Neither did we learn how to control our Warframes without the Somatic Link until we completed The War Within Quest.

2017 felt like a pretty short year to me until October.
The last 3 months felt like 3 years.
Anyway, let's hope 2018 will be fantastic!

Didn't you guys see the Operator's impression when the Warframe was moving during that cutscene? If you take a closer look at them, you'll clearly see they weren't trying to make any effort in order to control the Warframe.

Well, I'm staying tuned until we find out about all the lore and the entire story of Warframe, which will definitely not be anytime soon...
In the meantime, I'm just trying to complete my Codex, reach max rank with the Ostrons, and of course, grinding for Mastery Points.
Also getting prepared for Ghoul Purge once it arrives to Console.

Nope. When I use my Rhino Prime, he still looks gold with Iron Skin, even though his energy color is white.

I agree with this too.
But by the way, the MR8 Test is super easy in my opinion. Probably the easiest I've ever done. You'll definitely pass it soon.

Actually, yeah, you're right. But I generally don't care about it myself. I'm happy as long as long as the Tenno still are what they used to be in the early days of the game: Badass independent Space Ninjas with awesome powers. That better not change.

With no doubt, Operators are sometimes useless in combat. And were even more frequently useless before the sledgehammer arrived for the Focus Rework. They're fun as hell though.
And I don't like the Operator at all...
But I love it.
I tried out this game for the first time around March 2015, and everything about the game was really vague, so I almost uninstalled it immediately. But it's changed a LOT since then.
In the beginning of 2016, when The Second Dream Update arrived, the game caught more of my interest. So I decided to reinstall it and give it a second chance. And I don't regret it at all.
I was still not entirely satisfied before I progressed enough to reach The Second Dream Quest. Still was confused quite a bit about the Story of the game.
But when I was at the end of the Quest... “WHAT?!
” Basically, I became one of those people who were blown away by the twist. I couldn't believe that DE thought of such a surprising way to reveal the Tenno. At that time, the entire story and much speculation of the game that was inside my head made me as excited as a little girl for the future of Warframe. This is what really started my love for the game, and my love for it currently hasn't stopped at all.
Lots of other people, who used to hate Operators, are starting to like them as well because of their improvement in the Plains Of Eidolon Update.
TL;DR: Yes, I like the Operator.

Sentient Beings? How Come Our Warframes Don't Move Themselves Besides That One Time In The Second Dream?

Well, DE has told us that we still don't know exactly what Warframes are. They have some Infested Technocyte inside them, but that's not a lot of information.
