I highly suspect that there is supposed to be a designated area where you need to go to collect the credits, but the game, for whatever reason, does not show you where that area is. Would make sense since the accompanying dialogue is something along the lines of "we know where he hides his fortune, steal it and draw him out". So if it worked for you you were probably in the right area.

i've already done this bounty like 5 times a row and got it always working with this trick in the same area (everytime at "enrichment labs") so either this is the designated spot or i'm very lucky with knowing the spot w/o a mapmarker. but nonetheless it needs to be fixed

seems like i found a workaround for me; as soon as the stage begins you aren't allowed to change to operator. simply stick to your warframe all the time collectiing credits and you'll be fine.

@Sannidor you can do it anywhere, i prefer "enrichment labs" bc the spawns are good and the target usually spawns right behind a building after reaching the number of credits
