  1. Sorry to be the pessimist here, but I do have some complaints with Volt. I am not hating on him, I have the most playtime on him and his prime, and he is my fav frame. It's mostly the fact that discharge has a damage cap that makes it wear off early. That part is just dumb. Everything else about discharge is bloody epic. Sad part about that though, is that shock is kinda useless to me now, since a run a discharge build. Last thing would be weapon restriction on riot shield, as well as duration restriction, since it already drains energy. If those weren't there, I'd actually use it.

    Hey All,

On a previous Dev stream a Corpus Unit-concept was show deploying little death-bot construction units. Why not create a warframe-deployed constructor that works in a fashion similar to the air support charges. That way you have a choice of using the mod to ressurect your sentinel or rebuild one on the battlefield. Imagine a 2 hr high-level survival, those sentinels would've been destroyed by the 30 minute mark. Carefully timed redeployments can save your butt. It can go on the Gear wheel in the same way as landing craft charges. They can have a 4 minute cooldown or have limited deployments per mission or just high crafting costs/ times per unit/stack. I know i'm not the only player with 1 million salvage, alloy plates and nano spores just sitting around. Give us things to build.

I once also had this idea, but the existence of primed regen kinda screws this over. And just when they introduced a sentinel with a weapon worth using too.

It might be simpler to fuse 2 warframes at once, like Volt/Mag:

1: Fires an EM beam that does Electric and Magnetic damages to enemies ahead, stunning them.

2: Traps an enemy in an EM coil that slows it and deals it gradual damage while nearby allies speed up

3: Creates an EM dome that reduces damage going in and reduces the max shields and armor of enemies inside it.

4: An EMP that stuns and damages all nearby enemies.

    My idea for Volt+Mag

    1. Fires a lightning bolt chains to enemies. Enemies hit will be magnetically immobilized. (Shock+Crush)

    2. Increases movement of you and all nearby allies, and electrocutes nearby enemies. (Speed+Augment)

    3. Spawns a forward facing barrier that can absorb an infinite amount of damage for a certain duration. Firing though the shield adds electric, magnetic, and crit damage, restores shields, and breaks armor. (Electric Shield+Polarize)

    4. Turns enemies into electromagnetic tesla coils. The tesla coils have an electrical arcs that deals damage over time, and the magnetic field absorbs attacks. The damage of the electrical arcs scales according to how much damage the coil has taken. Using the first ability at the coil will cause it to explode, dealing all the damage absorbed in an electromagnetic blast. Damage dealt also restores shields. (Discharge+Magnetize+Polarize)

I have another idea with Saryn and Nidus if you guys want it.

  4. Ok. Sigh. haven't been on  the forums for months and I can't be bothered to read 65 pages of suggestions. Most of these you will have heard before by now, but here's my take:

Passive: Parkour 2.0 makes it kinda useless.

1st ability: If stun duration could be modded, that'd be great.

2nd ability: I don't use it that much, but it's fine.

3rd ability: Here we go. If the shield is charged by shock, the effects of shock (damage, stun duration) should be applied to any enemy that touches it. As for the riot shield, all of this should be removed: 1. No one cares about the ragdoll on contact. 2. The shield's duration still expires while you're holding it. 3. There is a drain based on movement. 4. The primary restriction.

4th ability: I like it, but something that would make it scale better is giving it a damage multiplier that stacks every second or something. But it's generally fine.

Did anyone else notice the different behavior on todays prime time? Around the fanart?  We might have something ahead of us as soon as tomorrow...maybe

Hehehe.. yes. Are they subliminally making us play more Volt?

And while I really like the snippets of history in some of the Prime Codex entries, it would be really nice if the "Lore" was actually about the Warframe in question.

    • Ember Prime codex is set well before Warframes and involved Tenno, not Warframes
    • Rhino Prime is about the discovery of weaponisable transference and a "beast" that might have something to do with Rhino at some point in the future.
    • Excalibur Prime basically has only one line actually about him.
    • Mag Prime Tells us about the Sentient War and Archwing but nothing about Mag Prime.

The dialogue from the Vauban Prime and Saryn Prime cinematics would make good codex entries, they tell us:

    • Who is responsible for the creation of the Warframe
    • Why the Warframe was created
    • Reasons for the types of abilities.
    • A little bit about the context of the creation.

Even if it's a little odd that Ballas seemingly made Vauban Prime to fight the Corpus when everything we currently (From the Anti-Moa synthesis) know suggests that "The Corpus" as we know then didn't exist during the era when Ballas might be designing Prime Warframes.

Rhino Prime's was about Rhino Prime; the beast WAS Rhino Prime.

I'm relatively sure the Mag Prime entry was about Mag Prime using the Odonata Prime.

The Corpus did exist during the Orokin Empire as a part of it, until the rebelled. Like the Grineer, and the Tenno, and the...

Also, since Volt Prime is the first Prime to have his blueprints available through Clan-Tech, I think his Codex entry should have something to do with that: The experiments, the pain, the sacrifice so other Tenno could wield his power.

Phantom is a ghost based warframe.

She wears a lightish purple robe and hood with dark purple trimmings and chains covering her body. Her face is covered with black smoke and two yellow eyes

Reformation: Phantom goes into a spiritual state to safely hide away and scout areas around her for a temporary amount of time, while in this form enemies can't hit her but she can't hit them. She can also passthrough walls or doors. (Made to scout and regenerate health and energy.)

Possession: Phantom temporarily take over an enemy to fight that enemy's allies. If that enemy dies while possession it, it'll return you to normal, but will stagger you for a few seconds. (Made for confusion and damage and be that enemies level.)

Haunting: Phantom makes images of what her enemies fear the most. ( this ability does damage and confusion to her enemies.)

Consumed: Phantom makes her enemies go into a ghost realm with other images of herself that try to kill them or overwhelm them .(Add control and damage dealing.)

Resonation (passive): When Phantom kills enemies are killed in Consumed the can either be spirits that fight for her or give a higher drop chance for mods, energy, health, and rare materials.

    Aura: Naramon

Polarity: 1 Madurai and 1 Naramon

    Shield: 120

    Health: 100

    Armor: 80

    Energy: 125

Her story is that her Tenno, Syrah made the frame her self. That Tenno built her because she was lonely because she had no one hanged out with her. She didn't want to work with the Orokin because of there cruel treatment and always tried something to get freedom. Then the Orokin decided that she was too rebellious and sent her to the torture prison to straiten her out. The ship that was carrying her and her frame crashed on a icy planet, all on board were dead but her. She was bleeding out and was about to die, then she looks at the frame and says "I don't want you to be lonely, so my final command and favor is for you to fined your self a new trust worthy friend." After that the frame nodes and disappears, after that she died with a smile on her face.

Lore: I always thought of freedom when I look at you my friend, you can vanish away so none can hurt you, you make those that try to hurt be hurt from the attempt, the all think of you as a monster, I think you as a ordinary person with special potential, I will always remember this till my final moments in life, untill then we will always be together my ghostly friend.

(This is my first creation and if you want you all can tell Dev about her, but still tell me your thoughts about Phantom in the comments below, goodbye for now Tenno.) P.S. I will make augments for her and more concepts soon.

Forgotten Memories: Before you start the quest you must have completed the second dream. You are on Neptune, while there( on any mission) you will get a purple flash, and a message type seen, and it shows a image of phantom, then it goes away.

After you go back to the ship the lotus wants you to figure out what that was, and she sends you to a spy missions on the orokin moon to get information about this frame. After those missions you get her helmet blueprint.

After you find the information about her last known location and a little of her origin story, you also figure out that some beings known as the orokin guards are going after her so, you go on a exterminate mission on Neptune to make sure they won't get her, you are to late, but before you go a orokin guard sergeant had information of where she is going and the access key to get on the location. Then you have to capture him, and extract the mission. When you do you will get phantoms chassis blueprint and the Titan nav coordinate.

Know you have a way to get on titan, you have to go rescue her, when you do the enemies notice start a timer before the prison locks down and have you fall the rescue, but if you make it on time you will have the mission completed, and you get her systems blueprint.

After you get back on your ship your operater asks phantom where her Tenno is, she says that she died long ago, and shows us a cinematic of her and her Tennos backstory (not their entire life in the empire), and how the got there. After that she wants you to assassinate The Orokin moon Warden, Tyron. Then after she tells you that you go to the location to assassinate him. After you do and leave, you get her blueprint.

After that you get a inbox from phantom saying thank you and goodbye for now. After you finish building her you get a inbox from saying that she has returned and ready to help you when you need her.

But know the real question is Tyron still alive?

If you want more information go to the codex I will make soon, or visit the my other threads.

    Opinions:

    1. Name change to: Phantasma

    2. Possession should be a drain ability (EB, Hysteria, WoF, etc).

    3. Damn, the lore is good.

    4. 2 options for passive:

Spirit Barrier: Each enemy she kills creates a spirit that she can pick up, offering 5% damage reduction per spirit (caps at 50%) that disappears after 5 seconds.

Soul Charge: Each enemy she kills creates a spirit that she can pick up, offering 5% damage increase per spirit (caps at 50%) that disappears after 5 seconds.

Any thoughts/updates on adding a benefit to weapons having over 100% status chance? I remember you guys talking about this in previous streams and as far as I know it hasn't been mentioned in quite some time.

Chance to proc more than 1 status?

In terms of lore, the Codex's primary purpose of implementation (if I remember correctly) was to provide lore to incentivize the scanning and completion of the entries, however at this point only a small portion of the codex entries contain any lore whatsoever. While pages of text are not necesary for every entry it certainly feels lacking that so many don't have anything that tells us them, is this problem something you were aware of before? Do you have any ideas to deal with this (like small batches of lore for some entries once in a while)?

When it comes to bosses, lately there has been a trend of involving reworked and new ones into either events, quests or both; which serves as a way to formally introduce the boss and show off it's personality, however two bosses of old were made before this and have been left out: Lech Kril and Lephantis. These two bosses, unlike the rest of the 'finished' ones are just there, without any significant story tie-in, therefore are there any plans to remedy this situation with these two bosses in the future, wether it be via events or quests?

I think at the VERY LEAST, all Prime Warframes and Bosses should have lore entries. Thanks for reminding me of this.

I think DE better reduce the number of runs needed to kill the thing then, because all of that would quite a lot longer than what we have now.

And it would be more awesome. But yeah true.

Though I do think it would be very cool to integrate archwing and ground combat, including a mode where you run air-to-ground attack missions using archwing, or using archwing to surgically disable the turrets and systems of large ships then board then.

    Damn.

    And about infiltrating ships:

Formorian sabotage is too easy for a mission to destroy the closest WarFrame's ever gonna get to a Death star. What if:

Tenno have to disable the shields (as usual), hack an airlock, enter the Formorian, activate a console and guard it until the cooling vents fully open, THEN exiting and flying in through the vents to attack the reactor (as usual), then once the time expires, the whole ship enters lockdown and you have to escape by blowing up the exhaust port.

    How's that for Formorian sabotage?

  12. Discharge now requires you to be standing on the ground, and the Devs did say that they liked the idea of Discharge chaining through the floor, but the part that confuses me is:

Why does Volt still lift himself off the floor?

Was planning to show drawing of suggested animation, but don't know how to insert picture.

What do those have to do with being able to carry riot shields?

Riot shied would make those abilities OP. More damage and no damage falloff on EB. If it is implemented, I don't DE to nerf Volt to all hell because of Excal or Mesa.
