  1. I think it would be cool to pilot your ship between planets, but in reality something like that would just be fluff. I'd much prefer the effort go into expanding the actual gameplay.

Combat in the ships would take too much away from what is already there...it would be like tacking a new game on to the existing one. Awesome in theory, but just doesn't fit. Besides, have you seen the size of the Grineer and Corpus ships? It would be like attacking a Star Destroyer with the Scooty-Puff Junior.

  2. No, the real question here is "how valuable and powercreepy are primed mods? Given how valuable and powercreepy they are, is it reasonable that some players will get them for 100k credits and 25p worth of junk primes while other players will wait more than half a year or pay 600p?"

This is where the fundamental disagreement lies. My answer to this question would be: Yes, that's completely reasonable, because your game is not significantly hampered by not having them, and the only bar to entry is waiting and playing the game, which you were going to do anyway. If you want it sooner, then you are going to have to deal with the player market and cough up some plat, which is how the game works. Platinum = getting things faster. I've been playing for around 6-7 months, so I missed Primed Flow, and it looks like I'll be waiting at least another 3-4 months for it to come back (if Xbox Baro continues to follow PC). This doesn't bother me, I don't feel like I'm missing anything, nor do I feel like I'm at a huge disadvantage versus people that have it. Of course, that's just my opinion, which is what it all comes down to. I just don't think the divide between the "haves" and the "have-nots" is as wide as people make it out to be. I also happen to think making them time-limited and hard to acquire makes it more rewarding when you do finally get one.

I wouldn't tell people to "stop whining," because I think that's rude, everyone's opinion is important. Isn't it interesting, though, that people who don't have them think they should be more available, while people that do have them tend to think the price and wait were reasonable?

  3. For me it is because of a bad history with pvp in other games. In my experience, pvp is usually where you find the most toxic players and crappy attitudes. Warframe might be different, I don't know, but I don't feel like getting called a f****t by some 12-year-old for the nth time to find out.

(No insult intended to WF pvp players, that's just been my experience with several other games.)

  4. EDIT: And before anyone comes in with the generic "Just play solo/with friends!" answer, please just stop, that answer isn't helping fix these problems, we can't keep going with that answer when there are actual ways to solve these problems.

Playing solo or with friends gives the Synthesis target a near 100% survival/scan rate. Sounds like it fixes the problem to me.

  5. One of the best solo frames imo. As others have said, build for Smoke Bomb (duration + efficiency, and I like Smoke Shadow for team play) or for Bladestorm (strength + range + efficiency, and Rising Storm is pretty good as well) and you'll be set. Grab a melee weapon with Life Strike and you should be solid through most stages of the game. I've never put a forma in him, and he stays pretty relevant in a team all the way through 40 minutes in T4 (that's the furthest I've personally tested him). Can't ask for more than that out of a frame. Lastly, Ash has some serious ninja style. Definitely worth at least trying out.

  6. I wanna see Hysteria turned into something like Krieg had going on in BL2, where you were encouraged to run in swinging your arms rather than hang back and use cover and the like.

Maybe have Hysteria drain Health based on how much damage was taken, and have that lower over time, so you don't just outright die, but-Alright I am bored now.

This isn't a bad idea. Krieg was my favorite in BL2. I loved the way that to use him most effectively, you had to keep him hovering on the edge of death. It made him interesting and exciting to play. I've also proposed in other threads that a fix to Hysteria would make it so Valkyr takes her accumulated damage regardless of being around enemies when she comes out (like an actual berserker).

I like the idea of not being able to get pickups, but I think that would make a lot of people angry. I think not being able to grab pickups is one of the main beefs people have with Limbo.

I play Valkyr built around Warcry/Eternal War, and basically use Hysteria as a panic button or to rez allies, and she feels really well-balanced that way. However, Hysteria is very easily abused now. Idk, I say just play the way you want, and let people abuse her if they want. I just don't want to see her become bad or screwed up because of a bunch of nerfs/changes.

  7. Were the other statues from the company sent out in bad shape too? Just curious because I'm definitely getting Loki O_O

I missed out on the Excal statue (boo), but the Rhino statue is a lot more solid, and better looking overall imo.

  8. The only issue I had with mine was the foot pin was a liitle messed up and the Orthos was a bit warped. I was able to straighten the Orthos out with a little gentle bending, but she's still kind of unstable on the base (I was planning to use a little modeling clay to fix it). I didn't give the paint a very close inspection, though...now I think I will. I will admit, it does look a bit less awesome than in the ads...like someone above said, looks more like a mass-produced figure than a limited edition hand-painted one. Bummer.

  9. "Mesa sucks."

"No she doesn't, and here's why."

    "Troll."

Seriously though, try building around her whole kit. She's really awesome (not to mention a powerhouse). When I get home, I'll post a couple of my builds to give you some ideas, if you like.

  10. I like the idea of training your Kubrow against a certain enemy. Like codex scanning, once your Kubrow has killed X number of an enemy, he gets a bonus against that enemy in the future. Maybe each Kubrow could have a limited number of "favored enemy" spots. This would would make it so part of raising a Kubrow would be taking him on specific runs to lock in the enemies you want (almost like, you know, training a dog). Since the Kubrow does it passively, it would be entirely optional (I.e. training your Kubrow to hate Lancers would be easy peasy, whereas training them to hate Bombards would be a difficult, but ultimately rewarding task.) You could even increase their aggression against that enemy type, so they prioritize their favored enemy in a group.

I also think your idea of crafting treats that give them some kind of temporary ability is a really cool one.

  11. Please post pictures of the miniatures when you have them! (Never played the game, but I have a few friends that play, and I dig all the different figures and like to help paint them.)

  12. In my opinion, the way to balance it out would be to have Valkyr take all that accumulated damage when she comes out of hysteria, regardless of there being enemies within her range. I mean, isn't that the principle of the berserker anyway? Not invincible, just able to ignore pain for long periods, and it catches up. Maybe a heavier energy drain whenever she's not in range of enemies. That way, hysteria is best used in small doses and could even result in death.

  13. Exactly why I don't give new players things anymore. Being cursed at by kids for not being Santa Claus can get to you after the nth time it happens. Now when people ask me if I can give them a prime part or weapon part, I just say, "No, but I'd be glad to help you get it yourself." Tell them where to find it, and even join the mission/offer up my own keys to help. Even then, some people just don't want to hear it.

That being said, these entitled players are few and far between, and I imagine many of them don't play the game for too long, so better to just ignore them and move on.

  14. Notice how many anti-Kubrow posters have an extreme bias against them. This causes them to greatly exaggerate kubrow flaws, while ignoring any sentinel short comings.

    It's called "insecurity".

In any case, Carrier will get you through loads of the game as a new player with good utility, solid damage, and virtually no upkeep. However, once you have the right mods ranked up and a few forma in, Kubrows really begin to shine. It's true their A.I./pathfinding needs work, but overall, putting the effort, time, and resources into a Kubrow is extremely rewarding (especially at higher levels where their higher durability becomes a factor).

I think the overwhelming support for sentinels and Carrier in particular comes from the fact that few people give their Kubrow a real chance. A 0-forma Kubrow with only 3-4 decent mods is absolutely inferior to other companions. They take lots of effort.

At the end of the day, it comes down to preference. Check out the sentinels, put a few forma into your Kubrow (Chesa is awesome, btw), and figure out which one you like the most. There is no "best," just whatever suits your playstyle.

Also, keep in mind...Katbrows are inbound.

  15. yea relay was a bad idea

    i wasn't thinking

but don't compare this with other games  i love this game and i want it to grow

about tile sets , look u could have many different types of floors but the way to acess them remains "normal" like stairs and elevators

sure i could jump and air-roll but that's just a flashy way to get up

i can't explain it exactly because i feel that all this is , is generically created maps with enemies

maybe i am not into it anymore idk?

Keep in mind many tiles were designed prior to Parkour 2.0, when movement was a lot less fluid, and vertical movement in particular was difficult for many frames.
