  1. Er, if I'm not wrong, all (player) damage dealt to a mind-controlled enemy sort of stores and detonates at the end of the ability.

Usually I just MC, shoot the ancient or whatever a bit in the knee, and do my own thing.

Mind-controlled targets are immune to damage as of Update 15.2. Damage dealt to them while the ability is active will be accumulated and then dealt to the enemy once the ability ends.

  2. i also have had to report MANY public players for this but.... this meter seems a bad idea, i would recommend just a vote and kick system over anything like that, cuz... if you need to pee or summin... more than 3 mins and get booted? seems harsh....

Just give a vote kick, or ability for host to kick peeps but, with a reason box that gets sent to DE to be reveiwed and maybe gaining in warning points?

Leeches, scammers, deliberate mission wrecking, all that cr@p destroys this game.

    Pssst

    Look here

I think a combination of these ideas is the most eloquent.

You have an inactivity meter that fills up as you are afk. Maybe at 3 minutes it is completely full and this inactivity is displayed on other player's screens (as a "..." next to the player's name). Once your afk meter is full, you are eligible for a vote-kick.

This prevents players from kicking anyone that is *not* afk just to be jerks, and it also prevents you from being d/c'd automatically because you had to take a long bathroom break.

If it were me, as long as the party member said "have to answer the phone" or something, I wouldn't votekick even if their afk meter filled up.

  3. I.. honestly don't understand you.

Why would you scream "NERF" at Saryn, of all the frames? She's one of the lesser used frames, along with Mag and Banshee.

By your logic, Valkyr also needs to be nerfed, cause oh no, her ult is also so OP without forma

    SERIOUSLY.

  4. I wish trading never became a thing, honestly. The community has become so spoiled because of it. It's sickening.

    I don't think it's a bad thing.

Hey, gifting mods and such to new players and friends is never a bad thing.

Also, I managed to trade away Voltaic Strike + 10p for a High Voltage (Something I have been looking for FOREVER)

Yes, part of the community has been spoilt, but why would I let them tarnish a good thing?

  5. people already complain about noobs trading for rhino and boltor prime and being terrible as a result of it. these are top tweir secondaries being traded. you don't see that as a balance issue at all?

As I see it, new players getting their hands on Rhino isn't a bad thing. It's a sturdy, easy-to-pick-up frame that they can bring along to slightly tougher missions.

My new clanmates have several frames, but if we're going to something more difficult than average, he will bring his Rhino. That way, he won't die as often and carrying is a lot simpler.

As for the Boltor Prime, yes, it's a crutch and I think it should be MR locked just like the Soma, but they HAVE to pick up other weapons in the end, don't they? Balance issue is simply players never learning to get decent at the game. That cannot be solved even if we lock all the top tier weapons. Hell, look at MR15 players that STILL don't know how to play

  6. you shouldn't farm every single syndicate, infact you should be permanently locked out f one after you get to there second teir of anger. you should choose 2 and go with it.

    That's extremely disappointing.

You see, I would at least accept your point if you weren't advocating for no-trading of Syndicate weapons.

    So let's see.

You're in the Red Veil, you're locked against ever farming with the Arbiters.

One day, you want to get yourself some Arbiter mods/weapons

Well, TOUGH S#&$ NO COOKIES FOR YOU, FOREVER.

How is that a good thing, ever?

  7. how? you shouldn't choose a syndicate by it's current gear, you should choose it by the aesthetics, it was clear when syndicates came out that more would come.  hell i get the freaking rakta Ballistica, the worst of the weapons, i still get &!$$ed when i see a Arbiter running around with it.

Solution : Don't get pissed. He's just a guy that either farmed the heck out of both syndicates or traded for it. Why is it such a huge deal for you, however?
