Anyways, maybe if the event had a trigger it could make people freak out and or avoid it, turning it off seems like a waste tho.

That's why I asked for an option, I realise there is quite a few people who enjoy it.

@Koldraxon-732 I'd take anything, really, though preferably a toggle in the Options called "gtf off my ship"

  2. Can we, please, be rid of it already?

After the Chains of Harrow, it stopped me playing the game for few weeks. Having appeared once after the quest was fine, but few times - not cool. Then, for several months I did not have any appearance and I thought the "feature" was finally removed. Sadly, I learned it was not so, since my husband told me he had his operator's evil twin appear twice in the meantime. Now, after the Sacrifice, the ghost appears again, with an ominous question. Fair enough, it was actually a nice touch, but since then I had the "Hey, Kiddo" event few times again.

It genuinely upsets and bothers me, so can we please have the option to turn the Man in the Wall appearances off? This feature has been requested many a times, and yet was ignored. Why, does someone at DE really finds it funny?

Or perhaps there is an option, and I just don't know it? If so, then I apologise (no, turning off operator transmissions is not an option in this case :/)

I have the Donda as a decoration on my Liset, if that makes any difference.

  3. There is a disturbing tendency lately, for many games of completely different genres to include a horror based mission, or dlc, or location. Personally, I hate it. If I wanted to play a horror game, I would play a horror game. I'm fine with one mission like that in a game like Warframe, but I would not want to see any more.

That said, the mission itself was done well. The atmosphere based more on creepyness and anticipation rather than jump scares and that's how a well made horror should look. Jump scares are a cheap way to... well, scare someone.

Therefore I do not understand and do not appreciate the fake tenno apparitions on the orbiter. I do not appreciate them strongly enough to cease playing until they're removed. Had it been one time appearence after finishing the mission, I would have been fine with it but as it is, it's an obnoxious, unwelcome addition to the game.

  4. I have way more fun with Ash now than ever before. I shifted to Smoke Screen build with only 115 power strenght in it and he still easily destroys high-level enemies with his ult as per yesterday's 3rd sortie - grineer survival. I just don't feel compelled to use bladestorm all the time now when I play him. One of the best reworks

Improved overall Arsenal display alignment with the search bar, item grid, and selected Loadout item.

Could we also. please, get a "favourite" option? Simply, so the weapons we want to have easiest access to will be displayed at the top of the weapon's list, instead of alphabetically. It's only a small annoyance when one has multitude of weapons, but it shouldn't be hard to fix?

It's funny since AMD/DE doesn't allow Poland (+several European countries like Italy, Spain, Romania, Ireland, etc) residents to win prizes while Nvidia let us to win. Now idk why DE or AMD don't care about a lot of players and treat them as 2nd citizens, while Nvidia can work it out.

    Bit more inclusive, eh?

So c'mon DE, there must be something you can do since I've already shown two places/businesses that have given better worldwide range for prizes :)

I quote you guys, since yours are the last posts before mine, but I address this to anyone whom it might interest:

I was really cheesed off at first when I learned about regional restrictions and that I can't enter the contest. You can bet I was like "uggh, this is so bloody unfair, what the hell, DE." and well... I checked the law regarding contests/lotteries/etc. in my country and guess, what? all those people who said it's because of the law of the given country/state/province are right. In case of Poland the legal requirements for organising some kind of lottery are pretty high in general, very high for other members of European Union and well, very, very high for people outside of it. Starting with proper permissions from the given Ministry, the obligation to keep proof of the whole process within Poland's borders, the obligation for a representative of the company to live in Poland and speak Polish... yeah, I'm sure you can imagine all sorts of other demands.

Comparing it to Nvidia is a little pointless, this is a giant corporation which offers multitude of software and hardware, one of the leading companies in its field for the whole process to be worthwhile for them. Not so for DE, it is as simple as that.

So, as much as I am disappointed, I don't blame DE in the least, despite my initial annoyance.

I would love to know, though whether I can join and in case of winning simply cede the prize to someone elligible, though I can pretty much guess the answer.

The problem with bladestorm was it locked the player in an animation sequence, created invulnerability frames that impede team mates and was considered very cheesy in the whole 1 button nukes a room regard.

The changes only looked at the last part, and even then all that was done was making it clunky and a bit reliant on smokescreen.

As far as reworks go, it was pointless.

    This.

If the point was to make the ability more interactive, then why do we still have the cutscene mode? This should have been the first thing to go along with Ash's invincibility in that time. I find the current rework a band-aid rather than a proper solution.

  9. For me it's a forced habit of years of playing MMOs. In all games I've seen so far, people expect and demand it of you in any kind of content above average. In many cases, your non-optimised gear will do the job just as well but somewhat slower and thus you're "dragging the team down". You will either get insulted or outright kicked out of the group. It's a rather tragic social phenomenon, It also includes builds, classes/frames and so on.

In Warframe, for me, except the mentioned habit, it's also the fact that on higher levels, it's a simple matter of either I one-shot an anemy (preferably a group) or I am going to get one-shotted. I'd happily run around with lower tier weapons if it didn't drasticly decrease my chances of surviving. Yhis also includes warframes themselves *coughbansheecough*

I also like to feel powerful :P

I don't know if you already figured out the problem, but I haven't noticed any changes to his Warding Halo lately so maybe your settings got reset after the latest big update. Is your particle setting set to low?   If you change the particle setting to medium or high, you should get the old spinning effect back.  His Warding Halo fx was changed ages ago to accommodate people who have motion sickness.

It happened even before the TWW, but you are quite right, setting particles back to High indeed solved the problem. Thank you so much!

But they can't reset quests :sadcry:

Aww, that really sucks, especially or people that had the misfortune o fhaving skipped more than one mission :/ Here's hoping they will make it replayable soon.

You're not doing anything wrong, but yesterday's hotfix botched this. The activation method for both focus and transference mode seems to be absolutely random. Sometimes tapping 5 won't let me go into transference, sometimes it will send me into focus if it's not on cooldown, sometimes it won't do anything. Holding 5 seems to always work for transference, but not for focus anymore, making it actually impossible to go into focus in some missions.

At least that has been my experience with this today.

Thank you, at least I know I'm not alone and that it's actually recent (I finished TWW only today). From what you say it seems that tapping 5 has a better chance of activating the focus than holding it.

hold 5 to focus, press 5 to tenno

it works for me : /

Well, it doesn't for me and since finishing TWW I just can't use my focus.

They need to do things differently for controler users anyway, there is no reason for not using separate key for keyboards and leaving it as it is for controlers.

  14. So how am I supposed to activate my focus school now? Yes, yes, I read patch notes and I know I am to hold the button now rather than tap it. The problem is, it's not really true, for no matter what I do I get the Transference anyway. Why complicate it so and not simpy use a different key-binding for us, keyboard users?

Anyone had this problem and if so how did you solve it?

  15. And what about whole missions skipped due to crashes? I don't even see a mention of it. So much content is locked behind TWW, nevermind new stuff, which is understandable, but we can't even do Sorties now :/

Feeling a bit bitter that cosmetic fixes are being dished out while some of us have a rather game-breaking issue with the quest itself.

  16. Each endless mission (interception, survival, defence, excavation) gives you reward every round, 5 minutes, 5 waves, 100 cryotic respectively. Each of those intervals if called a rotation. The rotation go in this order: A, A, B, C, which means that you will get a reward from the rotation C pool after 4 rounds/20 minutes/20waves/400 cryotic etc.

Frost Prime is supposed to be unvaulted this year for a time, so in your place I would hold off with the Forma until then.

As for the Continuity mod, find me in game, I should have a few spares :) Unless, of course, you really want to farm them up yourself :)
