  1. its not too far from the mark.

god tier rivens are somtimes worth thousands of platinum and just one thousand platinum costs roughly 50 USD.

just two reasons why they are not exactly cheats is the fact that it is possible to get these rivens for free in game and that new players cant take advantage of these rivens until they progress and forma their weapons a few times.

but those are just two reasons overshadowed by the fact that they provide a ridiculous advantage and they can in fact be bought with real money.

not to mention the RNG for obtaining these rivens feels like they are only given to a selected few that have either the time or money. i hardly have either, so i guess i cant have these cheat mods.

  2. i honestly think that more bosses need a better variety of those avoidable high-damage attacks that make them temporarily invulnerable. i prefer this rather than CC spam or enemy spawning as a way to implement difficulty.

hardly any if none at all have their "moments." most players progress to a point where they can ignore most attacks and mechanics from bosses and simply power through.

what we have now?  1 player with saryn/mesa/equinox/unbalanced meta weapon kills rooms so the other 3 players have nothing to play with unless they are tryharding
We need nerfs more than ever

    "BuT WaRFrAME IS POwER FaNTAsY!!!"

in all seriousness, let's point out that the controversy of weather or not warframe even is a power fantasy is conveniently brought up when the handful of warframes classified as nukers or meta frames are discussed (like saryn/mesa/equinox/etc as you have mentioned).

the entire game is not a power fantasy. there are only a handfull of warframes that represent A power fantasy. i cant play with the least used endgame weaponry and warframes in the game and participate in the power fantasy. i'd be more convinced if EVERY WARFRAME could eliminate enemies just as efficiently and as effortlessly as the few classified as nukers. its not like we can ask for every warframe not classified as a nuker to be buffed because that would be power creep.

  4. not going to say that exterminate is fine as is because i'd be lying.

most will say no to a rework because exterminate is one of the few modes that can be rushed and everyone is thankful when exterminate shows up on nightmare, sorties, syndicate alerts, fissures, and kuva alerts. easy rewards, easy to complete, and perfect for warframe's "kill everything and win" mindset.

lets stop the charade and accept that these are the only reasons why exterminate wont receive any changes.

  5. it is convenient how as soon as archwing received buffs in railjack that only now we are seeing that most players dont want to play on the railjack.

chances are, a player already has a decent archwing after gaining access to railjack content. so why bother spending hundreds of hours farming for better side guns or risk encountering trash side guns that the host neglects to upgrade?

    i cant stress this enough:

players need the ability to carry their own railjack guns with them; so that when a player interacts with either the pilot seat or side guns, they would be using the railjack gun they prefer to use rather than the host's.

and, there needs to be limitations on how often a player can use their archwing at full power in railjack missions. the unlimited use of archwing defeats the original purpose of railjack as aco-op game mode, because deep down everyone wants to be the lone-gundum-strikersuitzero-insertmechafantasy-wolf. they cant take that away, so might as well give everyone a FAIR chance to play this role rather than one or two players forcing the role upon themselves and thus leaving at least two other players to care for the ship.

Good. Let's drop this charade then and let this be the wonderful power fantasy that it is instead of trying to "balance" it and take all the fun out in the process.

Fully agree, people should just accept the direction of the game instead of trying to turn it into dark souls 4, while basically pissing off the majority of players.

Warframe won't survive if the majority is gone.

    agreed.

the only reason i do not like the handful a warframes representing the power fantasy is because my own favorite warframes are unfortunately  not among those classified as such. warframe is not fun when i play as my favorite warframe Excalibur while paired with a warframe like Saryn or Mesa, but if i as Excalibur can eliminate enemies as quickly and as efficiently as any Mesa or Saryn, then i'd have literally no problems.

with that said, it is sad that only a handful of warframes represent the power fantasy. the concept of a power fantasy should be the player's ability to optimize their playstyles rather than choosing specific meta builds.

    2. When was it ever stated that Railjack was going to be an endgame? Did I miss something?

you've missed nothing. there are people who see every new content update as potential endgame content.

    now for my two cents:

    1. the challenge of warframe is getting to the point where you are now. things have not become easier. you've just progressed.

    2. the endgame is modifying your own personal playstyle to compete with meta builds, helping other players build clans, or creating a clan of your very own.

imagine all of resources every vet complaining about end game has stockpiled; most never thinking once that maybe they should be a little more generous to other clans or retire by creating their very own.

  8. i though the current archwing flight gameplay was fine even though i preferred all of its previous versions. to me all that needed a rework was its progression and rewards but due to loud minority feedback and pressure, the gameplay itself was consistently updated for years before they actually decided to plan the rework.

the loud minority expected flight gameplay that rivaled that of their favorite or preferred space flight simulator (in most cases, a game called Strike Suit Zero).

  9. i dont even think DE can maintain selling the whole space ninja theme anymore.

we are more like the FATE anime in space more than anything, in that we as young and talented individuals control beings based on legendary fables of varies cultures.

even the music went from temple prayers and tribal drums theme to more techno, vocal, and orchestral themes.

if that does not point out the developer's struggle to figure out the identity of the game they are developing, i dont know what will.

not that i am against any of this change, mind you.

i honestly just want them to "mature" and embrace this if it means the theme would be easier to identify.

most armor sets are affordable through trading prime parts alone.

other than that, buying a handful of cosmetics in warframe is as affordable as buying a few new shirts at local store IMO. you get what you pay for--no lootboxes or rng necessary. its one of the few arguably fair ways the game receives income. dont take that away.

if i personally wanted to change cosmetics for a revisit, i'd add position and scaling adjustments. THAT would change A LOT.

  11. reading a lot of comments stating that "there are already multiple ways to gain energy, power creep, etc"

is a trade-off not implied here?

like, you think DE is just going to add something like universal energy regen and change nothing else to compensate?

provided that other methods of obtaining energy are looked over, i think universal energy regen would make managing energy a lot less bothersome and tedious to manage, presenting more gameplay focus to other aspects.

  12. either underground mercury infested landscape or a martian dessert landscape. either one would be cool.

P.S. infested are on nodes within mercury for some reason, so i think it would make the most sense to take the infested open world there, thus remaining consistant with star chart progression and allowing new players to enter it early on.

  13. as far as i am concerned, the challenge is progressing to the point where you are now and the endgame is optimizing your personal playstyle to compete with meta builds.

so long as new content can potentially shift the meta or allow us to progress further, i'm satisfied.

  14. i just think that even when an enemy is banished, any amount of damage from the physical plain should bring them back. plain and simple.

the only way to use limbo properly in public is by copying frosts slowglobe role with ruduced range and taking advantage of limbos invulnerability while in his own plain. hardly any other ability should be used unless you want to risk being called a troll. that, or just dont play in public. either way, this exposes limbo as an extremely flawed and terribly designed warframe.

thus, my suggestion. i think other teammates should have control determining weather or not they even NEED enemies banished and CC'd by limbo.

if they need CC, then they simply wouldn't touch or damage banished enemies. if they dont need CC, then they are free to attack, forcing these enemies back to the physical plain in their original state.

it would be their choice and that alone is more fair then giving limbo, or in this case one player, ALL of the control.

my humble opinion - as someone with years of experience doing sorties, long arbi, and extremely long endless relic runs with friends, but is absurdly inept at eidolon hunting and hasn't even started with railjack - is that all we need is to do a wide scale rework on about half the warframes (most needing only tiny changes though) and hugging some weapon types that remain subpar.make the non-meta stuff more useful. Even out the playing field. Then also rework AI. We need better enemies.

I agree with this. It would be nice if players could optimize playstyles rather than optimizing toward a meta build.

There is still however the issue concerning weather or not we are aloud to progress with even more power long term with power creep becoming a growing concern. While it would be nice if all optimized playstyles were balanced, would these optimized playstyles still be the limit or would we be aloud to progress even farther when eventually encountering enemies of greater levels at the beginning of missions as the developers continue progressing the star chart? Even if we could become stronger would the foundations of the game need to be rebalance again in order to compensate?

Thus the reason why I think We need a system in place that leaves more room for long term progress in higher levels without being so overpowered in lower levels.

  16. so here is the elephant in the room.

since the introduction to railjack, it has become apparent that the star chart is progressing to a point where we are encountering level 100 bad guys at the beginning of missions. most playstyles are rendered pointless if it does not follow meta guidelines which potentially limits the quality of choice to an even greater extent.

however, due to the growing concern of power creep and lack of challenge we are apparently never aloud to progress in power or evolve ourselves. that can only be said if the developers continue to progress in the star chart and introduce enemies with even greater levels long-term, but this will still mean no more evolution or progression beyond meta limits.

i personally would like it if the developer were to create a system exclusively available in future high-level additions to the star chart where we can work toward scaling our own stats with enemy levels passively. a system that would give us more room to evolve and enhance gameplay through even more progress and without making us seem overpowered in lower levels.

player progress is at a stand still. any attempt to enhance the gameplay and giving players even more reasons to progress in the game results in balancing changes that takes weeks to perfect, making the increase in power seem pointless if the game is just going to balance itself around the peak of our potential in the end.

  17. for now i just kind of want warframe to be a pretty chill experience were i can go in, have fun stress free, maybe make a few dojo decorations, and comfortably leave until the next day or few days after. the challenge has always been getting to the point were you are now or finding more ways to optimize your personal playstyle to compete with meta builds. the endgame depends on what you do with the resources you've acquired along the way, such as building your very own dojo or contributing to another.

  18. affinity range restriction is a universal problem. somtimes in survival with lone wolfs and other times with speedrunners in more liniar missions.

however, this is how we combat afk affinity leeching.

kinda just wish affinity range were in the player's control.

it would be cool if players could pick which other players to extend their affinity reach too no matter the range. if one player suspects another to be afk, they would be able to unlink their affinity reach specifically to that player.

through the process of a mission, affinity reach would be limited as it is now by default at the start. players can decide during missions which players to link their own affinity with at infinite range, or, set it to infinite for all players by default initially. over time, if a player is suddenly afk during the mission, other players can un-link their infinite affinity reach with that specific afk player.

  19. i think the developers are getting enough income and the game has enough content for what it is. its just that the state of the game is making releasing new content more complicated, and even when they do make new content, its mostly to satisfy a loud veteran community in order to keep them from leaving.

here in warframe you've obviously played for a while and patiently waiting for the next content update. but in destiny 2, you are entering a new world and trying to absorb it as a new player, so of course the content is going to be overwelming.

not to mention, destiny 2's new player experience is extremely polished; at least even more so than warframe's.

  20. in general i'd like a system that allows players to work toward scaling with enemies depending on their level at the beginning of missions. we will eventually encounter more missions that start with levels beyond 100 and i cant help but to feel that the introduction of high level railjack missions has only now made scaling a concern. enemies scaling with triple digits felt optional before. now as the game's story progresses, we are getting missions that start with triple digits.

  21. i just wish every operator tree had a branch that casts a void dash upon entering operator mode, then at the very least the flow of combat wouldn't slow because i had to enter operator mode then void dash to remove their adaptive resistances. because that is basically my only problem with sentients right now, their adaptive skills kind of disrupts the flow of combat even if its just two three steps to remove them.

other than that, their adaptive skills makes them a new enemy that is actually unique.
