Wildfire - it gives 20% mag 60% heat  -_-  I understand its supposed to be about suppressing fire, but its worse than a 60/60 and less damage than a 90.

In my opinion it should be 50% mag 75-80% heat.

I'd give it 30% reload 30% mag 75% heat. I might actually use it on some bullet hose weapons if it gave me a noticeable reload+mag size QoL

  2. I don't mind the narrative being separate from the frames but I do prefer to use my frame to do the combat/movement parts of any content. Warframe gameplay was the reason I got into this game back in the day and its the only reason I keep playing, the more warframe related content they add the more of the game I get to enjoy.

People will sook about any new thing, that's how humans work but it doesn't mean they're necessarily wrong to have such opinions.

  3. All the prime access seems to do is deduct content from the game for a hefty pricetag so it seems like dreadful value to me.

The prime accessories are the only interesting part and there's no way to preview them so I'm not going to risk buying them. Maybe some day DE will let us color things, try them on and do some parkour with them before we have to commit to a purchase. A bit off topic but animation sets are the absolute worst for this, you have to go watch youtube showcase videos to see them and even then you have to guess if the way the character holds their limbs and guns results in rampant clipping with your syandana of choice.

Wait, does Silence disable the Legatus magnetic laser even through overguard??

Idk if it changed with the recent patched but before that it disabled all their special moves like the leaping moves for the scythes and the hovering barrage for the gun wielding ones along with the turning invuln and shooting lasers move, all they could do was walk up to smack you or shoot. It doesn't actually stun them though until you remove overguard.

Dual wielded pistols is another category I would also love to have more weapons for.

I'm amazed at how little weapon skins dagger has since weren't they popular at one point before covert lethality got nerfed?

Universal weapon skins are sorely lacking in many areas. We still only have one rifle skin while bows get 3!

  6. While we're complaining about open worlds can I just say how much I despise the old fishing now that I've gotten to experience maw feeding in duviri? It resembles an actual minigame instead of being a waiting simulator with rng, boring bait collecting, boring spear upgrades and boring day/night timegates. I usually like fishing minigames but warframe never hit the mark for me until now.

Unfortunately Lavos' arm guards also block the reticle while aiming with the epitaph which kinda hurts if you're using a dps epitaph.

Saryn's augment venom dose creates a low quality green particle around your characters right hand that blocks the reticle when you ADS most secondary weapons, both for you and any teammate you bless with the damage buff. Sometimes I wonder how these things make it to live.

  8. I'm holding out hope that vectis prime is stuck at its current 2/5 disposition not because the 0.74% usage and power warrants it but because they're planning to give it an incarnon down the line.

The gun absolutely needs negative mag size to use primed chamber and currently you need to high roll your riven to get enough reduction or settle for depleted reload. Most rolls at current dispo end up only around -20% mag size which isnt enough which is obviously very annoying and surely not an oversight or an accident.

  9. What if instead of 5 waves per rotation we got one big event of a wave with a miniboss at the end, kinda like a left 4 dead crescendo with a tank at the end and special infected throughout. To progress towards the miniboss whose death ends the wave simply kill regular goons and if thats too dull you can add parazon finishers, mirror defence crystals or whatever fits the theme to speed it up further. The objective should be immune to regular trash mobs but easily destroyed by special enemies or the boss if you let them get too close, similarly to disruption.

Currently defence is just waiting for enemies to trickle in, waiting between waves, waiting for rewards and when you have waited for long enough the enemy scaling implodes the obj instantly. The enemy density is rubbish, there is no tension, nothing to progress towards via gameplay, enemy variety increases abysmally slowly and the rewards are low to compensate for it being dull and too easy.

  10. Let's say the lineup in the cave is:
    - soma prime (my gun)
    - argonak
    - twin vipers
    - detron
    - gammacor
    - heat dagger
    - ankyros
    - cronus
I'm going to pick soma prime every time because its 20 times more effective than the entire rest of the selection so that's all the meaningful weapon decisions I got to make.

Now maybe this is a niche view but I don't play this game to feel weak and useless hoping my teammates can carry me for a few rounds. When I play SP circuit I'm looking to go as far as we reasonably can as a team, to focus on any other weapon the game just offered me would be to intentionally sabotage myself and the rest of the team. It shouldn't have to be this one-dimensional and dull. I know my arsenal of 60 or so weapons is not huge by any means but it should be enough to give me some variety.

Stop flooding me with "options" I'd be stupid not to ignore. Please.

  11. Spira - I think they could do something cool with the puncturing mini-drills. Having great crit stats dont save it when its dps is pathetic to begin with on top of firing slow arcing projectiles

Sicarus - surely they're not gonna ignore this classic hunk of junk. A burst pistol has potential to differentiate itself from lato, lex and vasto purely based on the trigger style.

  12. I just wish we had more options and more specialized ones especially. Duviri added some cool stuff for bows and shotguns but it'll be like 5 months before I get to play around with them at this rate. I'd love to see a sniper rifle arcane that's basically deadhead but instead of reduced recoil it gives me explosive headshots with a penalty to bodyshots to compensate.

  13. Seeing how 9/10 randos I see with a shield gate looking healthbar end up dying multiple times a mission I don't really think its that big of a deal. If anything they should make it easier so I don't have people leaving my endless grinds early because they're having a hard time with shieldgating. That's not to say shield gating isn't powerful in the right hands - it is - and I wish we had more mechanics like it so it's not a crutch so many frames and builds have to lean on.

  14. Would be nice if they gave an arcane slot to melees that gave them a unique move. Zaws are interesting thanks to exodia contagion, would love to see similarly gameplay-changing moves for other melees like

    - heavy melee shoots a projectile (like the duviri decree)

    - ground slam pulls enemies in based on drop height before dealing damage after a delay

    - slow light melee down to 1 swing per second but amplify damage based on swing speed

    - heavy melee draws aggro, increases block radius and blocking grants combo count

    - heavy melee is converted into a dash that grabs enemies on the way before striking all enemies grabbed

    etc.

  15. Circuit definitely makes me wish I could put stuff I don't want to roll into a storage box in my orbiter. I had a kompressa setup that was a very specific type of single target primer I thought was cool but I had used like twice yet I kept rolling it was my only option from my arsenal for some reason. Now I no longer have a kompressa and circuit is more fun. Oh well.

A 5 week (possibly more, new incarnon are coming) punishment because you couldn't play that week to get the thing you wanted sounds like the opposite of a system that keeps players coming back for more lmao

Couldn't agree more as I'm only really interested in the vasto incarnon adapter. I'm having fun with steel path circuit for now but I doubt I'll even be playing warframe regularly by the time vasto rotation shows up. I hope I remember to check in that week because if I don't I'll probably take a break until the next expansion rather than wait 5 additional weeks to be able to work towards the reward I want.

That's also assuming I can even be bothered to get the materials to use the icarnon. Duviri outside circuit is genuinely dreadful, the expansion plays like a lazy asset flip game on steam early access. The art assets are sublime so it's a damn shame whoever was responsible for the open world gameplay phoned it in like this.
