  1. The care-o-meter says: No one cares.

    I care. U_U

    Just wanna say...

Reduce the spawn rates on the Mutilist MOAs. Maybe 1-2 per wave, maybe make them a bit tougher (like a miniboss maybe?), and yield more experience (as much as ancients). At the moment it's not fun to just be stunlocked/knockdown/instakilled continuously by waves and waves of annoying silly mutated ostrich things. Okay? Not fun. At least not for me, I am agreeing with the "casual" argument and the "hardcore" argument. But I will say that I have played Warframe to mindlessly slaughter mobs and be super-powerful, because that's what I really enjoyed about this game. The infested were my favourite until now. So tone these silly bird-mech-goo things down, mmkay?

    I'm gonna leave now... bye....

  2. Filthy, mutated abominations. Their stench is spreading through the system, and someone has to stop it... I found a corpus ship, decided to pop in and see if I could find me some materials, maybe ask nicely you know? Nope.

    Infested. Everywhere.

I mean, I know I should've probably noticed that the ship had slimey gunk all of over it, and was practically breathing, but hey, I guess I was distracted.

Still. It's no matter. Nothing was getting off that ship alive, except for me, and my pet Shadey. .... right?

No. Three hives down, and they kept coming. Wave after wave were greeted by inferno from my Ignis. Sigh. Why aren't they running from ME at this point?

    Anyway...

    I got bored.

    :D

  3. Hai.

Will Warframe ever be receiving full support for super-widescreen 5760x1080 resolutions on multiple monitors? I have tried to get it to work, and I have seen many old threads on the subject that didn't get anywhere. I recently invested in a triple set of 1920x1080 24" monitors with Nvidia Surround, and Warframe is the only game I play(ed) with any regularity that doesn't really work with it... I can get it to display but it's super stretched and looks really off... Or it just black-screen and doesn't render anything. I have to play it windowed at 1920x1080 :(

Warframe has beautiful visuals in my opinion, and would look STUNNING in surround... just wanted to ask... is proper support for 5760x1080 and super-widescreen multi-monitor actually going to happen at some point? Other games like War Thunder are also free to play and support 5760x1080 natively and look amazing so it's possible...

Forgive me if I have missed something somewhere about this topic, but I found nothing when searching :s

    Thanks...

  4. I finished my largest model........... Ever >.<

In case any one is interested.

Mobile refinery and mothership. The Conglomerate also use them as trading centres in the remote frontier regions. These vessels are too slow and large to be used as effective warships, however they are formidable in defensive combat, and sometimes the TDF use them as Dreadnoughts.

    32,478 bricks. :D

  5. Hey!

    Built some more ships...

This time for the Volcyon Conglomerate; a new race of traders and corporations... (The battleship is based on my Endeavour hull, the other ships are from scratch. Though the FT-7 is based on the DT-18 hull).

  6. Make some of the Warframe ships!!!

    Start with the Orokin :D

:D Uuuh... All those vines and things would be difficult, but I suppose I could try. :D

You had be interested with LEGO.

You have me impressed with the ships.

I simultaneously love your work and hate it as I will never be able to make something like that myself, Computer Program or no.

Now, please take this 11/10 card.

    Thanks :D

To be honest, many of my ships are surprisingly simple, I have a basic hull layout with the sloping sides that I use for all my designs, all you need is a good concept and a bit of inspiration or a theme, and you're set. And of course, the will to sit for a couple of hours placing bricks :D

I made another two variations of the Light Cruiser, something with a little more firepower:

    l6V0FqE.png

This one is a WIP, not sure if I like the design.

    BD7NRaE.png

As you can probably tell, they're based off the same design. Which is really how I make different classes of ship. The Federal Navy uses a Base Design, which is built to perform all roles, and the different classes are all based on it. (Also makes it easier to build new models :D)

  7. Just wanted to post a pic of a remake of my Endeavour-class Battlecruiser I made, here is the ' S5E ' Experimental Cruiser, developed by the Secretive Red Sector Agency (RSEC). She's very similar, but has different weapons, a new drive system and main gun. And tweaked colours.

    PUThXVy.png

I also made a description of the changes over the regular S3 Endeavour:

Main armament consists of Directed Ion Stream Cannons (DISC). Based on technology used in Neutron Stream Reactors, DISCs fire a tunneled beam of Free Ions generated by Electro Ionisations of Concentrated Hydrogen gas. The Beam is accelerated by a focused Maser, and propagates at near Light Speed. The turrets have improved contact-free magnetic rotation bases for quicker tracking.
Next to no travel time at standard engagement range.

Experimental Gravimetric Drive Systems (EGDS) is used for the first time on the S5E. The EGDS generates field-isolated pockets of gravity to allow for greater maneuverability.  In addition to propulsion, S5E's EGDS can actually negate gravimetric rift cannons by 'flattening out' gravity and space density around the ship.

Modulated Inverse-Tetramatrix Crystalline Shield Array (MITCA) using a well known and trusted technology of Crystalline Tetramatix energy fields, the MITCA uses an experimental modulator to inverse the crystals into a denser arrangment, increasing shield mitigation capability. In addition, the Experimental Modulators have improved on the Adaptive Harmonics System (AHS) to allow for 400% greater shield adaption to incoming enemy fire, using the Antaeus/Nemesis based AI in the ship's control centre, known as 'Sphere'.

Sphere-Accellerated Paralax Targeting Array. Compared to the cutting edge Parallax MKIV Fire Control System, the SAPTA allows for an effective 40-50% increase in weapons accuracy and hostile action predicition.

Field Trials have proven that S5E warships can not only keep pace with Destroyer Flotillas, but have actually out-performed a few of that class in mobility tests at medium range.

Overall mobility increase compared to S3 Endeavours is 69.7%

Only a single prototype exists. However RSEC will press at least a dozen into service over the next five years, with plans to have them in Navy service within a decade.

  8. Thank you for your comments =)

I made these a while back but never finished them... I'm not 100% happy with them but they are the closest things I have to Grineer ships (maybe?) :D

  9. Hey!

So this is not related to Warframe, but I made some spaceships in Lego Digital Designer and thought I would share them here...

Uh, I suppose they could be Corpus ships, but I don't really think they fit the Corpus theme. I actually made them for a fictional nation I made up when I was younger called the Unified Terran Nations. ^.^

    NsLeCj1.png

I also made a red colour variation of the Vengeance:

    TWBDGtz.jpg

And a TSRC (Terran Space Research Corporation) Security Fleet variation of the Endeavour: (it has plasma weapons instead of Mass drivers)

What do you guys think? :D

  10. Hi.

This is a small issue, but I thought I'd post it anyway...

Sometimes I notice (mostly on Corpus ship tilesets) the textures on the walls, floor, and props are low-resolution despite maximum graphics settings. Warframe and mob textures remain normal resolution...Restarting the game fixes the issue and the textures are back to the full-resolution.

Does anyone else notice this or is it just me?

    Thanks.

    Pine.

  11. I'm getting same colour glitching with Torid gas clouds...

    GTX 670 SLI, driver 326.80

    i7 2600K

    Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

edit: the strange contrasting colours seem to happen when a light source or emissive texture is rendered behind the cloud; fire for example, or one of those glowing wall panels

  12. Frankly, that the forced wait period is unnecessarily frustrating and doesn't, in the slightest, improve the experience one bit.  I'll not feel good about completing it, I'll feel relieved that I don't have to deal with it anymore.  I won't look forward to the next one, I'll hate that I'm forced to if I want to more forward.  All the forced wait makes me do is hate it.  That's it.  Remove that and I wouldn't be complaining, I'd be running it until I've mastered it.

    Agreed.

Since I'm rank 6 ... I'm seriously not looking forward to this Wallrunning test... because I royally suck at Wallrunning. T_T

  13. I actually like your "Storage Raid" idea. But it needs to be challenging. Maybe puzzles like in the void to unlock some of the rooms, and some pretty tough enemies guarding them. I'd like to work for the materials I collect, makes it more satisfying when you finally get enough.

I also agree with the increased drop amounts of materials from higher level missions, but rates should stay the same

So, for example with nano spores, there would be one more spore for every level of the enemy starting from the base drop amount, at level 20, maybe? So, fighting level 50 enemies would yield 30 more spores, and so on. Obviously the amounts would be different for other mats.

  14. "So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself"

-Sun Tzu, The Art of War

So I agree, immersion is something that I really feel is needed more with Warframe. I love this game, but I do feel immersion lacking in some areas. It would be nice to maybe feel something for the enemy, to perhaps understand them better. Hence why I'm super-excited about the aforementioned story system =)

  15. He needs a scare factor back, a reason to fear him, yet overcome him.

I still get that stomach feeling when the screen flickers, lol, even though I've killed him more times than I remember... He left an impression on me when I was new to the game :D

But he does need a little rework to bring his reputation back up to something that's not "Something else to farm".

Simple solution: Make him playable by random players.

It would be like a personal alert that would only pop up for a single player and cannot be shared with the rest of the team.

You will spawn as a stalker inside a level with full control over his abilities and weapons.

Have fun taking apart a team of Tenno with your superiour gear and skill and making their life hell. Bounty included.

Have fun tricking a player-controlled Stalker with Ash's invisibility and Excal's slashdash.

    Everybody is happy!

Haha, when I first started playing with my friend, we had this theory that the Stalker was actually a DE admin who jumps online to hunt players down. Kinda lost the effect when he glitched inside a wall though.
