  1. If that 60% stacked with mods like Steel Fiber, would it not be a little too much resistance?

Though the elemental resistance mods right now are a little useless, when they add more enemy weapons that do a certain elemental damage, I think they will come into effect more.

"Danger Close" sounds like a good mod idea, though I don't think 90% is good, maybe 30%, as it takes out one of the balancing aspects of weapons like Ogris, so you can't just shoot the ground below you for instant CC.

  2. This has happened to me a couple of times.

One of the times, we managed to kill the little blighter by going below that tile, to the one below it and using Frost's Avalanche after some intricate wall running/climbing, as he was clipping through the ceiling. But that was just lucky as there was a tile directly below him.

  3. The Random Number Generator is just being silly... As it often is.

I've managed to get most Warframe Component BPs from only a dozen or so runs of their respective boss, but the Saryn Systems eluded me for what seemed like hundreds of attempts. I'd be very interested in knowing where the seed for Warframe's RNG comes from...

I also got pretty much everything from the void in under ~30 T2/3 runs.

Also, congratulations, Blossome =) It's a fine blade indeed

  4. I can kinda see where he's coming from.

The Grineer do like to troll....

I remember someone making a point somewhere about being able to shoot Scorpions whilst they pull you over, that would be a good idea... But I still never get why this small, fragile looking unit can knockdown and drag a massive, hulking Rhino or Frost as if they're nothing.

I'm not massively bothered, to be honest. They die like all the others, but I can see where he's coming from with irritating ways of making enemies harder.

  5. Agree, tougher enemies should yield considerably more affinity

But personally, I level up my gear on more difficult planets simply because I prefer the challenge and it makes leveling up more interesting

  6. I don't think mobs should be smaller, but I like the idea of new units and more variety, of course. Part of what makes the game enjoyable for me is feeling like a bada$$, killing hordes of grunts is so satisfying (I'm not going to lie) :D. I'd hate to lose that.

So basically I'd say keep the hordes of weaker units, but increase the variety of the more powerful 'mini-boss' type units. And perhaps make them more challenging.

  7.  the Game is heavily Single-threaded.

    Yep.

I can only assume that DE will be forced to tweak the engine to optimise for multi-core performance, given that they wish to move to the PS4, which runs on a relatively low-power octa-core setup. Hopefully, therefore, whatever they do for that is brought over to PC also.

Exactly. The PC version needs some multi-core optimisation love too.

I hate getting sub-par FPS on Warframe due to CPU bottleneck, especially when I'm clocked to 4.8 GHz (2600K).

  8. I've encountered this issue a lot recently. Just in a mission now where it happend... Problem is I just polarised my frame and have no powers, so I can't use an ability to 'unlock' it.

    =(

EDIT: Hacking a terminal fixed it for me just now

  9. I just wanted to make a topic to say thank you to DE for creating and continuing to develop Warframe. I hope this doesn't sound cliché, but it is truly my favourite game right now. It is an awesome game, it's fun and challenging at the same time, the visuals are awesome and no other game that I've played makes me feel as badass. Seriously, it's major thing for me. I'm a super space-ninja and it's freakin' awesome.

170+ hours of game time (and growing) ... and not a single sign of boredom. Not many games can do that for me.

    <3 Warframe soooooo much.

Thanks DE. It makes me so happy because I know that Warframe has a bright future ahead of it.

    :)

  10. I feel a sense of duty purging infested from existence. It is a plague that must be stopped.

As for the Grineer and Corpus? I tend not to let such thoughts cloud my mind when I slaughter entire ships of them. I have a purpose, and that is to eliminate the enemies of the Tenno, whoever the Lotus decides those enemies are.

  11. In-game name: PineappleJuice

Steam Name: I will PM you

Reason: Access to shiny clan toys :3 , being part of a team, somewhere to contribute my surplus mats :D

Anything else: ... um ... I enjoy purging infested...? Uh... Yeah. :3

  12. But the cable management is really messy though.

ikr.... I'll sort it out when I buy some cable sleeves and ties... ;)

I want to get some black sleeves for the cables, similar to the ones that come pre-installed on corsair PSUs, because the red and yellow cables for the fans clash. :3

  13. Yay, PC time ;D       <3

CPU: Intel Core i7 2600K OC'd to 5 GHz (1.43v) Without HyperThreading (got too hot with it) - Though I'm currently running at 4.2 GHz (1.24v) because Warframe runs fine on that, and it makes less heat in this weather...

Motherboard: Asus Maximus IV Extreme (P67, LGA 1155)

    RAM: 8GB (2x 4GB) Corsair Vengeance DDR3 @ 1600MHz

Graphics: 2x Gigabyte WF3 GTX 670 2GB in SLI (One card for PhysX with Warframe) OC'd to 1241 / 1202 MHz respectively in SLI. and 1280MHz on the first card out of SLI mode., and 6.4GHz eff. Mem. in SLI, 6.9GHz non-sli mode...

PSU: Corsair HX850 Proffesional Series 850W

Storage: OCz Agility 3 60GB SSD (games), OCz Vertex 2 120GB (OS), Seagate 500GB 7200 RPM (Storage, games that don't need SSD)

    Case: Antec 600

Cooling/fans: Corsair H80i CPU Water Cooling Loop, 5x Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm, 1800RPM fans, 1x 200mm Top Exhaust fan

Storage: Some really sloooow 5200rpm 600 GB drive :(

  14. I like this :D

I especially like the consumable selection wheel bit... I find the current consumable selection menu in-game to be a little hard to use, especially when you're fighting a million enemies and there are explosions and powers all over the screen...

Am I missing something, or do you *have* to use the cursor to use a consumable? Because I can never find the cursor and have to wait for like 3 seconds frantically moving the mouse so I can see it (because it always seems to move from where I left it... :s) And those Toxic Ancients don't wait for me to throw out Team Heals! ;D
