  1. Instead of pointing people towards abusive 2% drop chance it's easier to just admit that DE dropped the ball with this.

If Nightwave is not going to be a reliable way to get Nitain going forward, put it elsewhere. Before NW we had guaranteed Nitain alerts every single day.

I don't need Nitain personally but it's not really difficult to understand that a lot of players may have used their wolf credits for other items in the shop rather than stockpiling a resource we had no way to know would be unobtainable for over a month (maybe even past Tennocon? why is DE keeping the start of season 2 a secret anyway?)

Not any time soon. It's not up to DE, and Sony and Microsoft aren't exactly open to the idea.

But, on the other hand, they are looking into cross-platform saves.

Dauntless managed to do cross play and they're not that big. DE may have some bad contracts but I think DE's chaotic development cycle is more of a limiting factor than Sony and Microsoft at this point.

However, for Warframe, cross saving on its own would already be a huge improvement.

  3. I disagree that it's a skin for Saryn. Deluxe skins are a great way to give Warframes an different look/style. I love the prime and deluxe for Trinity and i love that they feel and look very different and unique from one another. I think DE has hit a pretty good stride when it comes to making deluxe skins feel deluxe. I just wish they also found a good way to make the prime items feel truly prime given what they insist on charging for them.

I look forward to seeing this particular skin in the game. My Khora is ready.

Atlas Prime would be chronologically next. However, unless Itzal Prime, Corinth Prime, or Guandao Prime enter his Prime Access, I could see DE skipping him for a better selling Prime. Atlas desperately needs a new kit.

If Atlas needs help then what about Wukong who is next after? 🤣

This is a bad prime year for male frames. DE should just forget both of them and move on to Nezha and Inaros.

Guys if u think that ability to buy an item for real money isnt affecting the gameplay design in any way then u r horribly wrong. It has everything to do with it. Not so long ago there was a real talk about "paying for convenience" in single player oriented games. It was brought up how designer has to include gameplay mechanics that will incentivise a player to pay for some convenience. It is funny how on one hand people almost scream left and right about some tedious grinds in WF and on the other people talk about being able to buy stuff for plat. And almost no one makes the connection here.. 🙂

There's no doubt that the decision to put new frames behind insane grind or timewall (Hildryn) is to force plat sales. The game is slowly but gradually veering more and more in that direction.

  6. I've sunk some money into this game and I kinda understand this view. Although I wouldn't really call it P2W.

The way things have been for a while with DE putting buyable stuff like frames behind their new content to force engagement. It basically means that if I want to use my bought plat to get the new frames from the get go I'm shooting myself into the leg because I have no reason to play the new content.

I stopped buying the prime items (for rl $ or via trading) because I found myself not having anything to do. It's pretty much the only thing I do so I even don't radshare to make it last a little longer. Or play Eidolons for arcanes now and then instead of buying it. I could complete it with plat but the game has so little to offer if you skip all the grind.

I'm at a point where I get bored super easily and I think a part of it is the fact there's little reason for me to enjoy a lot of the content. Sp yes you can get almost everything with money (the P2W argument I guess) but it makes the game insanely boring and pointless if you don't play chunks of it as F2P.

Actually it doesn't matter, we do every challenge and that is the reason why we complain.

I decided that I would not torture myself so I have not done the challenges I can't bring myself to do. Then there's the challenges people couldn't do (like Orb Mother).

Even if it was 90%+ of all challenges being completed I'd be interested in the stats. Because that would also prove that DE can keep all these challenges pretty much unchanged because the majority is willing to suffer them if the reward is unique enough.

  8. I think the archwing deployment bug doesn't get fixed because such a low portion of the playerbase has actually unlocked the fight. It's such a terribly buggy fight because often when I start trying to deploy, with it not working and when it finally decides to work it deploys right when somebody else finished that stage and then I frequently find out I can't unequip the archgun and continue to be useless in the following phase.

I think the only reason I find it bearable is because often the fight is over so quickly.

My other dislike for the fight is that if you're not Chroma in a random squad, you're pretty much getting carried. At least with Eidolons I feel like I have options as of what role I want to go for (now only if matchmaking for that matched people depending on their preferred roles...)

  9. They've always been pretty blinding but after the remaster the Hydrolist just removes all vision for me. It rapidly changes from this murky grey color over to green flashes and I can't see anything at all during the fight. Everything just becomes a part of this grey-green disco show and I can't even tell if I'm standing on the green instakill carpet or not. It's hard to see the vomvalysts healing him or tell water from land.

Could you please try to fix it. I'm not sure I can keep doing tridolons when my eyes and head hurt after the last fight.

We don't need to make them viable. They need to be like Syandanas, use them if you want to, or don't.

Remove the freaking mastery points from that abomination. KDrives are the only non-combat stuff which award MR points, that's as stupid as putting MR points behind Syandanas and Accessories.

As long as they exist, I won't even bother anymore with MR grinding, as I know I'm locked out of 24k (?) unreachable Mastery points.

    My thoughts exactly.

MR and leveling Kdrives was a mistake. It instantly made something that you can choose to use for fun or style into a slog. "Oh I'm whipping out my Kdrive, gotta make some stupid moves to maybe sometime level it up". There's no way I'm going to spend time doing what it takes to max the syndicate or finish maxing them up.

What would have been better was to make races drop the mods. Kdrives should have been instantly maxed and you can run races if you want some mods. Not grinding or leveling. I think that pre-Fortuna DE got too caught up in the "Know what would be funny, lets make players GRIND when they get Kdrives. OMEGALUL"

  11. I like the suggestion of putting forma into your pets. Almost all of them require quite a bit of forma to utilize them well and with the upcoming changes they will become a lot more useful since stasis is planned to go out the window.

With weapons I personally just go for what I like to use or find fun. If you have any riven mods that's also one way to choose forma if it's for a weapon you have or are somewhat interested in. Since you can build a forma every day it's pretty low risk to spend them on weapons you end up replacing in the future. I've put a lot of forma into terrible weapons knowing it won't save them but it's one of the endgame activities.

  12. Archwings in open world feel terrible to control for anything except moving from A to B. That's number 1 reason I prefer Itzal over the other archwings.

Using them is like a mount, in most open world games the mounts don't really need to serve any other purpose but to make traveling faster.

The biggest quality of life change was the unlimited archwing charges because it made everything so simple when you're asking us to go 1000m to 2000m between bounty missions. Even the Thermia event you had to go almost from one end of the map to the other to get the canisters and then we were forced to go around looking for the fissures. Several times.

And my view is that you partly killed the fun of Kdrives with this terrible standing and grind. To me personally it has just left a bitter taste, I feel like because I will never get anywhere but I feel like if I bring it out I need to try to do some stupid repeated/random moves to get some random numbers on my screen to maybe someday find out I got enough to max my drive. It's not fun, and it's a lot slower than flying with less visibility (not to mention all the mountains).
Maybe if you give Kdrives a go fast mode some players would opt to do that. But as it is the grinding part of them are an absolute fun killer for me. It's like that pre-ESO focus grind that barely mattered to chase because you were never getting anywhere anyway so why bother? Yet you grabbed the orb if it was close and maybe one day it paid off a tiny bit. Yet it never feels rewarding.

Dunno about y'all, but spending 60 on things you can't farm, but having to also buy the things you can farm and spending 140 bucks just for an additional noggle is not a fair trade.

It's almost as if DE is doing it for the very people that buy the most expensive stuff...

  14. It's a tiny pat on the back to players for purchasing a really expensive pack with farmable items. There's pretty much no exclusivity for the money you spend.

I've always thought the prime glyphs are hideous so it would make sense to "buff" the pack with something that's at least cute and players can place them somewhere to enjoy.

DE hasn't as far as I know formally advertised them as parts of any packs or exclusive to anything so in theory they might end up selling them later on.

How about... instead of "which one is better" you go and get both od the normal variants and potato and forma both and learn how each one works, THEN spend your plat on a frame that you could easily just farm for free. Cos that's kinda how the game works?

It doesn't make sense at all now to tell people to get vanilla Equinox and waste potato and forma when her Prime can be easily farmed compared to vanilla. Even buying her prime parts has to end up cheaper than buying the vanilla frame from market.
