After putting the Incarnon Genesis on my not-prime Burston (just because I like it), I noticed that the stats that regular Burston gets from the incarnon tier upgrades, are the same as the stats that Burston Prime gets.
This doesn't ruin anything - it's still a good gun - but most other incarnon upgrades grant better tier upgrade stats for the lower quality/regular version of weapons. For example, Mk1-Braton gets a higher crit boost from its tier upgrades compared to Braton Vandal. So I think it'd make sense in this case for the regular Burston to get more from the tier upgrades than Burston Prime.
