  1. I mean, it could be horrible. Complete RNG garbage. But, you could indeed have some fun with it. I've got a couple of points though.

    1: What equipment exists in the randomized pool? Every piece of equipment in the game? All your gear? All weapons you've maxed mastery with?

    2: This will obviously not work very well due to mods. The best version would probably be that whatever primary you get gets the mods your current primary has equipped, although this could get bugged with weapon-specific mods. Should just be able to turn them off though. That way you can have a status-based weapon with crit-oriented build, which could be interesting as well.

     

  2. So among all the complaints people have about the update, can't say I don't have any, I just wanted to see how many people wanted this. I really like the fact that we can face off against other Warframes with their own weapons and even using their abilities. While many might just one-hit them with a weapon that's decently modded, I've thought that it could be fun to just try and face the otherwise player-controlled characters.

    I don't really see why they aren't repeatable unless you'd want to punish someone for not scanning the enemy the first time, and I don't see why you'd want to do that either.

    I really like the area where you battle them as well, and if it or something similair could be made available in the future as part of the Orbiter that'd be cool. Also interesting why there's a Warframe there in the first place, and who or what is controlling them. Shouldn't they have been hunted by the Stalker or something if he's so intent on slaying us all?

    Hope they change it before Mag dissapears. Already spent platinum a couple of months ago to buy her since I didn't know much about vaults, like them opening. I'm missing the weapons though, but really don't feel like I'm going to get them with this confusion. Do I still run a specific mission type to get them? Lith was equivalent to T1 if I'm not mistaken, so a Lith Defense=T1 defense but with a 20 minute limiter or something? And does everyone need to spend a key, but you only pick one of the four items?

  4. So how does this wonderfully amazing new void system work? Cause I haven't understood it yet. I haven't done anything related to void yet, but change is often a bit annoying. And since I don't get it, it is annoying. I only hope I'll be content when I understand rather than dissapointed.

  5. I haven't read through this thread much at all, kinda tired from reading all Limbo stuff. But since he is kind of my main I wanted to share a simple idea, and this seem like a nice thread for it.

    So I had an idea that he would always be in the rift, and have some sort of passive rift bubble around him, comparable to how Nullifier bubbles stick to them. I don't know how big it would be, and there would still need to be a lot of changes, especially since if he had this bubble now and stood next to a console the mission would be uncompletable unless enemies kill him or a Loki tp:s him away.

    This way he couldn't stay invincible in the way people complain about, and allies can choose to stand near him. This could also be a huge negative since your frineds need to hug you to be affected by the passive.

    I don't have many ideas for spells and I've got a hard time concentrating right now, but maybe something that expanded the bubble as well as an attracting or repelling effect related to the bubble.

    Not sure where I leave a ticket, as I think the forums are quite confusing. I thought that was what I was doing here. Oh well.

    Also, I don't think it would be a syndicate since we already got attacked by the Red veil before this happened, as well as the amount of waves we already cleared like you said.

    We did not have a Banshee in this game. I think we had a Rhino, a Trinity, a Frost as well as me playing Mag.

  7. I think it's a nice idea, but I also think that people can choose what types of invasions they want to do since you can see what type of mission it's in. For example, Bob here likes to run around with his beam cannon thing and kill everything in an exterminate mission. In the current system Bob can stay away from defense which he doesn't enjoy all too much since Lucy always stands afk with her Ember ult on there. On another note, Lucy likes to watch videos while playing the game, and that becomes much easier to do when you don't have to move around, thus she stays on defense-type missions. Invations offer most of the different game modes and the same rewards (not as regularly maybe).

    If people just want to rush through the things four missions might be too much, but maybe it doesn't feel like a chore as much if there's more diversity in it. So it's a pretty good suggestion, but I doubt this version specifically will get put into the game.

  8. So right now I'm sitting in-game with three other people. We're in a Tower 3 defense at wave 26 and I think there's one enemy left. Shouldn't be a problem, right? Right? No.

    We can't find the enemy in question. According to my map it's stuck inside a wall. Not only this, but the enemy marker is constantly flashing between not existing, being on a level under me as well as a level over me. Another player in my group has stated that his enemy mark thing on the map is following him.

    Look on the minimap of the following pictures and imagine the enemy marker flashing really fast between those three.

    We have checked all spawn points and tried all kinds of AoE we've got access to. The only thing that has given us a hint of damaging it is doing a slam attack right about where I stand on the pictures. At that point we don't get any numbers, but the corsair turns red for a second, which means something in the way of damage as far as I know. Rhino's passive seem to work around the same place too.

    My teammates have found that hacking the wall to death makes blood appear. I don't know if this is relevant to the enemy or if it's just one of many minor bugs in the game. I can't seem to reach it with my Gram, but they can with Dragon Nikana and Orthos Prime. None of them use reach, so I'm not sure what's going on here. They're also saying that they're not seeing any damage numbers.

    We're now going to abort the mission after wasting a lot of time on this problem, it would be horrible to get into this situation again.

  9. So I just got the Hydroid warframe and went to Earth to test it out. After being surprised by him having a hellfire ability I at last got my third ability and tried it out. I thought it looked quite funny when enemies just combusted into some sort of porridge. My kubrow gave me the stealth effect (can't remember if it was before or after I used the puddle thing) and suddenly I could see the blue outline, the one kubrow stealth gives you, outline my Hydroid on top of the puddle. Only difference from me normally standing on the puddle was that this blue guy was really tiny. I'm pretty certain that it would not reach longer than the knees on the normal-sized warframe. I have not managed to reproduce the bug, although I haven't really tried too hard seeing as it was only minutes I experienced this.

  11. Haven't noticed that I've been getting replies since I'm not very good at navigating the forums. Thanks for all the answers confirming the range on Orthos Prime. I always forget that they are different classes, must've confused myself with Lesion being in the same class as Orthos Prime.

    On another note, why does my account information here to the left say that I'm an initiate? Do I link my forum account to my IG account in some way or something?

  12. So I'm a pretty new player, athough I've got a few months under my belt by now. I'm still pretty bad in the sense of modding and such things, but I'm enjoying the game.

    I've been hearing a lot of people favoring the Orthos Prime as a melee weapon and it looks pretty cool. But I recently got my Tipedo out of my foundry and when comparing the two via the wiki it seems like the Tipedo is better in a noticeable way. While it has 15 total damage less, can't remember distribution on either weapon, it still seems better to me due to the fact that it has 0,16 more attack speed, 10% more crit chance and 5% more status than the Orthos Prime. To me it seems very worthwile sacrificing a bit of damage for crit, status and attack speed.

    The only other thing I've been thinking about is the range on the weapons, which I can't seem to find in the wiki. Maybe I'm just blind and/or lazy, but would a bit of range really make it worth the stat loss?

    I guess I'm just going to have to craft another Tipedo if I want the Lesion as well, cause I'm not just going to throw it away if it's the best polearm or staff or whatever for crit in the game.

    I main Limbo, and all this sounds good to me. Only thing I'm doing in sorties is popping other back and forth between realms. That said, the best weapon I have is probably Redeemer.
