It's your own fault if you think the truth belittles them.
I on the other hand believe ignoring it is far more belittling. As if being traumatized means you are dead.
It takes more strength to live on through trauma and pain.
My entire point about that was to point out that even though they went through a lot of hell, have void magic, martial training, and may have all kinds of book smarts, it still in no way implies they are mature.
If you don't physically age past childhood, you cannot mature mentally. It's that simple.
What we don't know is if we can age or not.
It's why we need a timeline, it would illuminate whether we are incapable of growing up or if it is merely because of stasis pods.

Those capabilities are still well beyond those of a bunch of twelve year olds, mind. Regardless of the issue of judgement or emotional balance, the Tenno are obviously more intellectually capable than their youth would suggest.
I would also still argue that a couple of the Tenno faces are definitely in full blown puberty rather than childhood, mind. Maybe a third of the faces have decidedly more mature casts to nose, brow, and jaw than the others.
I think the faces may be aiming more towards ethnic variance rather than age. They are all still seem to possess a level of neoteny.
Personally, I am still seeing an attempt to make them somehow more than void empowered children. I really don't see why.
Maybe an age poll would shed some light on where the need stems from.

I have no issues with the child operators.
Zero. I am simply pointing out the truth.
They are child soldiers with EVERYTHING that entails. People need to come to terms with that.
I already said this all. Read my posts. Words are our friends.
Being a child doesn't preclude them from being capable soldiers in battle.
Going by the responses, it feels like I am the only person reading what people have been writing.
Intellect =/= judgment by the way. Maybe that is where you are misinterpreting.

Don't fix what isn't broken. Being able to be switched out for another frame is a GOOD THING.
Christ why do people think being mandatory is good? That's horrible design.

I have spent a great deal on warframe, a chunk of which is on an account I no longer use.
I don't even play that frequently, but even so, I don't regret it one bit. I enjoy seeing where the game goes, and I have done so since day 1.

Shafted means being screwed over which is also synonymous with being scammed or cheated out of something.
You are essentially saying you feel cheated out of your money and that you should have gotten something worth however much you put in.
The truth is you bought platinum. You got your money's worth. If you bungled up in the usage of said platinum, surely the blame rests entirely on your shoulders.

Children are definitively immature and it isn't something you can help, or something to see shame in. It is what it is.
In that sense, you only cease to be a child in your early twenties.
Demographically speaking, you have to wonder where all the hate stems from, on average the users should be able to emphasize with the operators on some level.

Maybe people don't understand what a child means from a biological standpoint.
It's not an argument. The operators are children. Being put into a cryopod and coming out 3 million years later? Still a child.
Biological immortality ie arrested aging?
Forever a child.
Minds do not age apart from the body. Body and mind are one.
If the body is a child, so the mind must follow. This is basic biology.
The events they have been through most definitely traumatized them, and please if you have no working idea about what trauma is, please keep your opinion to yourself as it will be uninformed.
From both a story and objective perspective, the operators are children.
This is not up for interpretation, you have been told it. You have been shown it.
The only thing that is unknown is whether or not the tenno can age.
If they can, then they will eventually grow up, so you can avoid having to get over your issues with child operators yourself.
If they can't... Well. Well well well. You'll need to develop coping skills.

None of this precludes them from being capable in battle.
Child soldiers are very effective. Why do you think warlords use them?
The tenno even more so because of the frames.
But no matter what when it comes down to brass tacks, the tenno are children.
They haven't even finished puberty. Just look at them. Tanner test puts them at the start of puberty, the females possibly shortly before.
We are talking 12 years old, 13 years, 14 max(only in the case of the males).
My objective is to break the delusion that the operators are somehow not children in some manner.
They are children. Just children with space magic and martial training/experience.

They are children. You are literally refusing canon by claiming otherwise.
If you are refuting their minds aren't those of children then it is simply a lack of understanding where neurology is concerned that guides that view.

I am simply saying it was always a mistake to identify as the frame. Regardless of what the reveal was, we were NEVER the frame.
So people complaining about puppetry were those who made that mistake. It's probably an easy one to make if you pay no attention to the story or lore.
