  1. You can't compare it to COD or Battlefield because it isnt a FPS and that isn't the goal, and about Destiny most would say Warframe is better so why are we saying it should be more like destiny? Warframe's variety is what makes it great; when they run out of ideas then yes they should stop, but just because you think "it is too many" is no reason.

  2. They would have to go and create a value within a pickup that changes depending on a separate meter when attempting to be picked up, and determine whether it will persist in the world or not. Not only will this be inconsistent with any other pickup in the game, but it's not really needed enough to be worth the work to implement it.

    1) that is not the way they would calculate it

    2) this isnt a complex calculation

    3) this would not take a long time to code, again it is not a complex calculation it is just a subtraction from an independent (they are already inconsistent because they aren't the same per player)

  3. We have all had that moment where there is one energy orb around and your energy is at 145 out of 150, so you pick it up, cast your powers, but now you are out of energy again, and you think "wow" if only that energy orb only gave me enough of the 25 energy it holds to fill my meter and kept the rest for when i needed it. In that example the energy orb would give 5 of its 25 and be left with the other 20 energy to disperse later.

So when you run over an energy orb it will only dispense enough energy to fill your bar and with retain the rest for when you need it later; this way you are not wasting 25 energy to fill a bar that is 199 out of 200.

As well the more energy you take from an energy orb the smaller it gets, this way you can tell if it has the full 25 energy or less.

This wouldn't be a huge change but I think it would make a nice quality of life change for picking up energy.

reading the replies I: over energy would not be a thing, this is just so it doesnt waste energy such as like someone said when carrier pulls everything to you for 2 energy and wastes 3 orbs

  4. Yes of course.

The community doesn't want the void-trader to be non-existant, people want him to actually have stock that is worth the effort of acquiring ducats to spend on them. Something that whoever is responsible for this seem to be unable to understand.

guess what, the worth of the items he has is the exact amount of ducats it is priced at. Who has a better understanding of the game, the people that made it or the guy who just wants to be OP?

  5.     So the DEVs have said they didn't want to just put umbra in without any backstory, but I feel they have a great opportunity right now to make a leap in lore that will allow umbras.

Since on PC we just had the shadow debt operation, and that was stalker followers that were angry that he was killed, perhaps these weren't followers as much as drones. Since Stalker was orokin he might have had access to the same technology that allowed the orokin towers to make invaders into protectors which he used to make "stalker corrupted:. Perhaps Stalker or his followers adapted this technology to affect tenno or warframes, thus resulting in the umbra version of warframes.

  6. As cool as this seems at first... I then remembered that Volt can do the same thing but isn't limited to 3 shields and gives you a damage boost while keeping you safe.

I suppose this is good for protecting against melee enemies?

Atlas' rockwall doesnt have a timer, it is health based, less recasting

  7. Where did DE Glenn go? He used to be on the dev stream but he has been out of sight or earshot. You ok Glenn? You wanna talk about it ;_;? I think to make this up the next dev stream should purely be DE Glenn, and only DE Glenn. Like no talking just him meditating with a flask in one hand and a skana in the other. Anyone know if he is ok or how to make this happen?

  8. Well look at things like ash. He has that vomitcam bladestorm stuff, so I actually don't think that the game will be impossible to code in for the inversion of the player's model and camera.

That's not how coding works so don't pretend like it is. Ash is different code from your one because it is just a cinematic, and incase you never actually used Ash's blade storm it glitches ALOT. Just imagine a more difficult version of that while moving. Almost impossible to code.

  9. @ thirtieth king What kind of kubrow are you bringing? even my weakest kubrow only went down twice in the sortie defense mission. and it was the one that works like carrier, meaning it had no defensive abilities

Huras, because that keeps you alive. When I said level 100 I didn't mean in the sorties. When going on long runs huras provides a certain amount of mobility to tap and revive when invisible, but it gets annoying when it runs out for no reason and dies even though it is buffed by so many mods, and there is nothing you can do about it.

  10.    This was just something I was wondering about. So Kebrows have survivability mods you can put on them, but even with them all they still can only take so much damage. What if there was a mod that increased kebrow agility/ speed so that they would avoid more bullets/ damage, kinda like enemies have worse accuracy towards a player while gliding. Would anyone else like this mod?

  11. Can I make a suggestion? to make these abilities work well together in the confinement of the theme then i think the abilities should go as followed,

    1) sacrificial blade - He stabs himself (your idea), not downing himself permanently but for x amount of seconds, here positive duration will actually shorten the timer. during this time, allies as well as himself, have a health regen and a over shield bonus

    2) final strike  - minimizes health but maximizes shields and armour (this does not count as a percent in his 4) (shields and armour stack per second and increases rate when damaged, after being turned off he keeps the shields as over shields and the amour slowly deteriorates.

    3) human shield - he acts as a shield, funneling % of their incoming damage to him (scales with power strength) (he does not make a physical shield, he can still shoot and such but mathematically a % of their damage is instead focused on him as a lessened amount.)

    4) vicarious pain - the percent of health he has taken away results in a percent of health (not armour or shields) taken away from the enemy.

this is really a complete rework, and i think accomplishes the main goal of having him sacrifice himself without permanently being taken out of the fight, but more impaired.

The way this could synergies is you could cast your 2 and once you have built up enough armour turn it off and activate his 3 helping allies. once close to death have a chance to hit 1 and heal up as well as allies. finally, for a unique damage dealer (that is probably to OP and needs to be scaled back) he deals a percent of health damage based on his current health in portion to how much of it was lost.

tell me what you think, again don't mean to bulldoze your idea but these may provide sacrificial powers that don't result in permanent consequences.

  12. It is your right? Because you decided to get a bunch of people that don't play that means that you get privileges? It shouldn't be a breeze for anybody, especially a clan as big as yours. Oh and nice job bragging about your statistics. Dude, I do not disagree with the fact that the amount of Nitain you must get is absurd, I argue with your reasoning. You shouldn't get special treatment for being large nor should your inactives be spared. More so, the game should measure the number of active members and base off of that, or ya know kick all inactives.

  13. OP, you are just not taking the feedback well. First, none of the abilities really have synergy, which is something most players have been craving. Second, what is the point of downing yourself to "massively buff" allies when other frames can do just as good a job and you don't have to go down?

  14. To OP, it doesn't matter if he is meant to be a late to end game frame, that has nothing to do with his base stats or his abilities. Ability to go endgame is based on the usefulness of the powers not the base states of the frames. Banshee sonar is more endgame than almost anything but she has one of the lowest, if not the lowest effective health and powers in the game. To go endgame you should not rely on health or shields (by level 400 they one shot you no matter what anyways). Also most of his abilities seem to do too much, and definitely deal to much damage. His alte is just a press 4 to win, no matter casting time or energy cost.

  15. I don't agree. I think Banshee is top tier the way she is, but is also harder to use. Her abilities are good while not being over powered. That is more than I can say for most frames. Though I do agree I almost never find myself sound quaking, but there is a place for it. I don't think she needs a dire rework, maybe just a little tweaking.
