  1. I would like to know if someone else is getting random petting animation when trying to change your pet, or am I target of their friendly dream team?

Is it their way of reaction to request of making the menus more enhanced? If yes, then I guess I was correct about my feelings about them...

I'm sorry DE I did enjoy part of your game that much that I wanted it to be even better, it will not happen again, I promise!

  2. The only problem I have with Lich is "gathering information" where it takes too long with no progress graduation. And that has no explanation with anything else but "time sink" which is everlasting plaque for Warframe. And if you tell them what they could change, they just do the opposite - when there was a quest attached to a warframe for the last time? They didn't deliver even the last one promised.

That is what is wrong with Warframe - from small fun to play regular updates they said themselves that is the best for Warframe - it was changed to big projects with risky results and boring generic forced daily grind.

  3. It doesn't matter anymore - I was so happy to getting involved in this pet staff, but it looks like DE doesn't want me to enjoy their game, so whatever, let them have 100 stasis all in one 1 tab for players who have a lot of pets - they will not implements this anyway.

They have all the annoying features players complained about in other games, but hey they are so good, they don't have lootboxes!

Because they will listen to hateful players who are like nazi - they don't want others to enjoy games. And who quite often turn out to be devs from a different studio...

  4. So Warframe was praised for not having annoying announcements - that I can click on news when I want it - why it changed? It looks like devs are so eager to share all the annoying features from other games and then they are "surprised" that players are angry.

So if it will make you happy - thanks for making my day worse and I guess it is all worthy of having good relationships in gaming industry... Also you can share all the fun with angry gamers...

Adding daily was 1 sign, then annoying UI sound without UI sliders to turn it off, then annoying announcements without possibility to turn it off is another one....

And Steve could say in another devs stream how we shouldn't be ironical - irony is the only reaction left if this is what you get with sharing your wishes.

I just wish they would do away with the whole stasis system all together. It really doesn't make sense unless you have more than 1 pet. And your pet shouldn't need to be put into stasis anyway. Think about it, your operator is always on the ship. They never leave the ship so why do you have to put your pet into stasis ever. Are they incapable of taking care of your pet. By the same token then, we should have to put the operator into stasis when we are not in the game. But we don't have to do that, so why do we need to put our pet into stasis. They should just roam the ship. Or lay on a bed in our room when not in a mission.

I don't use a pet for this very reason. Would like to but it is just way easier to use a sentinel. Maybe before the operator joined the ship, stasis was necessary. But now that the operator is always on the ship, stasis is obsolete. Or at least it should have become obsolete. Stasis should only be required when you have more than 1 pet. You should be allowed to have 1 pet that never needs to be put into stasis.

Exactly - because of the hunting mods set I started to search for good warframes fitting pets, I fell in love with Oberon and his passive. But the other pets would be great as well, but then I realized that any other pets are gone for me - I wouldn't take the effort to put pets out of stasis, then back again - I would choose only 1 which is a shame, such a waste of all the other ones.

    Just get the Nutrio segment?

I have one, still I would prefer to have builds set to go and not to search through all kinds of pets to find the right one if I don't use it for some time...

  7. It is sound with UI - if I close ui there is and scratching sound, there is even double time sometimes - I don't need to be alerted of this, so I wish they wouldn't bother me with it.

But it looks like they are fine with UI sound being annoying :(.

And it is the same for both themes - it wasn't there before.

  8. 1. I would like to be able to choose 1 pet for 1 warframe like it is possible with sentinels.

I get why there are stasis - because of breeding and overflow, but my idea is that you need only 1 active pet from each type.

So please, would it be possible to have another tab in pet UI where would be listed our active pets in each category we have unlocked? and have stasis for all the "duplicates".

This way I could have Raksa for my Oberon, Sunika for my headshot build, Sahasa for someone with less energy etc.

And also it would be great if those "active" pets could be in a pet's room and only 1 would be in that "working" place - like it is with sentinels.

    2. could there be more of pets/patterns unlockable in the game?

Like those animals we hunt - could we have their tenno version?

Also more of furs unlockable in the game through gameplay - buying those feels so cheap, I would rather buy armors and unlock skins, but most of armors are not really cool.

  9. Jade skin may not be the best, but atleast if done a bit more extreme, it looks different than most of female warframes lately - Octavia or original Ivara had unique concepts, not just different messy materials on the same woman model. I really wish there would be more of disproportional models with cool idea behind matching what the warframe is about.

For me it doesn't scream Equinox, but a good version of Khora Prime - only the material they showed in devstream today looks like tinfoil and what tinfoil has anything to do with hunter?

  10. That OP sounds like an ordinary daily from other online games with content - or what it used to be as bonus xp challenge in missions, which is working fine with rewarding currency for all dailies the same and vendor selling things you can buy, so you wouldn't have to do thing you don't care about for rewards you don't care about feeling like total waste of time.

My idea was if they could work also with the background story more - like it was in Guild wars 2 living journal - let Nora announcing every day what is happening in the story, it would progress only if you would log in that day and if you wouldn't make it in time, it would be moved into quests, where you could return to it any time.

The missions would be 1 per a day and it would follow the background story in ordinary missions/challenges with explanation from Nora, like:

The child is now under protection of syndicate, which needs your assistance, and that would give you task: do 1 syndicate mission. Or basically any other mission could be explained similar way.

That way they could cycle their content daily for players who need something to do, it wouldn't be time consuming for players who are focusing on something else

Challenge missions could be in arbitrations where it was intended to be and I was on their side when they required challenging content, but it feels for me that challenges in ordinary daily cannot be balanced for everyone, or I don't see how, so I wish hardcore players would stop pushing hard missions into something where it is hindering the game for others.

  11. The biggest problem is that there is no creativity except from the background story, it doesn't fit into the game, where is different content already and it is not optional - I didn't even hear who was behind this idea. The biggest strength of this game is to pursue crafting - I finally got to the point where I can buy bps on open zones and I played the whole day - there is nothing else I would be happy with in this game. Sadly not only they obviously don't care about feedback, because they changed almost nothing, but all the whiteknights from Tennocon are now on anyone who is complaining, so that is what it will be here now? Instead of changing it - they will just bash down or hide comments from anyone who oppose them?

You know that you have a week to complete the weekly challenges, right?

Also, i don't understand why the requirement of doing syndicate missions for the challenge is a bad thing.

Because I don't need it. I have a lot of other things to do in the new content. I feel incredibly bored there. Syndicate missions were never fun to do. Even when I started playing Warframe players had suggestions how to make it more different and interesting. DE didn't do anything - they just forced players to do it now.

OK, so it wasn't rised, but it wasn't lowered either... They just did the bare minimum. The same with daily killing 150 mobs in a certain way, or 200 - why? this is not about players spending their time in their game, it is forcing them to play the game a certain way. I asked before if focus could be gained for healing or supporting also, because even before it was a problem that some player got all the kills, because that is how it is the most efficient, they even nerfed Ember because of that, but now, this great daily is against cooperation, it is against playing with others and I guess it is DE answer to my question - if I can play this game as support : NO

Btw this great new wave is the worst I saw in any online games. It is timed event with timed rewards. taking your whole time also with rewards you cannot choose. Also in other games it is optional, here the rewards are almost on the same level like doing new zone.

And they do look like they don't care. But it is their game. If they want to annoy some players, they will just make their own game worse...

    Or they are Epicgamed...

I don't think the fishing team will be there, I have the feeling they will be busy doing syndicate missions over and over just when they thought it is over finally - it is never over for DE. Sorry Steve.

  13. So there is a new wave of their ugly wave and it is as awful as before - the worst part is to see how they are lying and they don't care about ruining the game for some players - like "look we did listen to you!" - naming 1 feature they added/changed, then they quietly rise the number of syndicate missions you have to do per a week, while you would like to do something totally else... They locked the best rewards behind it to make sure you will feel awful it. Thank you DE, you are so great...

  14. I was trying to sum up after I slowly realized that I don't like plains even it was something I wished for. Since I started to play Warframe I wished to leave those small tunnels and see the world. The first plains was like my dream alive - I could run around, I saw that interesting village, looking overal the way as I was imagining. Also fishing, cutting, all those village like activities supported that feeling of being finally incorporated into the world of Warframe's Earth. But then after a few bounties, events took me only to 3rd rank of Centron standing, I realized there is nothing else fun to do and there is still more than 200K reputation I should get, which was more that I got with all the fun part. I was expecting with the boss fight, it will be the way how to get remaining amount of reputation, but instead it became another the same amount of reputation to get, only with 1 mission to do over and over. I still loved the plains but I knew I will never come to the end and with that I left plains.

Sadly instead of dealing with that problem that some players don't like plains, DE decided to change plains into pile of strangely wet looking clay, so it is not even cool there anymore.

After that Venus came, where it was not only the same exact pattern, but also 3rd boss full reputation was added. So sadly all the cool remained in the village/outpost again, and outside - I don't even like how Venus landscape looks like. There are cool mushrooms, caves, some lakes, but the rest is just boring. I was hoping for lavas of hot underground bursting from underground - as a yellow contrast to the white snow everywhere, but it just all just static and quiet. I wished for some missions that would get me the feeling I'm fighting against corporation, but it is just the same bland missons with annoying CC mobs.

I wish DE would go back to the original reason why players wanted something like plains and expanded on that instead.

    1. players like it is more static, slower than tunnels run, so some of them may like all the fishing/mining, but the reputation gain is almost 0. It became slowly better with the tracking missions and with racing, but I wish there would be more like that.

    2. the missions there are exactly the same as in tunnels, only you have to run around a lot, so you don't even enjoy the plains and I have technical issues on Venus all the time.

so I wish there would be different, more solo missions with different goals.

    3. if you want to change something on Earth plains, please do not change vegetation, change the grineer outposts. If it was meant to be savanna, it will not be more interesting if you add a few trees? What about something like from savanna - like really big strangely looking tree, or maybe even some more strangely looking grineer outpost - not just military looking, but less realistic - like a hive or something like that.

I have heard that someone said that plains are step in a wrong direction and after some thinking I realized that for me it is not the plains itself, it is the reputation mechanism without shortcuts with nothing really cool to get.

The worst is that DE response was to create daily forced grind with no content or purpose as their way how to deal with that problem. Or maybe with the problem that players don't spend enough of time in their game. Warframe is a very fast game. You finish a mission in a few minutes and with a few kills. For some players it may be the reason why they play it. The only way how to force players to stay longer without longer missions is to make it annoying. Plains could be answer to that, but instead they created another problem.

I'm not a typical player of Warframe, so I don't know if someone else have the same problem.

  15. I like the new Jupiter boss fight, so I regret that without grind there I will not do it again after I will get all the drop. The only chance is Sortie.

So I was thinking: the only reason players do some mission over and over is if there is non forced best drop of some wanted resources, or best xps, if they can choose which one they will do based on the best secondary drop they want. But all of it is now behind dark sector ordinary levels. So would it be good if boss fights would have some reusable good drop? I think it used to be 100% chance of rare resource of that certain planet, but after Ropalolyst dies players are instantly transported, so quite often I didn't get all the drop on the platform. But could they all drop something else reusable too?

  16. I like the lore behind and focus on a planet, but players already disliked dailies in other games, where wasn't another grind even, just force login reasons. But in Warframe I agree with those who say that for them it was about - it is grindy, but I will take my time how and when I will do it. and that is gone now.

Now it is not just grindy, it is another whip tool from other games - timed forced wasting of time doing content which has nothing new to offer and I don't feel like doing it.

I liked old alerts because it was a different feel - wait for what you want and get it - from the rest of the game. Now it is reworked to another syndicate grind, but timed with whip of loosing progress.

I get the problem that there are empty planets and no reason to go there, but I'm not sure if forcing players is the right way - I feel that as a terror and that is sad - is that what you wanted?

To let you know my reasons - why I don't play Venus Fortuna? Because I still didn't finish your previous Eidolon planes and I had technical issues in Fortuna. Also I don't feel like doing snowy plane during winter :p

So if I take your reasons - send players to a different planet than is his favourite, to have planet theme for a month and to ENCOURAGE them not force them to do something more daily -

what if you will lower your expectations/demands from player and instead make more of the planet story behind and make that really a month trip through a planet with those rewards staying for longer or have less of them for a month? You have around 18 planets, which some of them could be left out - that is 1 planet for a month with around 13 nodes, so that means 1 node per 2/3 days.

Now it is Saturn - escaped grineer prisoners from grineers.

if they are everywhere, it is not interesting, and it cannot be too deep, but maybe this will be an inspiration.

So lets say one of the nodes will be close to that prison and there the trip would begin with some % chance they will appear - spy node to search for them, defense node to defend from their attack, etc, which would require voice over and maybe different skin of grineer enemies. maybe you could even chose if you would help them instead and make grineers angry.

this way players always played more during events, so instead of bigger syndicate/planes grind, why not make a longer event?

    EDIT:

And I stopped to be interested in the game after you made Khora to be impossible to get with excuses about drop list and no quest after me and some other players complained about Nidus and Harrow grind, asking you not to do it again... So I guess this is your answer to anything - You don't want to do it? You dare to complain ? We will force you to do it... Instead of dealing with the problem you caused yourself (at least in my case) I wouldn't need any daily to play...

  17. When I saw the new warframes without stories I created my own. I'm not a writer, so this is just for fun:

    Khora
Cephalon fell in love with her. He saw her with some noble back then when Orokin ruled the world. She was beautiful in her hunting suit, her whip folded at her belt. She was substation of everything Cephalon held as perfect. She was strict and firm when walking around impatiently, playing with her whip, her deadly cat nuzzling her legs...
Then the war started, a lot of people died and her nor her lord he never saw again.
    But not in his dreams.
While he was drifting around his newly builded simulations and data constructions he never stop recreating again and again into perfection, he saw glint of her, he felt her prestence as she would be there, wandering around, the empty walls echoing furious cracking of her whip and far away ricochet of her voice calling her ventari to her in those rooms
    without life.
It drives him crazy! Someone has to go there and search the place to find if she is there at all. He even recreated her blueprint as a guide to see what could fit. Maybe some tenno...

    Barak
He was a legend of Venus. Yes, those robots had a legend of an unbeatable hero, walking the hills of Venus with a stick like some hermit. But if he ever stumbled upon evil, he fighted. Even Nef Anyo feared him. He could put asleep enemies he didn't want to fight, he could fight with his bare hands and he became furious when something was not right.
    So he became the legend.
None saw him for a long time, so they started to believe that he will show up when the time is worst and to honor him, Solaris United recreated him, to start an army of Baraks to scare Nef Anyo to death!

  18. You said that answer already yourself in your previous post :p Also I think some people may write it here rather on reddit or youtube (my case), so just ignore it if you didn't know him?

I wasn't sure if it will not be harder for them and for me too personally, but I'm so glad now they continue in what he started-it feels like he lives in that and I really was missing them. For me it is more like - you don't know what you have have until you lost it - that is even more wierd feeling to think about, right?

    EDIT:

I didn't say that right again, it is hard to describe.

  19. Sometimes I'm even glad for posts like this. I was thinking what can get me out of this mood and maybe such crazy folks like you can do it :p. Even if the original meaning was different :p

    EDIT:

it is great when they merge threads and suddenly all the answers doesn't make sense... it was reaction for this:

    Umm... I guess?

I honestly don't know their relationship with TB. If it is idolization this might explain it. There are just too many unknowns here.

Oh well, I reckon people here simply care and that's that. Thanks for the polite chat :)

I guess it is hard to understand if you wasn't involved and it is hard to explain for me either, because I know I shouldn't care that much if he was just a game critic for me, but:

    1. nobody should endure this,

    2. I also started playing Warframe because of TB review, so it is somehow connected.

    3. He was an important game critic and he will be missed

    4. many people lost someone close to them, so they don't wish that lost to anyone they know, so I really feel sorry for his wife, it has to be terrible.

    5. if anyone I know somehow like TB, who was such help for others, would die after such long fight, I would probably feel the same, so you don't have to feel like this is a theatre, because I don't think it is - he had big personality, he was one of a few who really didn't care what others think, always saying his honest opinion, you could really trust him, so I guess that personality will be missed. Many youtubers even if they are trying to be fair, you can see they have to cut off all the edges because they know it would be a problem, TB didn't do it and maybe that was the price he had to pay - the constant pressure for being controversial, and going against mainstream, big companies, but also against some not really nice players groups he started to disagree with, so now I wish more than ever TB would win his fight. Because so many players and devs in gaming industry, or generally people don't have really good character, there is always a big hole left after someone who have it.
