Yup but the issue is that there is a weird thing, we all have ordis - and lore-wise there can only be one beast of bones. Ordis only cares about the operator, freeing the solar system from whatever is not something he would do as it would endanger the operator.

We just need a quest to man up ordis, with really a fton of new lines because we hear him every time we return to the orbiter. So increasing the number of lines by roughly 100 is something that should be done.

The Corpus are known to copy cephalons, so who's to say that ours can't be duplicated, too?

If Ballas betrayed them then who would help them regenerate, as the younger grineer queen is trying to do with her sister? The Dax only follow orders. If they all die who is there to order that the Dax bring new bodies, kuva, and misc. required materials? The moment the leadership fell the Empire probably imploded with rebellion, including forces like the Grineer, powerful individuals who thought similarly to Ordan Karis, and the many vengeful peoples used for yuvans (remember Baro's origin story). Ballas, working with the sentients, would have likely disabled any backups the council had to quickly revive themselves.

Ballas on the other hand has a powerful sentient on his side who knows how to reanimate a human corpse (somehow). You really think he's gone for good?

I don't really recall where Hunhow had a way to revive the dead, but that would maybe make it possible. If he just croaked under that tree like roadkill, I don't expect him to be able to undergo Continuity, my point being that it was a process they used to PREVENT death, not return FROM it.

I'm curious as to where they mention Hunhow reviving corpses though.

His Yuvan host may have died... but not Ballas. They're immortal parasite gods.

Continuity is a process that transfers a consciousness from one body to another, as far as we've been told.

Besides, if Ballas, only an Executor, is immortal, where are the council?

On the ninth beat of the Naga drums, blood. On the tenth, the bodies fell. The Orokin intended to preside over an execution, but they never expected it to be their own.

Just cause we get a Teshin statue doesn't mean he was the one shoved in to the frame. There were many DAX, Even Ordis was one.

Ordis wasn't a Dax, if he were he would have been entirely unable to even try an attack on the Orokin.

He was a bounty hunter who was captured and shoved into a data form.

"But you have never had to sacrifice your love for faith. Imagine. To live, forever, with only one memory: seeing the one you love, die. But you won't have to imagine..." -Ballas

He let Umbra feel this pain by forcing him to go through a similar ordeal. Both Umbra and Ballas wanted to save their loved one, but they were powerless to do so. When Ballas was reunited with Margulis (really Lotus?), he finally forgives Umbra and puts him out of his misery.

MARGULIS WAS THE SACRIFICE. Ballas's sacrifice. Umbra was created to be a living embodiment of Ballas' pain.

So essentially, "The Sacrifice" was just more of Ballas being an A******.

Ballas, the hype machine himself, who ended up just being a normal dude, dying to a ruptured kidney.

"The Sacrifice" was a false mystery, they already gave us the answer, and asked the question later.

Maybe Mr. Executor could have saved his lady friend and bailed instead of being a douchecanoe, and this whole thing could have been avoided.

  6. I'm still kind of confused as to what "the sacrifice" was?

Ballas gets to knock off an enemy, kill his family, force him to endure the memory of it over and over again, and get s a shiny new toy out of the deal.

Unnamed Dax just gets screwed over a whole bunch.

So... Who was sacrificing something here? Looks like all wins on one side and all losses on the other.

What are warframes? I've spoiled myself on the sacrifice quest but didn't see anything about what general warframes are...enlighten me!

Sorry, unless I missed something Ballas explicitly states that Warframes as a whole are Dax soldiers forced into Helminth infested systems and grown into perfect soldiers. That's it.

  8. The only thing this answers is the question of what warframes are, and anyone who was paying attention already knew. The big villain was a terrible let-down, nothing more than a few trash mobs and that's it? GG? Nothing new to do after finishing the quest? Just wait until a month after Tennocon for the Venus update and hope that isn't another disaster like PoE I guess.

  9. So, I really enjoy the weapons and abilities in Warframe, and the movement system. I want reasons to play this game again,

For months, we've heard "We want your feedback!" and "We're developing this for veteran players!" and "We're going to bring you the endgame you've been asking for!"

    Okay, where is it?

All I see is a glorified exterminate with a timer, where enemies just stop spawning while the most obnoxious, unfriendly character in the game whines that I'm not doing well enough for his liking, only to get a maximum rank score and receive some junk as a reward. I was worried when, after the reveal stream, a week before the mode launched, Rebecca went on stream with a partnered player and talked about how they had no idea what rewards they were putting into the mode, and my worries seem to have been pretty spot on.

    We get:

    • The return of some mastery fodder
    • Relics we don't have to farm traces for
    • An insulting, useless mod
    • Pitiful amounts of Endo
    • Blueprints for a frame that's been cut off at the knees

    Speaking of Khora, her abilities:

    1. Gara's Shattered Lash, but worse
    2. Inaros's Scarab Swarm, but worse
    3. Her only interesting ability, Venari, who relies on companion AI, which is awful, and so this cat spends most of its time doing nothing.
    4. A placeholder. They needed something to replace her whip, and fast, so they reused assets and coding from Ensnare to make a dome.

I'm not sure what feedback you were listening to, it wasn't anything I was reading, or saying, or hearing from community partners.

This update, all-in-all, was kind of a joke. Releasing it on Friday so the game can be a barely playable mess all weekend was a lovely choice, too. Of course, that was also expected, considering every content release is set for mid-week, pushed back to Friday, and full of crashes and soft-locks.

  10. Okay, so...

They gave her Gara's Shattered Lash, but it's weaker.

They gave her Inaros's Scarab Swarm, but it's weaker.

They gave her a summonable cat, but it stands around licking itself or supermanning in place like any other cat.

They gave her Ensnare again, but it's worse than the one on her 2.

They gave her Vauban's passive, but weaker.

There's some weight to be put on Chromas... to put it simply, anyone with a Lanka can take out the Eidolon in very few shots, specially a Volt, if the Chroma can't pretty much one shot the weak spots once they're enabled, then don't play it, because he's not being useful at all and it would have been better another support frame... People like to pick Chroma because of his damage popularity, they think playing Chroma makes them the team's carry by default, but it's actually very demanding, you're not simply gonna kick ass because you picked him.

You don't even have to be the one firing anymore, just around in the right place and you're contributing the huge damage buff.

It best to update on monday onward.. I rather use my saturday doing farming and most possible saturday is overload too much and server down again

Truth. I'd rather have a stable launch early in the week with the team readily available and rested for hotfixes, and a nice clean weekend following.

pls be patient.. pls pls pls

I would much rather wait longer than have a bug storm hotfix riddled weekend. They deserve to chill a bit after the release, enjoy a weekend to play what they've given us, not scramble back to the office in a rush to get some weird spaghetti code bug fixed.
