  1. I love the constant feedback and interaction from the developers. You really feel like they care about the game and its players, both paying and free. There's a constant evolution, and the game feels very alive.

The other thing I love is the community: I haven't played many MMOs, so I don't have a large basis for comparison, but nearly every interaction I've had with other players has been cordial and pleasant. When I first started, people were all too happy to show me the ropes and answer all my questions. I've made dozens of friends since I started. It's also great to see all the creative stuff they come up with in the forums. I swear a lot of the people who post here should be game/art designers themselves (and they do it just for the love!)

Oh, and the game itself is pretty fun too, I guess. :P

  2. Does seeing my own count? I use both. I've seen quite a few Kubrows, but none with the armor (hard to tell the colors if you're not looking/paying attention).

I put her in more flat colors because of the leathery texture of the armor (also to match my frame). Excuse the graphics, I'm a filthy console peasant:

(Hard to get her to sit still, she's a Chesa):

I've not super stoked on the rings/metal parts, but I haven't found anything I like better yet.

  3. Here's how I like building it:

    1-Serration

    2-Split Chamber

    3-Point Strike

    4-Vital Sense

    5-Element 1

    6-Element 2

7-8-Personal preference. I'd recommend picking from Heavy Caliber, Rifle Ammo Mutation, Sinister Reach, Hammer Shot, or a third Element. Depends on what you're going up against. All together, it will take 5-6 forma to pack it all in, but it's worth it.

Also, this thing is an ammo hog, so be prepared in endless missions with ammo mutation or ammo restores.

  4. This may be a stupid question, but does it make a difference which slot the Dig precept is in, the way it does for sentinels? Maybe moving it around may change things up. As a side note, I haven't played with Sahasa much, but I play with Chesa a lot,and I've seen her running around picking stuff up even with enemies on the screen.

  5. Early on, build around Iron Skin, because it will make you essentially invincible against enemies up to the 20-30 level range. Later, when Iron Skin becomes less effective, I like to build around Roar, become a team buffing machine. I personally like Ironclad Charge; if timed and aimed right, you can get ridiculous levels of armor (maybe not Chroma levels of ridiculous, but still).

P.S. Don't apologize for playing Rhino, he's freaking awesome. Haters gonna hate, just play whatever frame you have the most fun with.

  6. Having a faster way to scan would be great. As it stands, the thing I hate abput scanning the most is having to call up the gear menu and put it on, then call it again every time I want to use a trap. Hoping that there's no enemies around to take advantage of your disarmed state, or that you can get the scan before a troll or new player can kill the target.

If it was a quicker and smoother process, I would love synthesis scanning. The way it is now, though, I just get my 10 and forget about it. I would love to be able to bind scanning to a specific button as Dartiel suggested.

  7. MY biggest problem is with the primed mods. It's power-creep, nothing more, nothing less. I really don't care all that much about the prisma guns or aesthetic things. Heck, if it weren't for the primed mods, I MIGHT just buy some of that stuff...but any vendor supporting this slow power creep is on my blacklist.

I'm sure Baro is very troubled by this.

But seriously, I don't think it really qualifies as power creep. First of all, primed mods aren't gigantic increases in power; it's not like having them suddenly makes you capable of doing more in game or giving you access to areas people without them can't go. It's just min/maxing really. Combine that with the enormous resource cost to obtain the mod and level it up (yikes), it's pretty balanced. They're more like end-game mods for high level/veteran players.

Now, if we suddenly start seeing "Epic Prisma Primed Point Blank" or some other such nonsense (ie mods that trump the primed ones) then you might have a point.
