  1. Pretty good guide, though I find it odd that you mention Perrin in the title but didn't include syndicates in the guide? Or did you mean a different Perrin?

Anyway, as ThermalStone stated above, syndicates are still the most reliable way to earn plat IMO, since it has a large catalogue of items that are always in demand, and standing is easily earned. Hunting for medallions also enables you to familiarize yourself with all the different tile sets and secrets hidden within. Should probably add it to your guide.

    Good work.

  2. I've done a few of these challenges and infested/void missions never worked for me.

The easiest method I found is to take Loki with an explosive weapon (silenced of course) to a reactor sabotage, do cold sabotage, pick a good spot and rain bombs down on the enemies.

T2 maps work best since it spawns a decent number of enemies and they don't deal too much damage to the objective. Also corpus ones seem faster because they're dumber I guess and run to melee the objective more often.

Just keep an eye on your invis duration while clinging. Hope this helps.

  3. I totally agree with TrickshotMcGee, making the raids solo-able would not have any negative impact on the game IMO. And depending on how they change the mechanics/puzzles, it would probably end up being more challenging. Even though I think the only useful arcane is victory, I'm 100% behind the idea because I'd welcome the challenge.

And also because nothing beats the smooth frame rates and the ability to pause the game in solo mode.

  4. Stealth multiplier only applies if the target dies in one shot, so low damage/high fire rate weapons would be a pain to level in exterminate. Don't play hydron so can't comment on that.

I prefer spy missions myself. The grineer ones are incredibly easy and fast once you're familiar with the layout. Plus you usually get better rewards.

  5. I have to agree with the OP here. IMO efficiency as it is now is a god stat. Streamline, fleeting and primed continuity are used in nearly all of my builds, which can be limiting, but I find that my survivability is way higher when I can spam my abilities rather than doing more damage or having longer duration. Sometimes if I'm soloing a kuva flood or sortie, I'll even wait for my Zenurik to charge up before starting the mission, which IMO is a big flaw in the system.

I'm pretty sure DE knows this as well, as all of the new warframes have some sort energy refund/regen in their abilities. Of course an easy fix would be to increase drops rates for energy orbs, but that would just be another bandaid.

Innate energy regen is the ideal solution, and the OP's suggested numbers would be a good start. I think adding a reward or bonus for not spamming would make it even better. Like if your energy is full, you get a headshot bonus or reload speed bonus or something.

  6. I just started playing Nidus, would appreciate some tips from you vets.

    1. Is range the best way to mod him? I noticed that the width of his 1 doesn't seem to increase with range, but length does? Maybe I'm too low level.

    2. Do the stacks have a duration?

    3. Do weapon kills add to the stacks?

  7. I had trouble with this part of the quest as well, until I used Frost like some people suggested here. Max efficiency and range, with enemy sense (enemies sometimes spawn behind you) and augment if you can fit them, then just camp the enemy goal once you've got a nice margin. Like Darkyan said, don't pick up the points just defend them. Also if you're back is facing the enemy goal, there's a thing behind some boxes to the left that spawn energy orbs. Or use Zenurik.

If you need help, I'll be on soon.

  8. I think it was just a case of you being unlucky this week while your friend was lucky. I'm sure the roles were reversed in the past. It all evens out over time.

If they were to make changes, I think they should just use the relic refinement system they have now. Let us use those anasa sculptures and lenses to "refine" or increase the drop chance of rare items. Say you get 10 lenses in a row, you can exchange them for a 10% increase in drop chance. Which IMO is a pretty good return for 10 days worth of poop.

Obviously there has to be caps so the system is not abused, and the drop chance for legendary cores should be unchangeable (is this a word?), as they should stay rare. This would be a nice middle ground between a token system and what we have now. And they're already using it for relics so players wouldn't have to learn a new system. Just my 2 cents.

  9. This is a little off topic, and I haven't read the whole thread so I'm not sure if someone suggested this, but wouldn't it be cool if you can join syndicate death squads as well and invade other players with them?

Like if you're aligned with red veil, you can invade someone aligned with hexis or suda. Maybe even control one of the eximus units instead of your frame?

I know this is probably never gonna happen, but the thought of using an osprey to hunt down tenno seems hilariously fun to me.

With my suggestion, you will lose 17.5% of your total energy if your build has Primed Flow, a mod that almost everybody doing sorties has. Please explain how this is a nerf of the condition.

Doesn't matter what the numbers are, if it is reduced then it's considered a nerf.

This suggestion was to keep builds without Flow mods in mind. Think about people running low energy frames like Nekros ending up with 37.5 energy.

Then replace a mod with flow in the Nekros build? Or mod for efficiency? Which was my whole point? You are given the options to tackle these conditions in many different ways, and not exploring them is your problem, not a game design issue.

Like seriously man, if you're able to do sorties, the you've probably got a pretty decent kit, so you should be able to deal with these conditions with a little creativity. This is game already easy, don't remove what little challenge we have left

  11. I disagree with this suggestion. The point of these conditions is to force players to change their tactics, and not cheese everything with ability spam on their favorite frame.

Not enough energy to cast your 4? Then mod for efficiency (which is always my priority when modding, so I never have problems with energy reduction). Or use tanky frames like Trinity or Chroma and mod for duration. Or use energy pads.

Explore other options that are available before suggesting a nerf.

  12. IMO nullifiers add an interesting layer of combat, and a few of them are easy to handle with any setup. But when the map is littered with them and there's no safe place to go, the only choice players have at that point is to cheese them (primed reach melee, Zephyr + Tonkor, Atomos, etc).

I think the drone DE added to them is a step in the right direction, but we definitely need more ways to deal with them. Some suggestions:

    - Make the drones orbit outside the bubble, like ospreys, or just expose the drone from the bubble a little more so they're easier to hit.

    - Have multiple drones (that don't scale). Killing one disables the bubble for a short time; killing all of them disables it for good.

    - Put small weak points in the bubbles that gunfire can pass through. So if you're skilled you can snipe the nullie through the bubble like a boss.

  13. I just returned to Warframe as well (after nearly 2 years), and was loving all the content I missed since I've been away.....until this quest. I just failed match 3 of the index 4 times, not because it was hard, but because of the @(*()$ stupid restriction where you have to win within a margin of 10. 580K down the drain, leaving me broke.

I play solo, and maintaining the margin was easy until round 3, when there were just too many points laying around. It ends either by them overwhelming me with numbers (and annoying CC), or I'd have to pick up the points and end up dying because I have no health.

It wouldn't be as frustrating if the cost wasn't so high, since I know I'd eventually beat it if I kept grinding (was close on the last try), but now I don't even have the credits to try again. Very disappointed in the way this quest was designed. Seriously, I was so mad I planned to start a new thread to rant about it before I found this thread. This quest really killed my motivation to continue playing. Definitely need a break for a few days. Maybe roll around in some cash so I don't feel so broke.

  14. I disagree the enemies are fine. Just learn to adapt and use different tactics.

In the situation you mentioned, you could disengage the enemies and use parkour/frame mobility abilities to move to a more advantageous position (preferably behind cover), then kill the ancient first, then the nully, then use your frame abilities to kill the rest or whatever. There are many options in every situation, you just have to explore them.

  15. Yes to all of this. Anything to improve stealth gameplay.

Don't mean to jack your thread OP but I have some ideas as well:

    1) Something like a sight line indicator for enemies would be useful. Sometimes there are enemies on the other side of a door, but you dunno if they're looking your way, so you can't approach them until they move, which is lame.

    2) A way to disable the enemy's ability to set off the alarms, maybe by breaking or pre-hacking the consoles. Limit this to only disable the alarms in that tile so it doesn't trivialize the challenge.

    3) Add some mods for stealth gameplay, like decreasing enemy detect/sight range, increase time required to set off alarms, etc. Stealth gameplay should not be limited to invis frames only.
