one of the best pieces of storywriting in a videogame I've ever played.
I didn't believe they would come up with something like this. Before reading the transcript I dismissed the lore of this game as trivial and generic. Now I stand corrected.

I like to believe that, if Warframes were built around the essence of the childs, maybe they can retain a small degree of autonomy in extreme circumstances, kinda like Evangelions.

So we, the players, are the Operators?
-
Those children are the Operators. Is there a source that says that they are the beings refered to as "Tenno", as well?
Also, if they are the Tenno, then to whom are they sending the random comments that we see in missions after completing the quest?

I tried PMing you yesterday, but you weren't online.
Already purchased it, thanks.

Hello there!
I still haven't played trough The 2nd Dream, but I couldn't wait and have read about what happens in that quest. However, there are a few things that I still do not understand:
A Warframe is a Warframe (duh).
An Operator is a void-mutated child that survived in the abandoned ship. They "pilot" the Warframes via the Somatic Link.
Then... who or what is a Tenno? Is "Tenno" just another word for "Operator", or the Tenno and the Operator are two different entities that "pilot" each Warframe at the same time? But if the Operators send us messages, then who is the player?
Also, I remember that there was a Codex Entry (Excalibur Prime, I think) that said that, in order to fight the Sentients, the Orokin sent people to the void, and after they returned changed, they build "frames" around their vital essence, so they could control their own power. How does this piece of info can coexist with the existence of the Operators? The Warframes aren't built around the Operators themselves, then can we assume that they are built around some kind of energetic projection that came from each Operator?
And lastly, if the control comes from the Operator/Tenno, then how can the Warframes itself have personality traits?
All your input will be apreciated.

As the title says. Please leave your quotations, or contact me ingame at Antiphoton.
Thanks!

Bump.

Thanks =)
I already got a bunch of weapons to 30, a lot of good mods leveled, and my second frame is almost 30 too, so I'll just stick with this name while I farm stuff to sell for plat. It will be a nice incentive.

I created my account with a random alias just to try the game, but I didn't expect to get so hooked up. I have been playing quite a bit lately, and I regret the name I have chosen. Is there a way to change it?
Thanks in advance.
