This gets beaten to death but it has to be said to clear the air: Warframe is a PvE game, that's its core audience, and so Warframe's reasons for not being an industry leader lie primarily in PvE issues. Stephen King isn't a successful author because he writes romance novels on the side (which AFAIK he doesn't), he's a successful author because his novels cater to a particular audience and do so with a good degree of quality. Indeed, it'd be remiss to suggest he'd be a better author if he branched out. Warframe, and indeed many similar ventures, aren't different: it all comes down to finding the target audience, catering to them, and not buggering it up. PvP doesn't cater to Warframe's target audience.

To reiterate: Warframe wouldn't be better with PvP. It could be done in a way that doesn't make it worse, such as variant modes that pretty much handle themselves, but time spent on PvP isn't going to magically bolster the game to some god-tier status, unless the PvP crowd is the audience DE wants to attract. Given the current direction of the game, that's unlikely.

Warframe is a PVE game and the audience loves its PVE but that doesn't mean that it couldn't and shouldn't try to get a better PvP ( Stephen King is not a successful author because he writes romance novels in his spare time but who tells you he wouldn't be good at writing them or that he wouldn't get more appreciated ? He's still an excellent writer after all ; sure , it would take him time to get known in that new kind of enviroment but if he's willing to give it a try... ~ ) .
I find it to be preposterous to say that PvP wouldn't cater to Warframe's audience given the fact that the community is formed by extremely various people with very different tastes and that many of them did feel like giving conclave a try in the past , only to get discouraged by its status .
Besides...catering to both the PVE audience and to the PvP audience ( provided they both get the necessary attention ) would in the end prove more beneficial for the game than just paying attention to one of the two parts of the community ( even though it's the largest and everyone's aware of that ) .

Warframe would be better with a good PvP system , this game's an ever growing and ever changing one , it would certainly draw in more people who are interested even in that kind of content . Then again , PvP is not that one single thing that would change the state of the game , at least as things currently are .

The major problem is that we have game modes right now that are entirely abandoned. One of which is a literal CTF. Variants, like the Dog Days event or the Opticor-only event, are likely just fine and often called for (due, in part I think, to the ability to just pick up and play: no loadout fuss, no modding, just go). But full-fledged modes like King of the Hill seem likely to go the way of Capture the Cephalon and Lunaro: they might seem enticing, but for most players...they're not.

K-Drive races would likely be underused, but not wholly unwelcome I think, and decently easy to implement.

Rebalancing for Railjack / Archwing seems like a headache waiting to happen for something generally not-well-desired (the Venn diagram of PvP-loving players and Railjack-loving players doesn't have the biggest overlap in the world, especially if Archwing's reception is anything to go by...).

BR modes have been proposed a lot. They've been shot down pretty much every single time for various reasons, such as a lack of playerbase to facilitate a BR mode even on a good day. (It's frequent enough to go several minutes not even seeing other players in regular Conclave maps. Expand that to the size of Fortuna.) Believe me when I say that the vast majority of players who like PvP do not want a BR mode.

"Departments accidentally fighting each other" sounds like a mess, but I'm also not 100% sure what you're talking about.

    More details definitely required.

The only reason as to why I believe they do not look enticing to the players is due to the current status of Conclave ( dead and abandoned game mode which does not really provide such amazing rewards , in which getting mods can prove annoying , in which bullet jumping is abused to the moon and beyond up to the point in which a conclave match basically feels like watching a pack of crickets shooting with guns , where there's so many weapons and frames available to pick that balance isn't really a thing , ecc ) ; if Conclave were to be reworked completely then who knows what might happen ? Might get a little bit more lively in there .

K-Drives need a whole rework too . I don't want archwings to be nerfed in favor of K-Drives cause it'd be ridiculous for them to be slower than space skateboards but at the same time K-Drives need a boost in their utility that actually encourages the people to use them.
As for the races...it wouldn't be a bad idea as long as the rewards are actually going to be worth it ( that's honestly one of the biggest drives of the community as a whole , you may not like mining and fishing and grinding for Fortuna / Cetus standing but you want those Kitguns and Zaws so you are gonna do it eventually . Give races or conclave something just as good albeit different and the people will try them out ) .

Archwings and railjacks need rebalancing and a whole rework ( again... ) ; their concept isn't bad at all but it's poorly executed and sometimes I see DE actually taking steps backwards when it comes to archwings rather than developing them more .

As to how I'd rework conclave itself I'd make it be more similar to Halo 2's multiplayer . Frames are only there for aesthetics , they are all gonna have the same stats and abilities are gonna be disabled ( or as an alternative just a few "conclave only" frames would be available with their relative abilities to make balancing be easier ) , only a handful of weapons would be available for use ( I'd say 20 as it's an easy enough number to provide variety while at the same time allowing for an easier time when it comes to balancing stuff . More weapons could then be introduced by rotating what can be used every "x" months ) , modding should not be a thing in conclave as it'd make balancing become much harder or at least it should require a lot  of attention from the developers .
I am not sure whether everyone should be starting with the same weapon and find the others around the map or if loadouts could just be left as they are .
Different game modes ( CTF , king of the hill , slayer / team slayer , headhunter , infection , ecc ) would be a thing , bullet jumping would either need to be removed from the conclave or its effectiveness get reduced / be put on a cooldown . Rewards should once again be worth it .

With how good melee in general is now, there's is little reason to use exalted melee weapons.

Even if exalted melee could use all mods, it's still an ability. You won't be able to use it properly in Arbitrations  at least because it can't damage the drones.

As for using Excalibur, you're just focusing on the wrong things. If you feel you can't deal enough melee damage in high level missions, try Furious Javelin augment.

If you haven't played Banshee since the shield gating patch, try her now.   Still squishy, but when I die with her now I feel like it's operator error rather than just part of playing Banshee.

She could sure use some changes.  She's far more dependent on her augments than any other frame I play, and I really don't use her 4 for anything except soloing Interceptions.  I think her 3 could use another effect, and I'd love for her to have a little more stealth utility.  But...she's still a top three funnest frames for me, and probably still the best in the game at making bad weapons great, and great weapons ridiculous.  I just can't see calling her the worst when she's got that going for her, and there's so many frames that need work and don't bring anything special to the table.

    YMMV obviously.

    Will do .
I also agree with the fact she's a fun frame to play and that sonar is just an amazing ability...but she does need some tweaks . Very much so .
I was honestly quite conflicted by picking her as my worst one cause frames such as Zephyr or Nyx could seriously use a rework themselves...I love Banshee...but she needs to get some love herself from DE...and again , she ain't the only frame who does .

It used to be wukong for most people including me,wudingdong got a rework so...

Hydroid imo? He aint good for anything except dangling enemies with his tentacles and making them drop more resources,Nekros at least can make his own army and have his own hp with despoil connected to desecrate.

Going to make a subjective list of those frames who according to me might need a few tweaks and then pick the one I think is the worst for me .

    1. Ash

While Ash isn't an awful frame per se and he gets his time to shine against level 100+ enemies thanks to bladestorm or to the easy access to finishers his 3 grants him he kind of gets the shorter end of the stick talking about stealth / offensive frames ; bladestorm takes definitely too much to lock on every enemy and be casted ( by the time you are done your average mirage / ember / saryn / mesa / ecc already cleared the room ) and also takes up too much energy for as much as you can reduce its cost .
His invisibility is also kind of lame compared to Loki's due to its duration and while it can definitely be useful it could use a tweak ( I also don't like the forced synergy between Ash's smoke bomb and bladestorm tbh... ) .
Shurikens are lovely , nothing to say about them .
Teleport is pretty fine too .
The issue is that there are just a lot of frames who are just better than Ash at his role ( stealth ? Pick Loki . Offense ? Pick Mirage , Ember , Equinox , Mesa , Saryn , Wukong , ecc ) and as such no one feels the need to pick him unless it's for fun .

    2. Atlas

Despite his rework and the addition of lots of augments Atlas is still only used to punch stuff ; the changes applied to his 3 also make him feel definitely more tanky than he used to be in the past but his second ability ( tectonics ) and his 4th one ( rumblers ) are still pretty much useless and that's about half of his kit .

    3. Banshee

Banshee is in kind of a bad state . She is extremely squishy and she is only used for her sonar . Silence does not provide her the survivability she'd need , it's just not a great cc at all . Her sonic boom is a nice cc but is pretty much as useful as any other 1 in the game...not much . Sound quake just flat out sucks...it forces Banshee to stand still and it can't even kill enemies past level 20 .

    4. Chroma

His 1 and 4 are not all that great and now that self damage via explosives has been nullified you need to get hit quite a bit for Vex armor to be charged . Still a more decent frame than many others anyhow .

    5. Garuda

This frame's concept is overall okay but Ash pretty much outperforms her...and again there's not much of a reason to pick Ash .

    6. Hydroid

Hydroid's rework turned him into a rather okay frame back then when it striked but he's still not in an amazing spot , especially after all of this time .
Tempest barrage and tidal surge are pretty okay ( though it'd be nice if they at least provided some sort of cc...idk...reduced armor on enemies or slow on those hit by Hydroid in his path , ecc ) . Undertow is once again kind of getting old...it doesn't really deal much damage and though it may heal your allies with the auxilium of an augment there are lot of other frames and arcanes who can provide the same service and in a better way . Tentacle swarm just doesn't deal enough damage...and while it can now grab enemies instead of having tentacles flail around aimlessly like before it just isn't strong enough to kill them past a certain level and it does make it annoying for your teammates to shoot them while the tentacles wiggle them in all directions .

    7. Limbo

Limbo is once again pretty okay concept wise but the rift can be either a great help or a great hinderance for all of your teammates depending on how you use him . I think that just making the bubble work like Frost's or Gara's shields by allowing you to shoot through it with no issues while at the same time continuing to work as it does now for the enemies would help the players appreciate this frame a lot more .

    8. Nyx

Believe it or not but this frame once used to be one of Warframe's cc queens...time does fly...
Nyx received some nice changes as of recently ( mostly to her 1 and 2 ) but they did not solve her problems . She is squishy and while her passive and Chaos contribute to keep her alive they might not always suffice , especially at higher levels where she's going to get one shot very quickly without an augment to her 4th ability ( which also limits her movement and the way she can be built tho ) .
Despite the buffs her 1 also gets rather useless as the enemies start increasing in levels and this is cause the damage the AI deals and can stand is different from the damage a Warframe can deal or stand . Psychic bolts are pretty nice now , nothing to say about them .
Chaos is still a lovely CC but...again...AI damage...this means that at level 100+ you'll pretty much see enemies tickling each other .
Assimilate locks Nyx in place unless augmented and even then now its energy consumption scales with the damage you receive , basically making your energy go from 100% to 0% in but a few seconds at higher levels...pretty bad for an already squishy frame , ain't it ? To make things worse...this is supposed to be your "nuke" ability...except it doesn't nuke anything at all...the damage it deals is ridiculously low .

    9. Zephyr

Pretty fun to play but aside from Turbulence she's honestly fairly useless...not to mention how limited she feels in narrow spaces ( aka 80% of the game's missions ) . She definitely needs a rework .

As for the worst frame in game at the moment...I think I'd narrow it down to Banshee , Nyx and Zephyr...and probably pick Banshee out of the three at the moment...for the simple fact that keeping her alive can be a hell of a challenge even with an appropriate build . She needs buffs .

  5. Idk , trying out the changes just now and so far I'm simply just a little bit pissed cause my avionics got resetted ( and I honestly don't remember which ones I was using prior to this ) , boosters feel useless , void hole was nerfed ( "It was overpowered , dude"  No...it was the other battle avionics that were S#&$ . I hope these changes solved that but we'll see ) .
Thinking about what might have changed into the meta and as such at what parts or avionics I might need to replace but I'm too tired atm . Will play-test more of this stuff tomorrow .

    I.... want to agree? I don't..

So the old problem was that the enemy armor scaling was WAY impossible to fight, with weapons made for a much older system. Rather than reworking that system, they just released newer weapons. Lots of the old weapons were Super crap.. where as things like Phage was the meta back when I started.. so it's been going on quite some time.

I feel the player base was more accepting of preference then. "Most of the weapons are pretty bad, so it's understandable if you have bad ones. We do, too.. because we love them." ...Where as now, "There are like 10 meta things you could have taken, and you took none of them, that's your fault."

Part of me feels they had to do that, because people pay out the nose to have, "the best thing," so, keep providing a new best thing, and you keep being able to afford development.. and now they're looking at it like many creators have before... most famous example being, "Holy crap has that gotten out of control.. Welp, time for a flood."

    Kind of , yea...

The issue's always been there...it was just less noticeable with less weapons around and when endgame content actually was t4 void missions . Now lots of stuff can kill level 165 corrupted bombards in less than a full clip ( and even then...how many people do actually still stay that much in endless missions to get to face them ? The endgame shifted to eidolons , to Profit Taker , to Liches and so on...there's no real point in staying into a mission for longer unless you are looking for a challenge ) .

I get DE being willing to push you to get the newest stuff around...but again...while marketing wise it may be a good choice...it does hurt the game in the long run .

The Arca Plasmor. A beautiful gun with amazing sounds and effects. I love using that gun. But in the current Warframe, the only frames who can get it to deal damage is Chroma. That gun is barely capable of 100+ gameplay and it's disappointing. The weapon needs a buff. Fighting enemies is like hitting them with a nerf gun. And don't state that lower levels exist. That doesn't matter in power. The stug can handle lower levels. Please DE. Buff the Plasmor.

The problem is not "Arca Plasmor" ; the issue is that power creep will progressively make every new weapon that comes out be slightly stronger than the previous ones , thus making older weapons feel as if they were obsolete over time . They can still do the job just fine , they simply can't clear rooms as fast as the new ones...and that's one of the main issues with Warframe ; the game went from being a game of preference to a game in which the newest weapons and frames tend to be so good that the old ones get abandoned in the closet .

It's not just the Plasmor which would need a buff , there are hundreds of weapons which could use a tweak...but that still won't stop the problem unless DE decides to make all weapons be more or less on par the one with the other , new ones included , and unless they can find a solution to enemies stats scaling which turns them into bullet sponges after their level starts hitting the 100s .

  8. Loki needs no rework.

Why the hell do people even want to rework Loki ??
He's one of those frames that work just perfectly. He's been fine since the start , there are other frames in dire need of rework . Loki needs no rework at all .

  9. Banshee is weak and needs a rework.

She's squishy as hell and silence doesn't do its job as nicely as it should .

The fact that she's almost only used in combination with the Skiajati and Savage Silence should already be a clear warning of the issue. Every frame would be doing fine in similar conditions .

Quake isn't a great ability either and only gets decent when you use its augment...but again...you can't be expected to slot in Resonating Quake , Savage Silence and Resonance . You are forced to pick what you want to run and this will make her other abilities be not so good .

She's literally always ever been used for Sonar ( and Resonance ) and that's still not enough to be willing to use her at high levels since she will go down as soon as she's hit . And she will get hit unless you are running that perma invisibility build.

First off make loki base hp and shields 100.

Decoy should be permanent. Waste the enemy time on a fake. Decoy should get x3 Loki health and shield.

Invisibility should be a drain ability.

    Switch Teleport should be replace.

Radial Disarm should confused enemies and defense to attack each other.

Loki passive should be change to Loot Detector +20m. And it stacks with other mods like it.

    Loki needs no rework.

He is perfect. He is one of the very few frames that work just fine.

Ash got also got unintentionally  nerfed hard with the new arcane system / Arcane trickery triggers far less often than it used to , and was dependent on covert lethality which doesn't exist anymore. So yes ash is barely used ....  the only warframe we can call a space ninja , 😞

Ash got nerfed a lot more in the past . It stopped being used when its bladestorm "rework" came out and now got only worse with the Parazon , the rework to stealth blows , covert lethality and trickery nerfs.

He'd need some buffs rather than skins.

I’ve been hearing recently that Warframe has been getting worse to the point of it being bad now. Could someone list the things wrong with Warframe that are causing this? Thanks.

    Sure.

The game's not bad but as some people already said it's not what it used to be. Please keep in mind that the reasons I am going to list are entirely subjective and the answer you'll get will vary from player to player , some replies being even in contrast the one with the other as the community is formed by a miriad of different players .

    Still , here we go.

    1. The time invested per reward

This is probably one of the most noticeable issues the game happens to have at the very moment ; simply put...the time you invest in doing something is too much compared to the reward you actually get .
The game's grindy and has always been , don't get me wrong there , but there has been an exponential increase of the grind over the past few years and with very little returns for the player ( The Plains of Eidolon & Fortuna with their time-walls , Kuva and Rivens with their rng , Eidolons and arcanes , ecc ) , obviously to push the player to stay online and play the game for more time and thus have the already scarce content be diluted better over the course of a few months ( whereas before people would have logged in after an update , farmed everything within a couple of weeks / a month ) and then logged out until the next update .
Now while this is a way to actually make the game's content last more it certainly isn't a welcomed way by the community since as a player you obviously start feeling like you are being pushed to play for as many hours a day as possible while at the same time being able to achieve as little as possible , which feels like a low kick to your time and efforts .
A game is supposed to be fun and allow you to chill by the end of the day , not feel like a second job .

    1a The grind , rng and time-walls

I already mentioned these above but these are the main reasons as to why a lot of MMOs as well as other games start getting a bad reputation ; the less these three elements are present in some game the better it is . In Warframe's case the community's been promised a decrease in its grind for years while at the same time never getting it . The game's always been one in which there's a lot of things to farm for and it takes a huge amount of time and effort to get them all , adding more and more grind to it will only make the people feel more burnt out by the end of it .
Rng is something everyone doesn't want to have to deal with ; having mods , weapon stats , drop rates and who knows what might eventually come be decided randomly is just not respectful of someone's efforts and time once again ( ex. Why must I as a player spend 200+ hours farming for kuva and doing sortie to get a Riven for a weapon I want while it took just an hour for my friend to get good rolls ? ) .
Time-walls....same as before . Not respectful of your time . No one likes to be told how much you can progress a day .

    2. The balance

This is a very wide topic to face and spaces from the balancement of frames / weapons to scaling .

    2a. Weapons and Frames

Warframe's always been a hard game to balance cause of the incredibly high amount of frames and gear present inside the game .
At the same time however it's also always been a game of preference about what you like to use as a player and as such everything should be viable ; all kinds of content should be clearable with the frame and weapon you want to use , no matter which ones they are . Caution . That doesn't mean that certain frames or weapons shouldn't be preferrable for certain missions ( ex.  slow nova and interception , Loki and spy ) , simply just that you should be able to do clear everything by using what you like providing that you have enough skill and can mod your gear properly.
As such it is imperative for the various weapons and frames to be balanced accordingly ( weapons so that they can deal similar amounts of dps , frames so that what they lack in damage they make up for in utility such as buffs or relevant cc and so on ) .
Does that mean that weapons have to become all similar ? No . Sniper rifles can still deal their dps in bursts , assault rifles can deal it in a substained way over time but the amount of damage per second dealt by these weapons must in the end result similar so that the player can choose to play with the weapon class they prefer .
At the moment instead the game provides a chunk of frames and weapons which are completely overpowered , another chunk which can be defined as balanced and one last huge chunk of stuff which has been abandoned in the closet for too long cause it's underpowered or no longer useful due to the game's always increasing power creep , another issue I will talk about later on .

2b. The meta and damage types

It comes as obvious that in every game there's going to be a "meta" ( aka the best tools to do the job , the archetype of the good frame , weapon , the best damage types , ecc ) ; as a game developer it is your duty to either embrace it and adapt your old stuff to it so to give your players more viable options of playing the game or contrasting it by reworking it completely . Whatever's your choice you have to make sure things stay balanced ( if the game used to be all about cc and now it's about damage...and you see that cc frames are losing importance...then mix the two things ; keep their unique-ness while making them be a valuable asset in your current content . If you see that now the game favors tanky frames over squishy ones then give squishy ones some alternative means of survival ) .
The same goes for the weapons and for damage types ; currently viral and heat are the best damage types in the game ( and before it was corrosive which held the job ) by such a large margin that people don't really have many reasons to pick the other ones over them whereas all damage types should become valuable and be at least some choice you'd ponder over for a bit .
Talking about frames...cc based and squishy frames are now at a disadvantage compared to damage based and tanky frames ( a few exceptions made...) and some of them could use a few tweaks if not a rework .

    2c. Scaling

Another big issue in Warframe's closet ( and one of the main ones impacting the meta ) is related to the way its values scale . Enemies go from simple meat fodder to soon becoming huge bullet sponges who are able to one shot the player while the damage the player deals starts suffering from huge diminishing returns ( and here you already have why you may wanna use a tanky , dps based frame rather than one which provides mass chaos... ) ; as such not only difficulty gets upped in a rather artificial way , which doesn't feel "challenging" , but it ranges from "too easy" to "get one shot regardless of your skill" within a few dozens of minutes . While there have been improvements thanks to the recent changes made to shields the issue still persists .

    2d. Power Creep

Power Creep is simply just that factor that causes the newest weapon / frame around to be simply just better than the ones previously released stats wise and which as such forces the old "once good" weapons and frames to become obsolete in front of their new better counterpart . In a meta that favours this it is inevitable that these old weapons and frames will keep on becoming less and less useful update after update until no one picks them anymore....and if they did...they'd obviously not be nearly as good as the newest additions to the game .
Warframe suffers a lot from this .

    3. The game within the game

Another core problem of Warframe is DE's inability to make some of the new content they implement blend well with the rest of the game . By stating this I mean that many of the features they add to Warframe happen to become separate from the core game itself , ending up being much like islands split from the main continent or like a "game inside the game" .
This is the case for Railjacks , for the Vallis and the Plains ( and their separate resources ) , for K-Drives and up to some extent for Archwings and Operators too though in a minor way .

    4. Nightwave

Nightwave was introduced as a replacement to the old alerts system in order to allow players to get the rewards of the previous system ( plus some new additions ) without risking to miss on any of them due to the hours at which the different alerts happened to appear.
What Nightwave instead did was adding more unnecessary grind ( under the form of a new syndacate-like progression system ) gated behind unnecessary missions ( not every player will need to hunt Profit Taker / kill Silver Grove specters / do orokin vaults / capture animals in the Vallis / ecc ) .
What needs to be done in order to fix this is actually rather simple : allow the player to earn Nightwave credits by completing tasks they actually need rather than forcing missions they don't need upon them . Allow the player to pick every single challenge per week .

    5. The lack of story , content and lore

DE isn't a small studio anymore ; Warframe's been around since 2013 , millions of people play it and yet it still lacks a well written , solid story ; it lacks in story quests number ( Vor's Prize > Once Awake > Natah > The Second Dream > The War Within > The Sacrifice > Apostasy Prologue ) and it lacks in lore ( a lot of what we know , which is not much , also happens to be hidden within old events which haven't been released again since their first appearance ) .
While Leverian and other minor events have contributed to improve this situation the issue still persists as of now.

The content gets delivered fairly slowly for a game of this type , which I honestly don't even mind too much cause I know I can take a break from the game , focus on my studies / part time job / my interests  come back and know I haven't missed a lot but I know it causes issues to a part of the community . Now this would be fine if said content included rebalances , fixes , if the content itself was tested and almost bug-free once it goes live , if it truly was worth the wait and hype that DE and sometimes streamers generate before it's delivered to cut it short . Sadly it's often not .

    6. One step forward , two backwards

I love DE guys , I watch their streams , follow them on twitter , they are a fun and fine crew....but sometimes it feels as if the community's requests either fell on deaf ears or on merchant ones . By this I mean...that if a very large chunk of the playerbase is asking for some QoL feature ( universal vacuum on companions , map wide looting in space , blink on all archwings ,  ecc ) it would be nice to have it added to the game just like that , pure and simple . No  "Yes we are doing it but..." sort of stuff which ends up ruining the thing .

    7. Unnecessary , unjustified nerfs

( Borrowing a lot of the reasoning behind this from Rahetalius cause he explains it well )

Bullet jumping was introduced as an alternative to coptering ( an old way to move around the maps very quickly by using certain weapons ) ; DE successively fixed coptering but decided to integrate a similar feature in their game despite not having initially thought of it because the community liked the thought of being able to move around the maps so fast .
This was a good case of fixing something that was broken while at the same time answering a need of the community , thus effectively putting an end to an issue by embracing their vision of the game rather than denying it by saying "The game isn't meant to be played that way" .

At the present time instead DE has constantly been nerfing frames and weapons by basing themselves on their interactions with new events or mission types ( Limbo makes Scarlet Spear become trivial ? Nerfed . ) . While nerfing something may look like the way to solve the problem what it does is simply just removing one of the things that instigates it , thus resulting in something else taking the place of the previously nerfed feature ( Limbo's nerfed ? Let's pick Khora . Khora's nerfed ? Slow nova...and so on. The same applies to affinity farming stages , to resources farming ones , weapons used to efficiently grind for something , ecc .

Many of these nerfs make little to no sense ( Ember's WoF was nerfed because it "trivialized low level content" ; something every frame and weapon does ) . Why is it not fine for Ember to run around and kill enemies with WoF while it's fine for Mesa and Saryn to nuke rooms with a button press ( This is just an example , I'm not expressing my feedback about Ember's rework or about whether Ember needed or not a rework . She did need one but for other reasons ) ?
Why is it fine to trivialize some missions by using some specific frames / arcanes / weapons but it is not to bring some frame such as Trinity to the Scarlet Spear and allow her to heal the objective ?

DE is clearly looking at how efficiently the players are being able to clear content and not only they aren't worndering why but they are actively trying to slow them down by reducing their tools efficiency ; this isn't the right way to fix something . Every warframe excels at something , nerfing that something cause it's good at its role means removing what makes that warframe unique , forcing everyone to play the same way .

It was the same with Simulor and Mirage ; the gun itself was balanced , it was just its interaction with Hall of Mirrors that caused it to become overpowered . Instead of permanently nerfing the Simulor all it would have taken would have been a nerf to its interaction with Mirage's skill .

This is pretty much all of what's wrong with the current state of the game to me . The rest being minor things I don't care about enough to list .
Again , take it with a grain of salt , everyone has a different opinion about it all and likes / dislikes different stuff ; the game's still a nice one but I'd rate it as a 7/10 game atm where it previously would have scored an 8 - 8.5/10 .
I hope it will keep getting better if anything and wish it all the best.

And this is why we will never have anything challenging in this game 😂

    Bullet spongey isn't "challenging" .

Sure , sentients adapt and fly around but that's it.
Just carry around 3 weapons with different damage types and poof, there goes your challenge. It's insta dead.

What the people want when they talk about more challenging enemies are smarter and more heavily mechanized enemies much like a Dark Souls boss would be ; not an enemy which takes a ton of bullets to kill but who keeps doing nothing.

Its incredible how people treat you when playing limbo. In a defense mission you cant use the rift or they will just abandon. Or they will fight only outside it, making you look like a nuisance rather than helpful. Some even will harrass you in chat.

Couple years ago i stopped using limbo for reasons like these. With this event im experiencing the same stupid feedback from people, trying him on normal missions. Oh, but on the event they suddenly need you: "We need a limbo, our op links are being destroyed". Well guess what? Maybe you would have one if you werent so rude to limbo players. Hypocrite.

No matter how i see it, the rift is incredibly helpful on survival or defense. Im trying to empathize with people who hate it, but i simply cant. I can think only few reasons why this hate is produced:

    1. People who havent one, or they never played with one. They dont understand his mechanics and get angry cause they think they are being trolled.

    2. People who want to treat every mission like a extermination mission. They dont care about defending anything. They just want their stupid power fantasy, and no having to think. Just pressing click and see things dying. Cant spare a second, they have to maximize the kills and damage.

    3. People who think his abilities are too cheesy and unfair and he should be nerfed.

The only group i would able to empathize is the last one. I think a nerf maybe is needed. But even then, i didnt see a single good idea about how to do this. Or they dont care about giving feedback, is easier to just insult limbo players. The reason why the devs didnt make changes i think is cause this. They havent good ideas about how to nerf and making him more "fair", but without turning him into something useless.

I think he definitively needs changes but i admit i havent ideas either. Making his abilities cost more energy, would make him more difficult to use and no just spawn cataclysm+stasis without interruption. Its no a perfect solution though. His 3 i dont use it much either, so maybe that would need changes too.

As many other players said Limbo can be a great help or a great nuisance depending on a lot of factors ; Limbo needs to be played in a smart way to be able to offer help ( you don't wanna spam a max range rift and freeze every enemy inside it during a defense mission for example ) , you have to keep in mind how your skills synergize with your team's frames and with their weapons ( don't put me inside the bubble if I am sniping with the Vectis...) and so on.

I've had cases of Limbo players behaving like outright trolls constantly banishing me to the rift while I was trying to shoot my opponents , that's also not something you should be doing unless you are trying to save someone from certain death .

The rift is incredibly helpful in a lot of different game modes ( interception , sortie defense if you use a smaller rift , mobile defense , survival...only if it's not a super huge bubble once again ) but it can be a hinderance in other modes , hence why you always pick the frame you are going to use according to the mission type you'll be doing ofc.

Please ,also keep in mind that Limbo requires your whole party to adapt to your playstyle and deal with the bubble ( and not everyone might be willing to do that ) rather than aim normally and shoot ; this can be especially troublesome for new players who don't know how Limbo works.

In Warframe efficiency happens to be an important factor as well ( the game's a constant grind , you wanna farm well and do it fast so you can progress more rapidly ) and as such you need to be able to balance the defensive / survival aspect with the damage one ( I could make a defense team composed of Limbo , Frost , Slow Nova and Vauban....and sure...they'd be great at defending the objective itself...but the mission would be so damn painfully long that no one would be willing to actually bring such a team to it . Try mixing up offensive and defensive frames and if you see that your team is so good that they don't need defensive frames at all cause it would just slow the farming speed down...then consider going offensive yourself or at least supporting them in a way that makes the whole mission get done faster while still securing the objective ) .
Damage and kills may not mean much in some missions such as interception or mobile defense but they mean something in missions such as defense and extermination.

Limbo's abilities are pretty powerful but I don't think they are broken enough to deserve a nerf , there are other frames who'd merit nerfs / buffs atm .

I think that allowing the players to shoot as if the bubble weren't there in the first place ( much like you'd be doing from inside Frost's snowglobe or Gara's glass wall...or like your skills already hit enemies by passing through the rift ) would actually help and change how Limbo is perceived by the community ; the rest depends on how well you are able to use Limbo itself.

    I don't dislike it ; I think it's a pretty cute skin .

If anything I don't see it as a "Nova" skin .
Her reactors got removed ( and they were part of her appeal ) , her porcelain-like look isn't there anymore ( and she's known to be a fragile yet powerful frame ; she's a literal porcelain doll ) and her muscleheater-like very simple yet unique legs and feet got changed completely as well .

I like the skin but I think it would fit Nyx , Khora or even Mag more than Nova and by the end of the day I think I may prefer her prime look to her deluxe one.

  17. I'm thinking to pass too.

Animal Crossing and Doom just came out , there's plenty of other nice and fun games and the event here in Warframe is just too grindy and time consuming to be worth it.
It doesn't look like DE has learnt their lesson ; spending 30 minutes inside a mission only to get rewarded with 550 credits when you need 15 k / 20 k for the weapons and 1 k per one unranked bronze or silver arcane is not fun at all.
Sure, the event lasts for a month...but who here wants to keep spamming these 2 same missions for hours and hours a day for 30 days ?!

Those prices need to be cut down by a zero per each reward sold.

    What is it...154 days running...Geez

    Day 154 and I'm still at rank 14....God , do I hate Nightwave..      = w =

The old system was just better.
I can't and will keep not doing time consuming tasks I don't need in order to get rewards.
I'm almost at MR 28 , I only need a few more arcanes and weapons to max, I don't need to kill Silver Grove's specters or Profit Taker anymore ; let me earn standing by doing stuff I need , DE .

Yeah, I'm just learning the hard way that Archwings no longer feel like Jets any more but just "Meh" floating in space. If they wanted to Nerf a particular Archwing I can kind of understand that but they took away the only thing I found fun about all Archwings which was the feedback of flying them. I get more of a rush and zoom feeling from playing a Zephyr or a Volt than I do by strapping a winged jetpack with thrusters to my back! I sure hope they can hear us, reconsider, and at least give us our tactile experience back.

The point is that Itzal didn't even need a nerf.
It was a perfectly fine archwing and had not been touched in years and years . Archwings meta was actually Amesha .
The only issue DE had with Itzal is that it possessed "blink" , which allowed the player to move faster within open area maps such as the plains of eidolon or the orb vallis.
The community had already asked for an universal blink instead and for a rework to Itzal's first ability but what we got instead was yes...an universal blink ( on a cooldown...on an awful keybind...seriously double tap shift ?! Which is also the default key for sprinting or boosting when in AW mode ?! ) but Itzal's first ability apparently got changed with Valk's ( why ? It makes no sense. It's an horrible ability already , it makes even less sense on an archwing ).

  20. The grind for the materials needed to build a Railjack is real ; these things cost a crapton of credits and of resources thus being not so available to new players , tone it down.

The time gate between crafting and finding the different parts is horrible ( craft 1 part , wait 12 hours , the cephalon spots one more part , get the part and grind for the mats , repeat ) , it would be better if we could just get the missions to recover all of the different parts at the same time , get them mats for all of them and craft the whole ship within 12 hours instead of 12 x 6 hours .

There is no tutorial quest for the Railjack unlike for the Archwing ; people don't know how it works , don't know about the slingshot , don't know about the foundry , don't know about how to destroy crewships and so on until they've done a few missions with other players. Make an introductory mission .

The Railjack configuration screen is probably one of the most confusing things ever when you are starting to mess with it ; people don't know what each component does until they can swap it with another thus realizing what stats it affects , avionics are not explained ( they are just mods for railjacks ? Well , make it clear ) , the grid is not explained , you are not told that you must refill your payload nor how to repair stuff . All of this stuff needs to be more clear .

The grind for the materials needed to build railjack components ( as in weapons and other parts this time ) is also real .

Railjacks feel very weak at start , their damage output is low , they get critical failures stupidly frequently and they are not suited for solo play ( which makes me wonder how new people will be able to complete some missions once the hype for railjacks is gonna be over ) . Archwings are also a pain to use within these missions as their damage feels rather low and they prove to be quite squishy. I'd recommend you to adjust the difficulty of these first few missions or the stats of railjacks and archwings so that they can have a smoother start and generally just perform better .

The stats of the various railjack components are random ?! Seriously ?! People hate that kind of stuff, you should know.
You'd think the hate for rivens , for kuva and for liches would have taught that lesson but since it's not the case let me make it clear once more : The less randomness appears in this game the better it is .
Random stats ( and not only those ) are disrespectful towards your players time and towards their efforts . No one likes to grind for hours and hours and hours every day only just to be rewarded with something that was just not worth it . Please fix the "random" aspect in this game ( remove rivens or allow the players to be able to lock for ever one of the rolls every 10 re-rolls , just make railjack components stats not randomized ) .

    Tiers are not explained ( sigma , lavan , vidar , zekti ) nor marks ( mk 1 , 2 , 3 ) . Let the players know what they mean .

Crewships feel useless when hijacked , it's the same as dargyns on the plain . Why allow the player to control some vehicle that will be borderline useless when they could perform better if they didn't drive it in the first place ? Please adjust these vehicles stats when they are used by tenno players.

So far my feedback on this update is rather negative ; I'm giving it a 5/10 .
The concept is nice and the missions can prove overall enjoyable but there's really just so much stuff that needs to be addressed and fixed . Hope to see this content get the adjustments it deserves .

P.S.  Please give us back archwing's manouvers , bind blink to a different key than double tap sprint , give itzal a new 1 ( Valk's 1 on Itzal sucks , truly ) and make archwings feel like the grav zero flight combat simulator they used to be .

Empyrean: Railjack Mission and Difficulty Feedback Megathread

Use this megathread to post all of your mission-based feedback for Railjack. This can include enemies, the mission mode itself, difficulty level and anything that falls into the mission modes overall.

Please remember to keep your feedback civil, constructive and succinct. It doesn’t help us find issues or know what you enjoy if you do not explain clearly what you do or do not like, why you do or do not like it, and what you would like to see differently if you dislike a system.

Have fun, and let us know what you think!

Buff orokin cells drop rates back up to how they used to be , running 20 waves defense mission with nekros AND a kavat on Ceres or Saturn only just to get 1-2 of them is not fun.

I understand that you may want to push people into purchasing more boosters with the recent changes ( to resources drop rates , to loot specific warframes and to other components of the game ) but this will only make your community get pissed .

Years ago the community was promised less grind while in truth the grind has only just increased ( with specters of the rail , plains of eidolon , the grind for rivens , focus schools and kuva , fortuna , the kuva liches update and now railjack ) . Soften the grinding a bit.
