  1. Assuming we are talking solo here:

The frame is really irrelevant given the use of naramon, unless it's Nekros or Ivara. My 1000 member clan just did 2 of these survivals as clan events with very substantial plat prices and in no instance was a a frame that wasn't Nekros or Ivara in the top 10. Life support is the one and only issue, without a looter frame you run out of it at the latest around a hour 30 min regardless of weapon. With one, but without covert lethalithy, I think around 2 hours 40 min is the absolute max.

As a side note, at 2 hours 30 min the enemy levels are around the 400 mark and no, nothing melts enemies at those levels.

  2. Having done a few 2 hour + survivals lately with different setups, I can confirm that's it's definitely not broken by my standard (the only thing that is is covert lethalithy). After about an hour 15 min and level 140 enemies it is pretty useless, and even things like the Atterax fall of quickly shortly thereafter.

What it IS is another simulor/mirage, annoying as hell to everyone on your team at lower levels.

  3. My two cents about this issue:

Say you see someone with a Vengeful Revenant. You can conclude one of 3 things.

    1. They got very lucky

    2. They spent plat, which ultimately is real money

    3. The worked for it by grinding

Now say you see someone with a Soma/Tonkor/Synoid etc. Riven mod. You can conclude

    1. They got very lucky

    2. They spent plat

There is no option 3 anymore, and this, to me, is the problem. The quest is non repeatable, you can do sortie once every 24 hours and right now it looks like the drop rate is somewhere between 7% and 0.2% (just from surveys, no one has the actual percentage and it's too early to give a more accurate estimate).

You can grind to reroll, but there is NOTHING you can do outside of the 20-40 min per day doing the sortie to actually get one. And even if the drop chance is as high as 7%, your time would be better spent making alt accounts and rushing to sedna to do main quest again.

I believe this is a first in warframe, and a development I don't like. You can argue that legendary cores are in the same category, but ultimately they're just a sum of endo, you can farm that.

  4. Pleeeeaaaassseeee! I hate this combo so so much, and NOT for the cheese. I'm fine with a bladestorm ash or a magnetize mag on my team but the bloody sound and balls and mirage copies everywhere .... it makes my head hurt. I just did a 20 excavator run with with a simulor/mirage and I had to mute the sound after the 2nd excavator, and I couldn't see anything as I was CC and stayed close to excavator, surrounded by simulor balls in every direction. The simulor fx/sound is 80% of the problem, but since the mirage/simulor combo is so popular the extra eye rape from the 5 mirages running around is just too much.

The same feeling applies for a vauban spamming bastille with garish colors, but since you see that much less frequently than the simulor/mirage combo I'll complain about that a different day

Other than the fact that they just run around the map spamming out shots in every corner of every room. It is by far one of the most annoying things I've experienced in this game so far. It makes the tonkor seem like a skill based weapon.

I dont mind the combo so much for the cheese as the **** annoying visuals and sound. Having the screen filled with the bloody balls and mirages 1 and the ear numbing pew-pew-pew drives me nuts

  6. Yeah this was not the right thing to do on DE's part. I had about 400 keys total, and I had more than 10 of each giving access to every mag, boar and dakra part. Now I have access to ZERO, not a single of my converted relics give access to a single part of mag, boar or dakra

It's... acceptable.  Magnetize feels too small to me even with max range, and Polarize doesn't do as much damage as I would have hoped, but her kit does have potential.

When I looked at the numbers updating her build for these missions I thought the same thing (well, I thought the numbers looked disappointing, not acceptable). And even during the missions I thought the same thing .... "This isn't all that effective". I was surprised to see the damage and kill numbers at the end of the missions. I think possibly the fact that the kills aren't instant anymore, like we're used to with Mag, makes her new 2 and 3 seem less effective than they really are.

But again I only have a few missions under my belt ... this was my gut reaction after those

I dont necessarily say I "love" the rework but its decent. I liked my Corpus BoogyMag, but the rework was needed so she wasnt just a 1 faction 1 button "ggwpMKIW" frame.

I liked the Corpus BoogieMan as well, but considering this as a rework and not expecting it to be a straight buff I'm very happy (so far anyways). She went from killing everything 1/3 of the time, to doing a very god job killing things 100% of the time.

  9. Just some quick observations from running 4 missions with new mag. Did the 20 round defense alert twice with a 4 man team, failed at wave 15 in the first one with 51% of the kills and succeeded in the second with 42% of the kills. Forma'ed and did a draco run starting at level 0, we can disregard that one. Next run starting at level 16 got 41% of the kills in a 4 man team.

Very very preliminary but ... if you work her 2 and 3 (and sometimes even 4) together this is all I had hoped for.

    Anyone else love the rework?
