  1. So,long story short,I saw my mate's mission initiation and all I could hear was a certain track from my favorite single-player game,Mass effect (2).So,needless to say,I placed it over my favorite multiplayer game,which I absolutely adore,and got this...

     

    (Yeah,far from my best work,but c'mon,I want to actually "play" ,not spend a day editing a video that won't be seen by anyone,expect you random interwebs forum-dwellers)

First of all,I must say I genuinely enjoy the update so far.Grendel's cooking so I can't really say much about it,but the missions were..well,naturally,people are divided.Getting used to the power you have can feel as if the missions make it irrelevant,albeit that's not necessarily the case-I'd rather view it as a challenge...enjoyable or not.

    As for my actual feedback,I'll start with the Parazor-I was so intrigued by it,I couldn't wait to get my hands on it...but wait,wasn't it supposed to help us revive teammates?Capture targets?Anyhow,a neat tool to have for the Mercy kills...which,in my humble opinion,need a bit of tweaking ...right now the lich "minions" are alright,when killed they enter that state and you can freely go and stab them gloriously...but the rest of the enemies we meet tend to enter that state for few seconds near death,and truth be told,they were dead the moment we got our sights on them-so why not tune down the chance and instead make it so that when a normal enemy dies it has a,say,flat 10% chance of instead entering that "mercy" state,expiring after 3 second..."Mercy"killing,right,saving them the agony?If we aren't fast enough or simply don't care,they will simply die regardless,not breaking any missions and so on.

    As for the liches,my first one,Ziggo,was just defeated,after breaking my back roughly 10ish times.I like it,that "power inversion " is slight,but it's there.However,I feel as if they need to be a tad more intrusive.No idea if they can attack you outside of their specific zones,but so far,I've met my lich only while going for his followers,which gives me almost a "forced encounter" feeling.I'm not feeling hunted,I'm feeling as if my annoying neighbour is asking me when will I finally go with him to the cinema-I can just say no and evade that content alltogether.
     Speaking liches,their territory is a neat idea,stealing resources and all...I'm feeling as if they need to be constantly stealing,even when an alert or normal mission is ran in their "sectors",and why are they taking so little-let ém have more,so that I feel better for stabbing them in the end.Let them hunt us around the system,albeit more rarely than their nodes,else it will get kinda old.Perhaps a chance that increases ,based on whether or not the lich has control over the node?

    The reworks-Sweet,though I'm simply not an ember/vuuboi player.

    The leverian-amazing,I'd love to see more....have ma' credits!

    The new melee-takes some adjusting ,but it's more streamlined and therefore,more casually fun .Again,here people will be divided,naturally.But let me ask a question...how many of you actually used the combos before...how many of you prefer the good ol maiming strike and max range whip combo?...Anyways,the lifted status and heavy attacks are a neat gimmick ,but,well,a gimmick none-the-less.I enjoy that,hell,on the grendel defense lifting enemies was my go to CC ,since we were running trin-frost-rhino-harrow ,and our rhino hardly stomped.I enjoy the changes,though they don't really have *such* a big impact...though,god,being able to see the holster animations again is a pleasant sight .

    The fixes are,naturally,always welcomed.This update is definitely a good step,in my eyes at least.Now for the next one 🙂 
     Respect,DE,for keeping and ever-improving this lovely gem...albeit in the rough from time to time.

  3. While not perfect,the pre-last patch secondary color option did one frame a huge favour-Excal and his variants ,Umbra and Goldie...

    The option allowed Excaliburs to have,say,blue-ish first color that's used for everything,including the element for exalted blade thanks to "Chromatic blade".The secondary option allowed us to choose the blade energy's color ,without changing the element,which in my humble opinion was amazing.

    Now,sadly,I can't really see how the secondary color even affects him in particular .I doubt I am alone in this,though I would understand if there are just a few happy fellows who care for this little touch...but please,can we have that option again,either via the sword "appearance " or through revert on the color options for excal in particular?

    I want to use light blue for everything,but I'd much rather have my sword emit that default golden-ish light,albeit a tad lighter...Anyhow,my two cents,thanks for reading and for everything!

  4. Try it out xD it's an old bug,figured filing a report,not the first,probably not the last.

    The "flip"animation will be played out by your thrown melee,while your pistol will simply slightly move upwards...euphona,marelok and the zylock are prime examples 😄

  5. It's a shame to hear that,I truly hope the team manages to somehow resolve this issue within reasonable time.Take your time,enjoy your holidays and then,well,then consider prioritizing this,at first glance,small issue.

    (Lots and lots of people love Mesa,have waited for her prime release and some,like me,even bought tennogen both because they wanted to support and because they loved the idea of primed,say,devil ranger or whatever...People are mad,it's understandable,but don't allow it to dishearten you,concentrate on taking a break for Christmas and then bother worrying about this simple-but-not-really issue with the model)

    Imagine,I,a lad that was always about grace and finesse; Vasto,Glaive (which appears to have better target tracking now,thanks!) and overall smaller-faster over big and bulky...The massive problem,in this case,talking,sentient-infused spider ,required a massive solution,in my case,a shiny,50 mm Imperator space cannon,which I considered my most "useless" Vandal.

    ...So,the spider eventually fell,filled with holes,juices spilling out of its armored shell...but I...I kept the ability to call my landing craft's orbital drop,much as most of you,fellow tenno....My impressions...icysmnx0lpsy.jpg?width=605&auto=webp&s=6

     

    "Extermination mission"....Oh yeah,that's literal this time around.The animations.The sounds.The....well,spending all of my ammo on a single enemy,long dead ...

    ...I love it. Mesa prime,my most desired prime dropped,and I...hell,I can't believe something like this is so amusing.Big,powerful (not overpowered,but I don't care,It's fun!)...

    ....10/10,Thanks...just...this update...my fav frame,golden,my glaive-better (or so it seems),my redeemer,finally golden too!...And....something I never even knew I wanted is here,and I just...

    DE are update their servers last month few times and seems that they are still slow like a snails and turtles!

    As of the time I'm writing this,I'm downloading with about 6mb,the "heal wave" of the servers moved past the Balkans...stand tall tenno :D 

  8. First,I'm going to apologize if this' already the case,so far I haven't noticed .
    Anyhow,I love how every day,familiar face,be it Darvo,Ordis,Simaris or...well,I've only gotten these,greets you while giving you your daily goodies to start your murderous adventures through the Orokin system...Thing is,why not add more,such as various bosses or,well,Clem to spice things up a little bit.
    For instance,add a small chance after day 50 for,I dunno,Vor to appear and say "Strength to the grineer!" or perhaps Tyl Regor with his "I'm very excited now,the anticipation...." for the sake of a small "taunt" ...That could already be the case,so I'd be glad if someone can confirm (or deny) you can be greeted by more than just Darvo,Ordis and Simaris...and I imagine Lotus.

As the title implies,before the update it seemed as if it was like a second faster,I used primed fury (which used to shorten the charge up time) but now it seems almost...well,as if I am not using anything?Is this a bug?Is it intended? Either way,nice work on the visuals and sounds,also,will we be getting  gunblade (and other one handed melee) dual wielding options with melee 3.0? 

  10. I actually like the idea.There was this "kingpin"system that was,supposedly,going to add agents too to act as informers or something like that but it's been ages since we heard any updates regarding it

  11. What happened to the premise of "dual-wield any secondary and one handed melee"? Rather blunt question,but the last devstream showcased the "quick melee-goes to full melee mode" change,and how you can use your pistol,use melee,then go back to pistol,without actually using both at the same time.While that'd work good with,say,War,Galatine and etc,I was hoping to dual-wield redeemer and vasto or something...Did it get scrapped,or is it just not ready yet,if someone has any solid leads?

     

    either way,it looks fine for now,and I'm excited

    ....On a sidenote,can our,spoiler,Umbra move around our Orbiter when we are in Operator mode?

As the title implies,I'm bringing these alerts in question because I liked them and found them a nice boost of credit income.For those unaware,there used to be such so called "Treasure ships" which acted as an normal alert with 50k credits serving as reward.My question,can we see them make a comeback from the ashes of,well,whenever they are for either or both the "elite" daily alerts or for the railjack update,as an actual,you know,ships we can encounter and defeat?Thoughts?

     

    ...It will be rather silly if they are still in-game and I haven't encountered any for more than a year

  13. You see,DE likes giving me sneak peeks at the future...first it was mesa's augment ,when I spent the whole mission with my regulator pistols,freely walking with no energy drain whatsoever (welp,can't find a picture,sadly,so enjoy suda hitler)

     Just now,while playing my sortie,DE gave me access to early melee 3.0 dual-wielding prototype,which I imagine was triggered by me getting knocked down just as I was turning off my exalted blade (keep in mind,vasto+ orvius is my secondary)

    Melee 3.0,dual wielding....so,the energy drain seemed bugged,none was consumed,and I still retained the ability to use my exalted blade,devastating waves after waves of enemies.

    Meanwhile,if I was reloading my exalted blade (XD) I could always use my sidearm

    While I understand this early build is meant to show more concept than anything,I'd hoped I'd get to see experimental gunblade+gun+blade mode instead.Eh,beggers can't be pickers...

    XD seriously though,I had quite few giggles with this,and so did my team.It's just a silly bug and a moa knocked me down,ruining it near the end of the mission....anyways,if this comes around the eyes of any DE staff,much love and kisses,we all appreciate your hard work!Also,please,add "charged shot" gimmick for the gunblades just as the one for the thrown weaponry ...pretty please?For a sweet coffee?

  14. Just my two cents,It's a nice skin for a nice frame,if it was nidus prime,I'd be just as happy as it is

    It's ability effects are sweet,the gold rings on your virulance and your larva's rotating golden ornament are dope.If there were some eyes,since they seem to be a thing for the syandana and the shoulders I'd be happier but hey,it's more than enough.However,the ghost hands,which,while cool,prevent me from using my chest armor attachments are kinda...lacking.I was hoping they'd be animated to move as you cast abilities or something...but,nah,that's just me trying to find something to "complain" about,the skin is dope,good job,kudos to the devs and the creator :D

Salutations,I'll keep this short and clean.I love the proto skin for thrown melee weapons,but as stupid as it is,its holster model annoys the hell out of me for one bug so small,most wouldn't even notice.You see,if equipped to an actual glaive,the holster works as intended,the 3 "fangs" of the proto skin fold into the base,and the whole model overall shrinks a lot.However,if equipped to,let's say,Orvius,though pretty much every thrown weapon which isn't sharing the actual model with the skin is in question,when holstered,the glaive will simply shrink in size,remaining unfolded.While this can occur without the skin,if say you interact with arsenal or enter a relay of sorts.However,equip the skin and that broken holster model is constantly there.While quick attack in missions will make the glaive fold as intended with the skin,throwing the weapon or switching to dual wield will break it again,also,this skin seems to lack unfolding animation when selected.

Now,with the dax skin restoring its former polished look,Orvius is a weapon I was keen on trying yet again.I'm a big fan of dual-wielding,of thrown weapons overall,and Orvius is *that* melee which I wish was better because it's just so fun to use,probably my favorite glaive fun wise,in fact.However,while using it as a melee,channeling,throwing works fine;making the enemy float,energy appearing out of its body,in dual wield,especially if you are a client with high latency,Orvius can go above a target,not restraining it at all,and if that's a butcher or another melee enemy,rushing towards you....yeah,thanks to the insane self damage (lovely,weapons that always seem to deal more damage to you) you'd be probably toasted.That issue's been around ever since we can actually use Orvius in dual-wield but I figured why not put it out there,perhaps someone will see?

     

    ...Dual-wielding orvius should be able to restrain enemies,just as its intended (after all,it works fine when you're the host)

    It could also borrow the effects from actual channeling,the little energy that seem to emit from the bond enemy.

    ...Could the self damage be toned down or turned off?(That's a bit of an long shot but hey,I'm just bored and writing this since I like the weapon)

  18. Needless to say,I completed the Sacrifice like,30 mins ago.With this first line,it's your final chance to turn around,complete it,then return,if you so desire.

     

    ...DE did it again,my God,they somehow managed to yet again raise the bar,make us feel even more epic,more stronger than ever,receiving answers....and hell-of-a-lot more questions.Perhaps I really need to speak to Ordis,cause seeing the screen fade to black after adventure,so awesome,is rather depressing.

    Umbra was worth the wait,the story with him and within him,even further.To think that Ballas betrayed the Orokin,what is more,that Lotus...s-she...did she just...betray US?She...foresaw it,all of it,did she not?I'm looking forward to the next quest,to repeating this one and to...well,everything!

     

    ...On a side note,the fact that umbra comes with his own mods,that he moves while in OP and acts as an actual guard,not just puppet with it's cords cut,is simply put...epic.It's something I wanted and even wrote posts about,I believe.What is more,his sword,and what I believe its its' gimmick,to turn invisible after finisher is lovely (Must check that one out,cause I haven't really used the sword all that lot).The operator cosmetics,hell,the armor bundle and everything as a whole is really well done,easily my most lightly done 500+ purchase for the entire kit (and that epic portrait).

    Every quest seems to have its moments,for me personally,this one had 3 major ones,the Ordis depression quote which made me giggle and even laugh,I genuinely stopped and laughed cause the voice acting is just superb (as always). The moment when we say that we are going in there ourselves,I found that badass,followed closely by the "My warframe is there" ("Hell yeah,it is!" I shouted) and of course,when the sentients approach us in Lua "Let 'em come!" ...

    ...That,excluding the ending part,which of course takes the cake...to think that...well,THAT happened!And Ballas,is he down for good?Weren't orokin immortal,though again,tenno could slay them,right?And Lotus,she...mother?Who is her moth~GAAA~so many questions!....well,at least now we know how the Warframes were made...and,uh,hands down,that moment when umbra stared right into our soul,pinning us against the orbiter wall,it really made me feel...intimidated? 

     

    ...DE,each work of yours is a letter of love,may this be a worthy reply!Thank you,thank you for this awesome experience!I cannot wait to see what follows.....

Salutations,before I start let me just put this here...I love,I loooove dual wielding;Throwing a charged glaive through line of nothing-suspecting victims simply never gets old,and considering the charged damage actually allows the thrown,or anyway,some,well,glaive prime to be used efficiently in high-level content,which needlessly is good,because if I can take something that works and something that works AND is truly fun to use,I'd gladly take the latter,pair it with my vasto (❤️) and get to business,slaughtering hundreds of 'neer troops...

     

    ...Anyhow,while thrown melee is awesome and fun,I've always loved the idea behind the gunblades.It slashes,it shoots,it looks stylish,it IS stylish...and the ground finishers,finishers overall are vicious,to say the least.Since Melee 3.0 is coming (probably even sooner than what most imagine),I'd like to ask this simple question,and I imagine I'm not the first one doing so;

    "Will the gunblades host some sort of "charged shot" gimmick,much like the thrown weaponry.Will we be able to shoot them mid-air,as we can throw our thrown melee mid-air (and my god,that's sweet enough with them,I can only imagine how sweet it would be to bullet jump and shoot mid-air,spinning,as your target incinerates to dust...cough).Also,how will stances work now,considering every weapon will be "plausible for dual wielding"?Also,could that simple,yet annoying bug with the exalted melee breaking the pistol holster be fixed down the line....
