  1. Experienced this too, funnily enough, in a T1 Void Capture mission as well. My Djinn Sentinel just started attacking me for some reason, and my squad mates noticed that they could attack me as well, and vice-versa. I couldn't die though because of Rage-Quick Thinking combo, so it was an agonizing trip to extraction. Managed to kill my sentinel half-way through with Brakk's spread. That was a really fun, albeit bizarre bug. x_X

  2. Met him a few times again yesterday. One time, I was in a group of 3 with decently geared clan mates and we got him down to less than half health in a matter of seconds. For some reason though, he still went into his invulnerable state and we ended up not being able to damage/kill him. So not sure now how this "enrage" of his is triggered. Apparently it's not related to time at all. Not even sure if this is an intended mechanic for him or not, or just simply a bug.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

And also, you can successfully scan the Stalker, but he won't appear on your Codex at all. "What Stalker?" indeed. lol

  3. Killing him should be very do-able solo with Rage + Quick Thinking, got him down to about half health in the video in 20 minutes. Used quite a lot of ammo restores though. Was just unlucky to have had newly forma-ed guns with me at the time. >.<

But yeah, with or without those mods, he's pretty insane at the moment, but not at all impossible to take down. Just don't take too long like I did. :)

  4. I was minding my own business running a solo mission of the Alad V event, when the stalker came out. He's been buffed by A LOT. Under normal circumstances, I would've died right away, but luckily, I had Rage and Quick Thinking on for the almost invincible effect. While the Stalker couldn't kill me, I couldn't kill him fast enough either since I only had a newly forma-ed Rank 16 Soma and Rank 7 Acrid with me. I could've pulled it off, but it seems like he now has a new Enrage timer/Berserk mode as you'll see in the video. After about 20 or minutes of him spawning, he starts casting Absorb like Nyx, and goes into an invincible state. So I just ended up running away from him and finishing the mission.

  6. Here we have my current favorite melee weapon - the Dakra Prime. For those of you who don't have it yet, the BP and parts drop from Orokin Void Exterminate missions. The base BP drops from tier 1, the handle from tier 2/3 (but more often in tier 2) and the blade from tier 2/3 (but more often in 3). To craft and use, the Dakra Prime requires all those aforementioned parts, a whopping 15 Orokin Cells, and mastery rank 6.

More info on the Dakra Prime can be found in this wiki page: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Dakra_Prime

Going back to the builds, I think I've come up with two very potent load-outs for the Dakra Prime. The first build is a normal attack build, which is what most people would try and run with.

    "Normal Attack Build"

    (Load-out A.) ZUy3TBP.jpg?1

Mods: Max Fury, Max Molten Impact, Max Pressure Point, Max Sundering Strike, Max Spoiled Strike, Max Melee Channel, Max Rending Strike, and Max Focus Energy. Total mod capacity used: 59/60 (considering Darka Prime's 2 natural "V" and "-" polarities.)

    - Some of the mods are self-explanatory (e.g. Max Fury/Pressure Point). I went with all elementals except for Ice since it only adds 60% Ice damage for a whopping 11 mod capacity requirement. Molten Impact for Fire damage; Focus Energy for Electric damage and charge speed (better than a normal electric mod as they both give the same amount of electric damage, but Focus Energy has the added bonus of increasing charge speed and has less mod capacity requirement to use); Sundering Strike for Armor Piercing element; Rending Strike for even more Armor Piercing and some Charged Attack bonus. Spoiled Strike (new corrupted mod from Orokin Derelict Vaults) adds 100% more melee damage in exchange for 20% less attack speed (which is pretty much negated by a max Fury mod that adds 60% more attack speed - the end result is still a pretty quick attack speed). Melee Channel is a personal preference since I use skills a lot and the bonus damage given via this mod from spending energy racks up pretty fast. If you don't like Melee Channel, you can replace it with a Max Reflex Coil or a Max Reach. With this build, your normal attacks will be doing some insanely good and quick damage even against mid-high level, targets. Thanks to the 2 natural polarity slots, there's no need to Forma the Dakra Prime at all (although a catalyst is a must).

    "Charged Attack Build"

    (Load-out B.) cbFSaOu.jpg?1

Mods: Max Killing Blow, Max Molten Impact, Max Fury, Max Sundering Strike, Max Corrupt Charge, Max Reflex Coil, Max Rending Strike, and Max Focus Energy. Total mod capacity used: 60/60 (considering Darka Prime's 2 natural "V" and "-" polarities.)

    - This makes use of almost the same mods as the first build, but replaces Pressure Point with Killing Blow, Spoiled Strike with Corrupt Charge, and Melee Channel with Reflex Coil. A charge build might seem odd on a Dakra Prime which has a pretty lackluster base charge damage of 80. If you take into account some of Dakra Prime's attributes though, it's not a bad idea at all. First, it has a quick base charge time of 0.6 seconds. (almost as fast as an Orthos Prime which has a 0.5 second charge time). With Reflex Coil and Focus Energy, that's a 100% increased charged speed, taking down the charge time to a super fast 0.3 seconds. With the new mod, Corrupt Charge however, which decreases charge speed by 28% (the mod text says that it decreases "Heavy charge speed" by 28%, but it apparently also affects non-heavy melee weapons), it'll take that 0.3 second charge speed up to 0.432 seconds - not a bad tradeoff for 100% more charge damage though. Secondly, despite Dakra Prime being a "longsword", it has the ability to hit up to 3 targets (like dual-longswords), while most longswords can only hit 1, and heavy weapons, 5. And lastly, since it IS a longsword with a decently fast base attack rate (1.3 atks/sec), you'll be able to use it quite well for mobility. Charge damage may not be the best, but with Killing Blow, Rending Strike, and Corrupt Charge, that's an increase of 310% charge damage.

In the end, the Dakra Prime isn't the best, go-to melee weapon out there for a specific task. It's more of a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none kind of weapon. The most comparable melee weapon to it for me would be the Dual Ethers (which is also pretty much a "jack-of-all-trades"). It has 25 less base normal damage (but is serrated blade), 0.1 slower attack rate and 20 more base charge damage. While Dakra Prime isn't the best melee weapon out there, I think it's the most balanced and versatile one of them all, and I have a lot of fun using it.

And it looks damn sexy... How can you go wrong with sexy? :)

  7. Is the 20 minutes cumulative over multiple runs or does it have to be 20 minutes in one go?

It has to be in one go. You can check your personal-best record under your profile by clicking on your name/status bar on the upper-left side of the menu screen along with records of the other past weekend events you participated in. If you have 20 minutes or more listed there under Survival, you should be eligible for all the rewards, as advertised. Good luck. :)

  8. Sold my Skana. Kind of annoyed that I have to craft it, rather than just buy it. 500 Plastids and over a 1000 alloy plates just to recreate a starter weapon? Ridiculous.

Sold my Skana a long time ago, way back in early beta, without getting it to 30 yet. Never really thought twice about it, then I saw this thread and searched for the wiki for the crafting materials needed to make it and was blown away. The Skana won't be a priority for me anytime soon it seems. Plastids are too precious a resource to prioritize spending them on the Skana.

  9. I use it all the time for various situations. Excalibur's mobility is crazy good thanks to Slash Dash and Super Jump. I find that I can navigate through the maps a lot faster on Excalibur than on any other frame. While neither is required to move around efficiently, both just make Excalibur extremely fun to move around with, and help you clear those large vertical or horizontal gaps with ease (without the need for something like the Dual Zorens). As JDP04 pointed out, with max Streamline, it's extremely cheap to use and with a Heavy Impact mod, you'll find even more use for it. With a maxed super jump, max focus, and a Pendragon helmet, you'll be able to reliably trigger heavy impact since it'll go to as high as 11m I believe. :)

Super Jump really is quite an underrated skill. It's either you hate it or you love it, and in my case, I love it. It's my favorite Warframe skill, bar none. :D
