  1. Something to consider:

    Frames: Netza, Nyx, Atlas, Titania, Wukong, Chroma, Khora, Mirage requires some attencion, if not buff then some quality of life changes. That is a lot of frames. Chances that 8,5% Saryns will move to this frames is low, however some will do since the playstyle would fit more. Saryn will still be toxic, but there will far less players with them.

  2. Ember suggestion is not bad. But two most hot important issues are:

    • Fireball firepach has more player energy colour not just general blackness of abyss
    • Flash Accelerand does not chance weapon damage to complex one. Just add fire as separete element, even if there is already gas or radiation.
  3. The thing with Saryn is that she is good in modes with steady supply of mobs, like Onslaught, Survival, Excavetion, sometimes Defense. And she is better at higher levels when mobs take a sec to die. It happens that these are pupular modes.

    Also she have decoy with self heal, and dps. Also can strip armour. No fancy CC, no flashy buffs. Just keep your health high, and enemies health low. And that is good combination. Not only in Warframe but in party. Since there are other frames who can bring CC or buffs, and having frame which just keep dpsing and doesnt get downed too often is good thing.

    Good thing she is not fast at low levels (Excalibur is better) so does not break the game for newcomers.

    Nerfing Saryn will just increase popularity of:

    a) Volt, Excalibur, Mesa, Equinox, Octavia

    b) Titania, Atlas, Wukong, Netza, Ember

    Pick your bet.

     

  4. For me worked Oberon and Reneval, Flow. Some reach. Some power. Efficiency also good. Could also use Trinity/Oberon spectre or ancient healer.

    Weapon Ignis with gas and some critical/status. Whatever you like. AOE Gas + Radiation could be fun. Staticor. Atomos as secondary.

    Saturn Caracol is perfect midground of difficulty and % for harrow parts.

    Solo is hard, not becouse it is hard, but since you need second pal to run to B/C. Most pugs was good enuff. All you need them to run bring at least 1 dude in last phase.

    If you can host squad that could be even better. Oberon + saryn is even better.

    In pug start and ask if 8 rounds.

    I got mine in 14 runs, most pugs good, only 1 silent team.

  5. Just wait for 75% discount, it will come. You can try not login for a couple days and then be returning player. But i am generally gifted with 70% every 2 weeks.

    Just spend your usual amount for video game. 2500p could last for really long.

    If you want to farm, Orokin Derelic is probably best if you can find squad for that. Mods from there go for like 50p from single run, you cant really do better than that.

  6. Bigger problem is endless mission with silent pug which doesnt communicate how long wants to play at all. Just keep going. So if you get what you wanted you are trapped.

    As for how dare you play survival for 5 min? For example getting 1 neural sensor or other small number of resources or leveling that last item to 30.

    For that reason join survival much less.

    It would be great if there was an option to single person extract from survival/excavetion in similar pattern to defensive mission.

  7. Having a choice of couple items is nice.

    However there is a problem with Primed Mods being so far off. With Zenistars there are alternatives, with primed mods they are best at what they do.

    Solution would be adding them to the Baro shop. And if we get some from tributes milestone then we can always pick riven mod or something.

  8. On Excalibur Vitality + Steel FIber is good. 2 defensive mods are fine.

    Without Steel FIber Exc dmg reduction is 42%

    With full maxed Steel Fiber 85%

    If u are low on endo (mods level) then max steel fiber is out of reach, so Vigor could be better.

  9. For the record abillity to somehow generate energy orbs is very good. It is very good on Mage frame. It is very good in warframe since it is rare to have health/energy support frames (but we have more and more inmortal dps frames which is nice).

    However the Mags pull energy orb creation is mythical. If it triggers after death from loot table it also can steal farm resources.

    Solution:

    • Orb chance is rolled before damage is taken from live mob, seperate from death loot table.
    • Make it something like 5%, so it will be visible without spamable.

    Mag pulls enemies that hard that tear up their life energy out of their corpus (Garuda likes it).

    It shouldnt even require "rework"

  10. Pleanty of frames have bad passives. Sometimes it doesnt matter (Rhino) otherwise it adds insult to injury.

    And Ember is example of being nerfed due to vox populi, which doesnt solve the first problem, but she was nerfed and community had been listened. (Overextended Rush for the win)

    Her passive is bad and does not work well with her other abillities. Not only being set on fire is a rare thing, but the energy back is low, and if we happen to have WoF on it takes 0 effect.

    So idea of fire immunity would be still situacional, but at least it will be good when it happens.

  11. One BIG problem with login rewards are primed mods. Even with Zenistar it is cool weapon, but there are other cool weapons, and you can use only one melee anyway.

    However with primed mods, if you want to use Vigor in your build primed vigor is the best version of it. And there is no reason or alternative to use non primed vigor.

    Solution: Make Baro sell all primed mods. So "seasoned" players could buy them from Baro and from login rewards pick riven mods, forma pack, or reactor (there is never enought of these).

  12. There may be a thing that Mag is ok if played natural (Pull and Crush enemies for the win). And starts to to be good if you are using projectile weapon, syndicate mods, and focus on that efficiency.

    I would not call for rework, since that is dramatic, and there is no base for that. However tweaks, are always needed.

    Tweaks:

    • Make her passive trigger at more parcour actions, like backflips, aim glide, wall runs.... so there will be more effect.
    • Make Pull energy orb spawn significant or at least spottable. SInce 25% of low is still low. However dont sabotize oxium farm. Ideally have separete chance to generate blue orb per mob affected (but more like 5% per mob not 25%)
    • Put some control on Pull ragdoll madness, and stop slingshotting mobs behind us. The idea is to have them knocked down around mag in 4m radius.
    • Make Crush spawn shards, if you started with make shard use shard mechanic stick to it like magnet.
    • Pull carry unused (non magnetized) shards for extra slash damage (capped or not).

    I had idea of giving damage reduction during parcour stunts, however that could swich theme, maybe would suit to Wukong or something. Also there is a proud tradition of underwhelming passives. Nevertheless it would be nice if practice mached description, and i want to see that orbs!

  13. There is an augment for Crush Fracturing Crush which rips 50% of armour, which is good.

    However there is a problem of all the augments, and if without augment frame is really bad, and augment is must have. So basicly we have frame with one less mod slot.

    Can argue that Fracturing Crush is not augment tax, since it is great at high level grineer but otherwise not needed.

    For future design: Good frame should have one abillity with flat damage for low levels, and one good abillity which scales very good into 100lv.

  14. In Survival and Excavetion it is real pain when you are ready to go, but rest team keeps doing, and do not even communicate how or are they humans or bot.

    Would be great if we can self extract as in defense missions.

    Note: At least in Plains of Eidelon you can leave squad and then move to exit (or go fishing).
