  1. SO, let's see what the requirements are.

    Mastery Rank 5

Big deal. Just play the game and play with the toys you want.

    Complete "The Second Dream"

Oh no, having to complete story to advance said story? Never would've thought. Everyone knew this was a story quest, which was going to require Second Dream to be completed. If this is a requirement that you're complaining about, then you have literally no excuse. Everyone's known since TWW was announced.

    Complete Sedna Junction

An understandable annoyance, as I had to complete it before TWW released, despite having Sedna unlocked. But it took all of two hours by myself, even with garbage RNG. Could have been done faster. A lot faster.

    ----

So basically, what this comes down to is you're complaining that this isn't early game content.

    You know the solution, right?

    Play the game.

  2. I remember when the Synoid Gammacor had near-infinite ammo because it could fire for a solid minute before needing to reload with its already ridiculous damage. "Broken" doesn't even begin to describe it.

  3. NeverTM

It would be nice, but hype train already derailed, went off a cliff, into another dimension and swallowed by a cosmic horror.

At this point, the content we have for U19 should just become U19, and TWW should become U20. Had it been released back in July like they originally planned, we'd be expecting U20 right around now.

  4. I find much of the Warframe community on the forums to be completely unpleasable. It's as if a majority of the people that visit the forums are vehemently opposed to change in any shape or form, and I really don't understand why. The game is constantly changing, figured people would get that by now. But, people are super offended when a change is introduced, and then within a month it seems to be forgotten.

Dunno, I think much of the Warframe community that visits the forums need to chill out rather than getting mad at every single change. I hear the subreddit is just as bad, if not worse. Sometimes the backlash is justified, DE is far from perfect, but other times it's just resilience to change. There's a reason the community isn't in charge of decision making for Warframe, because the game would have been destroyed already.

Thankfully the in-game players are nowhere near as bad.

  5. DE is growing as a company, and one thing I can respect them for is knowing when to admit their mistakes. The repeated delays with War Within has caused a lot of hype to go down the drain, hopefully this will be a huge learning experience for them.

  6. This might sound harsh, but why on earth would someone pay to re-do free content they've already done in the game before? They would likely have a mass exodus of players due to sheer stupidity and greed if they tried to pull a stunt like that.

Sorry, there's literally no scenario in which that's even remotely a good idea.

Replayable quests is already something they're planning anyway, so it'd just be pointless to add a wall like that.

I think they won't make those kind of adjusment tools, cus it just makes everything more complex and hard work. I just need them to adjust it in the right position

And not all frames, it has a quite good position on nekros and some frames, on nekros it's a bit too far from the shoulder but the height is ok. The only time it makes me disapointed is this time on nova

It's never going to happen, obviously. But they have constant issues with positioning of various cosmetics.

Because some of us want to be playing with what little time we have, and certain rush costs are ludicrous. Isn't that the point of the post in the first place. Also Warframe needs money to keep going so why try to discourage people from supporting the game by defending broken mechanics through dismissing them?

You act as if DE doesn't have money.

Rushing was never exactly a good mechanic in the first place. Spend platinum and resources on something? Awful lot of nope.

Everything required to build mutagen mass/detonite injector/fieldron/forma is relatively easy to farm. In six days of play time I have enough resources to build hundreds of each and still have plenty to burn. I would much rather get one cooking in the oven and rush it for half the market cost - or less, depending on what I'm building - than wait if I'm restricted in time.

There is a reason people rush things. And if it costs more to rush than it does to buy the item from the market, then there is a genuine issue.

Rushing is a laziness thing. And in that case, yes, it makes sense. But claiming that it's "more cost efficient" to spend both resources and platinum is, in most every case, simply not true.

Sometimes crafting+rushing is more cost-efficient than outright purchases

...I'm sorry, what? How on earth does that make any sense? If you're crafting it in the first place, you need only wait. No platinum necessary. Using resources that need not be used is never the more cost-efficient method.

Probably because you're using it wrong. :D

Build for crits, use it on semi automatic.  Used as a marksman rifle it does respectable damage with a fast rate of fire, good magazine, and no appreciable recoil. Use it like you would a Latron Prime and go for those headshots.

It's unfortunate that the game starts you off in auto mode, because auto mode is by far the weaker option on this weapon.

Not using it wrong at all. It's simply that the Latron Wraith is significantly better than Stradavar semi-auto.

It's one of those weird decisions DE made where they put it at a really high MR when its easily outclassed in both semi-auto and full-auto of lower MR.

    Not quite true.

Y'see, the funny thing about both of these is that they make great Status weapons.  Slam two dual-stat mods into the Karak?  52% status.  On a bullet by bullet basis.  Imagine Viral on that.  A 52% chance divided by four comes to 13%, bullet by bullet, to halve health.  I'd say the Karak does beat the Dera in this case, but it can still destroy high level Infested because it's high status chance and Viral damage make it that good.

And against Corpus?  Magnetic Toxin!  Halve shielding or poison them!

Grineer, you ask?  Corrosive Heat or Corrosive Cold.  Either halve armor and make them panic, or halve armor and slow them to a crawl.

They're certainly good status weapons, though there are way better.

Then why add them as a higher level content reward?

Why does the Stradavar have such a high MR when there are multiple assault rifles that surpass it by a landslide? It's DE, so it's hard to say.
