I don't agree with the increased recoil. Using Shred or a different fire rate mod, you can shoot fast enough where higher recoil would quickly become disorienting in semi-auto mode. Besides, a niche of a higher-damage, high-recoil semi-auto is already covered by the Latron Prime, which isn't harmed as much due to its lower fire rate.

Though yes, I absolutely agree that semi-auto should have 10% status and auto should have 20-25%. Auto has more chances to proc and can be sprayed across a crowd, which would make it a suitable status sprayer, as well as offering flexibility for which way to build the weapon.

(Random aside: a possible Stradavar Prime should totally not have that jamming mechanic in semi-auto. That is such a buzzkill, and a weapon of better Orokin craftsmanship should do away with the fault.)

My only justification for increasing the recoil of the semi-auto mode was because of the higher damage per shot.  The way I was picturing the rifle in my head as one that had low accuracy and damage, but high status chance and rate of fire in full auto mode; high damage and critical chance, but low fire rate and high recoil in semi-auto mode.  The jamming mechanic does suffice as a reason to aim your shots well when in semi-auto mode, rather than implementing a higher recoil.

  2. I was disappointed in the Stradavar.  I loved the idea of rifle that could change from full auto to semi-auto and have its stats change between the two modes.  But then it turned out that there was not much of a reason to use full auto; as semi-auto gives you increased damage, crit. chance, and status chance.  I wish full auto mode had the greater status chance, rather than semi-auto mode.

  3. I would suggest Oberon.

    • Smite can be augmented to add radiation to your allies' attacks.
    • Hallowed Ground is an area of effect that can remove existing status effects and give bonus armor to allies.
    • Renewal is a heal over time for allies that can be augmented to heal allies when they take fatal damage.
    • Reckoning is an area of effect that damages enemies and has a chance to cause enemies to spawn a health orb when they die.  It can be augmented to cause killed enemies to spawn a Hallowed Ground field.

There also wasn't mention of bandanas, T-shirts, Emblems or Sigils for Founders in the original description of the Founders' Packs.  Do you want a chance at the Founders' Sigils too?

I don't actually think a Founders exclusive Relay is a good idea.  It has a very limited target market so will give little return of investment, especialy if you consider that Master and Grand Master level Founders have access to the Design Council chat channel anyway so I suspect most of them will converse with Founders through that while in any mission or Relay or on their Liset, rather than hanging out in a specific Relay.

Going to get P2W accusations that way...

I agree.  I see this doing nothing healthy for the game or the player base.  Why would DE put this in the game, other than to alienate players?

    Hi there,

So, I'm really-really close to MR20, if I rank up my new gear I'll reach it today, so I wanted to practice the rankup test in Simaris' room.

I need your help, fellow Tenno. This test is literally impossible for me.

I got some "try practicing more in Simaris' room" advices from Guides of The Lotus in chat, but is that really the issue?

The problem is that the time is too short. HOWEVER, I don't waste it by trying to fit in a specific ring for a long time, the time simply disappears between two rings. I can't even get near the next one before the timer expires.

Is the given time actually correct? Is it 100% certain that the test is not bugged? Is it sure that the timer doesn't count the time Lotus takes away from my life by talking about the task?

I mean, I'm literally trying with Itzal and a rank 9 Hyperion Thrusters mod. That's supposed to be relatively fast I guess. But I still can't get near the next ring. I tried choosing the side ones, but then again, I can't get back to the big, center ones since it gives 2 seconds.

    What am I doing wrong?

You do not need to get through all the rings.  You just need to get through the last ring before time expires.

I built my Iztal to focus on speed and power range and power efficiency.  This was after Archwing controls were updated, but before the MR20 test was adjusted for the changes.  While the Lotus was doing her voice-over, I dropped some energy restore.  Once the timer started, I spammed blink to get to the end.

Actually. . . that gives me a thought. What if the frame had no real health or shields, just. . . energy? The one massive but essential resource it has in order to keep it alive is to keep it's energy topped off. The small abilities might only reduce the energy bar over time, but, the big ones might require HUGE hunks of the bar in order to function. Oh gawd, think of the disrupter madness! Almost Inaros esque, but sooooo much different.

Hmm...It's an idea.  The only issue I could see, is how do enemies damage the frame?  Having no health could also cause problems with the game's mechanics.  The way I interpret it, health is a core mechanic used to determine if a character is "alive" or not.

It's a tad bit. . . bare bones for my taste. Not saying that you should kill the user with endless factoids and game-esque statistics like I did with my girl Feynman, but, something more then just that one line would be nice. If it were me (which you are more then likely not), I'd try to craft a plasma frame outta this. A mixed blending of electrical and fire abilities without the radiation result coming out the other end. Neon is, after all, a component in some plasma lights, photon emitters, and television screens. Just my two cents on the matter.

Hmm...so maybe a frame with lots of shields and energy.  But not a lot of health and/or armor.  Sort of like a glass cannon?

even better or better yet it causes a small radial blind when the shield is broken

And boosts shield recharge rate, or decreases the time it takes for your shields to start recharging.

ooh I just thought about another ability like placing a shield of light over an ally that either drains photons like what Aniawn said but it either gives energy or health back when near light sources

How about it causes a radial blind when you are struck by melee?  Like when a light bulb explodes.

  10. Could we get the option to have one of our sentinels always be visible in the orbiter, even when they are not our companion for our current loadout?  This could then result in random interactions between our sentinels and our kavats and kubrows (e.g. kavats pawing at Diriga's cables, Helios playing fetch with kubrows, or kavats and kubrows reacting aggressively to sentinels equipped with the Hunhow mask).

Lore would be great! Rewards would be really nice too! The game is loot driven. Challenging? Bullet sponges and one shots aren't challenging. I want to see better AI but thats a whole different bag. I honestly dont have the solution, if i did I'd probably be making video games for a living. But right now, theres zero reason for me, a veteran, to play sorties, other then *possibly* endo or xp in the rare occurence of eximus SH endless mission to get useless focus for a forgotten system.

I very much agree lore would be great.  I would love to see more character specific lore.  For rewards, how about new exclusive items such as sigils, emblems, weapons, and warframes?  Items that veterans do not already have from previous operations.

Hi. I'm a veteran player. When will i get a reason to play the sorties? You know, the system that was added for players like me.

What is it about the sorties that causes you to not want to play them?  Are they not challenging?  Are you not satisfied with the rewards?  Do you want them to provide some lore to the game?

hello ive been contemplating trading in my xb1 for the new Xbox 1 S

    whats the performance difference?

and im wondering if migration will be an easy thing , or if there is anything i should know ahead of time

    thank you for your time

The performance difference is minor.  Migration should not be too difficult.  If you are connected to the internet, your game saves should just copy over from the cloud storage.  Make sure you remove your current Xbox One as your home console before you trade it in.  For games that you downloaded, I would recommend using an external hard drive to transfer them to the new console.

I'm trying to decide if I should buy the frame or farm it. I plan on doing the quest so if this plays a factor, in regards to farming Titania, please answer as spoiler free as possible. Searching online has lead me to believe that farming Titania requires plant scanning, despite Titania's wiki not mentioning this (I have not read the quest link in order to avoid spoilers). How does plant scanning play a factor in this process, roughly how many plant scans are required, can Helios scan plants, and how bad/long is the grind? Am I completely off on the plant scanning? Is there a different way to farm her component bps? In short, is this a "normal" amount of grind or more of a "tedious/larger" amount of grind (like scanning Kavat codes) compared to most frames?

You get her parts as you complete each part of the quest, similar to the Sands of Inaros quest.  Yes there is plant scanning; but that just applies to the quest only.

2nd. a widget that increase the "afterglow" time of scannable objects/enemies when releasing the scanner or its zoom-function to a few more seconds.

What if instead of the "afterglow" lasting longer, the rate at which the objects are "pinged" is increased?
