Just saying 1 thing, no i did not change my cam settings or something and yes, the cam was suddednly upside down and i was standing. in the railjack. with my normal gun equiped...not an archwing one even if it seems like it...

  3. Today i had to reinstall warframe so i downloaded it viva steam on my pc (i cleaned up my PC and reseted it compliedly aka wiped all).
    I opend it, which sure opens the launcher and so i agreed to everthing there till it wanted to install a program. without reading WHAT program it wanted me to install i pressed way to fast no, closed the window and it didnt install the program.

    So my question is, which program was it warframe wanted me to install with its launcher? can someone please tell me and maybe even link or tell me where i could get it so i can install it for myself just to be sure? thanks in advance

  5. I agree to say that this weapon might be the first one where i actually say i love its normal version more than the prime version.

    Right even so since both are pretty much identical from its stats (next to the obvious changes):

    As from the wiki you can go there too but, as i had already a talk with a friend on discord, here is how i see it:

    "okey here are some changes: Corith (normal)

    - fires a bit slower (by 0.25)

    - single reload (which is way better...)

    - only a 5 shot mag but more max ammo (132 vs 120)

    - does only need 1 ammo for alt fire (insteed of 4)

    - damage is EQUAL (normal fire) with its prime version

    - prime version is has only a higher status chance per pellet (6% vs 9%)

    - the alt fire is weaker (404 damage vs 2200)

    - alt fire explodes after some distance is traveld of its own

    - else it fizzles

    - alt fire has a lower status chance than its prime counter part (28% vs 50%)

     

    so basicly, only the alt fire has a damage change but needs also 4 ammo at ones.

    so it doesnt change anything if i use either the normal OR the prime version if you think about it. only the fact that you either like a #*!%ing reload time of 3 seconds or a quick single shell reload."

     

    No im srs to say that the damage output from the normal version and prime version are pretty much the same. Sure, it fires a bit faster but the normal version let you reload way faster and single shells (which was T-H-E UNIQUE ABOUT THE CORINTH!).

    And as for the alt fire, you have to explode it in the air ANYWAYS coz it also fizzles if you dont. so either they change that it explodes manualy AND explodes on contact with an enemy or wall. Else i can just go and use the standart version where the explosion might makes a bit less damage but also needs only 1 ammo insteed of 4 - so that the primes version should make more damage is here now of course sure a must by 4 ammo used vs just 1.

     

    So yea...i guess i will stay with the normal one for now...what a waste tbh.

    Ok. As good as the idea sure sounds (since both passives are kind just optional for those frames in some situations), as bad it kinda is what you get for using those. I mean a whole slot and 7 mod points for "just" 15% power strength for losing the whole passive? It gives other power strength mods which do way better if you really "need" just that little bit...

     

    Srs to say that that should be more. make it 25% at least and than i see sure its worth using but 15%?

    If yes then actually in most of my builds I either have Narrow Minded or Overextended, or both (prowl build takes a bunch of corrupted mods to achieve an efficient "vacuum cleaner"-like prowl that can be used at some choke point when your team is nekro-khoring and killing everything a bit further than you stand and pickpocket part of those still alive running by Ivara to their death on Nova's speed up).

    no i mean really polarities since there is not one got "D" mod ivara could really use at least if you dont break her with stuff you might dont need.

    This would be basicly my spy mission build which is more or less just to sneak around, use sleep arrows to kill enemys (if i need to) and over all crawling slowly but safety around.

    also below i show which polarity i mean, which was Vazarin ("D").

    As for my 2nd build:

    This uses more ability strength than duration since this is more an offensive build with her augment mod for the 4 (or her 1 which also works well for a bit support), making way more damage if i keep attacking with her 4 with her 3 active.

     

    both builds works pretty well and actually they both do its job. its just, again said, a bit dang that we are so daaaang slow with her 3 active....

    Ivara prime just kept all the regular Ivara's issues. She is very versatile but due to her skills' lack of range/duration/efficiency you need to build her quite extremely for each purpose to make ok for that role, disabling her at almost everything else:

    Prowl needs to be max duration+range to be ok and still maintain 100% power str after using Overextanded mod and efficiency 100-130 to have an acceptable energy drain. And Hydroid/Khora don't need to invest much in their Pilfering abilities either.

    Navigator negative duration scaling kills duration for everything else.

    And every other build cuts down her other utilities to the ground.

     

    Every frame, including Ivara needs to be  balanced with their skills so that even unaltered in ability stats all of their skills are usable without leaving you at 0 energy in seconds, having a crippled range/duration and having minuscule damage/buff at 100 power str.

    I kinda have to agree here since as much as i love ivara i mostly play her for spy missions and for spy missions nearly only. she is just way to quishy as to be a regular "damage dealing frame" and for sure not a tank from. She also kinda lacks "support" abilitys that you basicly can only play her -looking down at all her stats- based on her 3 else she will die quite alot. I mean i would have not a big problem with it IF you wouldnt be slow af wile your 3 is active. Yes, i can see that it should look like that you "sneak around with her" but, being honest here, look at loki, look at ash. both can do the exact same (even if timelimited abilitys) but still can run and jump around like they give a crap so the "sneaky" part pretty much falls flat with those, so why does ivara HAVE to has this slowdown? i duno.

     

    Another problem i have is that the Prime version had also an "D" polarisation. I never putted a "D" polarisations mod in her coz, you basicly said it, you need to play her on efficency and duration for the most part. You dont have any other slot or stuff left for her so why the primed version got a "D" polarisation is really odd for me (which i changed to an "=" one).

     

    As for the loot stuff, tbh, if i wanna really go for loot i play, as you said, nekros. I think that her "looting" thing is more like stealing something and, being fair, if im really going for loot they are really other, better and faster opinions than ivara...

     

    So yes, basicly you can play her only one good way or else she dies like a fly in a windstorm, which is kinda sad tbh. Its not like she lacks of damage but i think the biggest problem i just have is the slowdown her "Main ability", her 3, gives her. I mean i would still be ok with it IF we still could do at least all jumps and rolls and like without breaking the ability maybe or if the slowdown is "Not that HARD" but right now i can see why people tend to use loki for spy missions more insteed of ivara since doing one with her is nearly a 100% success but feels like a crawl to do so.

    as for the Aksomati i actually disagree but only with their stats since they actually got a pretty nice overall buff with the firerate is lightly faster, 10+ mag size, 10% more status chance and overall 2.0 more damage of the cost of about 2.9 accuraccy. the only thing is that it just doesnt fit or "Belong" into an pack with ivara, it doesnt only feels very odd playing Ivara with some Uzis in her hands, those are also not silenced weapons which, again, doesnt fit her playstyle.

  11. After i got myself now the middle pack from thenew ivara prime pack, here are already some of my opinions about it over all - keeping in mind i did not get the accessories whats so ever (since i didnt really care).

    Lets begin with the prime weapons which came with it:

    - Baza Prime:

    Im honest here to say, first i thought it would be a bad idea to give ivara an rifle but since its a (really) fast firing automatic rifle and already silenced, it works pretty ok with her. But looking at it stat-wise, why does this even exist? The Baza Prime is barely "better" than the normal Baza if you compare them, looking at this picture:

    The only thing which is "really" better is the range which is nearly doubled. Else, what do we get? 2% crit chance, 0.3 faster reload, 20+ mag size and 4% status chance. overall, a bit underwhelming. Sure, the baza prime is better than the normal one but most notable in range and maybe magsize...

     

    - Aksomati prime:

    Ok, i guess this is really the oddball in the prime pack and over all, somehow not really fitting into the gameplay from Ivara or the prime pac overall, think about that we already got an automatic silenced rifle with the pack so why another automatic twin pistol set now? Not only that, the "wind up time" this guns is really something i already didnt enjoy by the normal ones but lets look at the stats compared with the normal one as on the picture (here shown the stats from the PRIME compared with the NORMAL ONE since i dont own the normal ones anymore):

    Overall, a "ok" improvement tbh. The firerate is lightly faster, 10+ mag size, 10% more status chance and overall 2.0 more damage of the cost of about 2.9 accuraccy. Again overall a nice improvement but, like the baza prime, not really overwhelming. The only good thing i would say now, its nice you can now create a better status based build with this weapon since the boosted status chance from 8% to 18% is pretty nice - But as again said, for the set, i dont get it why its here. It really looks odd on ivara nor fits her playstyle but as a lone weapon, i would say its "ok", a better comparison if you look baza vs baza prime at least.

     

    And finally a look at Ivara prime...

    Stat-wise, she got 25 more energie, 50 more shield and 0.05 faster running speed. Overall "nice" but i would have actually wished for a bit more armor. Ivara was already quishy and she could have needed a small buff in the life- or amorstats. Sure, at least she got some shield which is really nice now but also 25 more energie is the best part since, if you know ivara~, its always nice to have some extra energie in the bag.

    STYLEWISE...we all know and we all have different opinions and i kinda still dont really "like" it. I tried to make it more dark looking since, its more fitting her but it still looks like a dress which....doesnt really suit her well but here again, everyone has a different opinion. if you like it and i dont, dont start a flamewar but respect it. Im sure im not the only one (looking down this thread~) and im also sure youre also not the only one but yea....you have to agree that the "jellyfish" theme is somewhat we never really would have think of incase of ivara, be honest here...

     

    Overall how would i rate the pack?

    Its really underwhelming tbh. Both Prime weapons doesnt seem to have a special "prime weapon" passive and in the case of the Basa Prime, its not really a notalbe "BIG" weapon change. The aksomatis feel odd and "unfitting" in the pack. They are not bad but not fitting overall. Ivara Primes buffed stats are "ok" but again not overwhelming... And about her design? Well im not really a big fan of it. After i colord it a bit (as you have seen on the pictures) i kinda think its now at the same level as the NORMAL default skin from her but for sure not really "better" if you have other prime frame designs in mind like Mesa, Limbo or Hydroid...

    secondly, flight simulator, fishing simulator, wanna-be minecraft, cooking early lunch for konzu simulator, tony hawk pro k-drive, "i had a PVP mode", hunter simulator, "i try but failed" open world creator and now star trek.

     

    I dont wanna be that guy but cant we kinda focus on the main part? Srsly, who the hell enjoyed archwing? the most people you ask say it was a fail to add. conclave? we dont talk about that. The problem i kinda get with Warframe is that DE tries to hard to add to much different stuff. Some kinda works "well" like the open worlds (IF they actually would be more intressting), some others dont (said here again, conclave as best sample).

    I sure know that the "space theme" is fitting but i want to run around and kill stuff or sneak around like an "space ninja"...not like a jedi on dope, tring to realise that his jetpack has a disfunction...

     

     

    No srsly, if you read the main part from this update (which is clearly the railjack space ship fight stuff), it feels like a total DIFFERENT game we are talking about...

    Does the "slash proc" gets any advantages if i also use a status duration mod or not? AKA, if i use a status duration mod, does the slash proc keeps on longer going? Im unsure since i think that a slash proc DOES count as "status"? I never really cared about but i just ask so to be sure...

    well you still can just throw it and hit an enemy, the combo number WILL go up AND resets the timer but the combo timer itself is still on pause so...i dont really think it should be that way?

  16. Ok i made a video about it which might explain it better what i mean - also sorry that it lags sometimes, that came from OBS, not from my game (i try to fix that since my pc is pretty new with OBS-recording stuff so please bare with me):

     

    So over all:

    - as soon as the throw animation plays, the combo timer pauses

    - if you hit something in the throw, it resets the timer but still counts as paused

    - the timer only counts down again after you catch the glaive or keep the glaive hold in your hands.

     

    I only tested it with the glaive prime but with that in mind, you can pretty much abuse this and dont need mods like "body count" in your glaive prime becourse if you keep it thrown, the timer will be on pause (look at the near end of the video where i walked around and keep the glave thrown without hitting something, it was sure longer than 5 seconds!)

     

    So i duno if that is actually "intended" this way but it feels a bit off? I mean again i only tested it with the glaive prime so far but the glaive prime is a pretty good weapon next to the "meta" gram prime if you mod it good...

  17. So fling over the most comments, some say hes ok as he is, others say he needs some "fine tuning".

    As i said already, the problem i just have with hydroid is that he feels kinda weak compared (this is important) to other frames which do a better job either faster or "just better".

     

    Sure i know that his set is mostly for CC but then we have other frames like Octavia (as sample) which does a way better job at this and way faster. As for "loot", again, Necros is there way better and as for Defending, do i have to count up Frost, Khora, Limbo and frames like? Even the new Ember and Vauban, which were normaly CC frames and kinda still are, do a better job way stronger and faster - Sayrn pretty much shaves down the armor from enemys over time really fast too without augment mods needed.

    I mean face it, hydroid needs at least a overhaul, not a total change but still, compared to other frames, hes pretty much not really often seen in missions - i duno the stats but over my playing time (which is now over 1700 hours), i barely saw hydroid players. Sure as prime came out you saw a lot but since good around easter this year, i barely saw someone who played hydroid for real, i dont know the stats but i really would like to know where hydroid really stands...

  18. I think form all "older" frames, hydroid should be next to actually get an overhaul/update like Ember and Vauban got.

    I tried now really a lot builds for him but nothing could be called "important" or "very useful" if other frames either do the job faster or just way better.

     

    Lets go with his abilitys here:

    1. Tempest Barrage

    His 1 is really really weak, you cant really aim it well, needs WAY to long to charge up and the aoe is way to small. Basicly, by now, it feels like a turned down version from Embers 4 which is not homming on targets and hard to aim plus needs good 5 seconds (i duno the full time to charge but it feels like it needs like 5 seconds) to full charge.

    Corroding Barrage, the augment for it, is just somewhat usefull but since, again, it just needs way to long to charge and is hard to aim, other frames do this way faster and better and have better crowdcontrol overall - as sample i would say here Saryn.

     

    2. Tidal Surge

    Here again i say, why should i use it? Looking at Revenant which has a similar ability, it makes %-damage which is way stronger than Hydroids.

    Tidal Impunity doesnt make it really better in the slightest only that your friends are no able to get a status proc at the first place - but for that you have to run over your friends with this said ability. So even if you do try to use this efficiency, you always have to comeback to "cuddle up" with hydroid...and again, why should i are care about it so much if i have other frames which either outheal the damage a status effect does anyways? - like Trinity, Oberon or Wasp. I would even say Harrow since he pretty much can give you immortality...

     

    3. Undertow

    His 3 might be the only ability which i would call "different" or "somewhat usefull" becourse not really a lot frames are there to compare. The only "close" one i could call out to compare is maybe Grendel. Still, problem here is again 3 things and one of them is only good: 1. you cant take damage wile youre 3 is active, which is nice but 2. you can barely move at all. 3. the damage output is again pretty weak compared to others like Grendel. So youre pretty much a sitting duck, waiting that enemys come to you, wile with Grendel, you are free to walk around anywhere and get the enemys faster before Hydroid is even able to. Curative Undertow in the other hand can be somewhat usefull if it would also heal yourself and not only your friends. So than again, other frames, like the ones i named before, are doing a way better job with this.

     

    4. Tentacle Swarm

    Here again i say, Hydroids main thing to use it, which was mostly becourse with his augment mod Pilfering Swarm, is just outdated if you compare it with Nekros Desecrate ability, which has a way longer range, doesnt need to charge up and works passive for him. Even if you try to use it for defence missions (or missions like), it gives again way better AND faster frames which do a way better job like Khora, Oberon or Octavia. Those again doesnt need to charge up ages that their abilitys are worth using.

     

     

    So after all what would i like to get changed?

    - First of all, change the "charge up" stuff. Hydroids 1 & 4 (and 3, Damagescale-wise) need way to long to get charged and are, even if charged, way to weak. If you would cut it at least in half (without using mods for it of course) as standart i sure would still say its fine but right now, Hydroid is simply outclassed by many other frames which do similar stuff way faster like now Vaubans 3 which you can aim WAY better, is WAY faster and makes WAY more damage.

    - Upscale his damage. Im srs here to say, Hydroid feels way to weak next to all other frames nowadays. Even if you pump him up with strength, his charge up times hinders him badly to play out his cards on the table and his badly to aim 1 doesnt help in the slightest.

    - Maybe even change some abilitys in total. 1 could get an overhaul that it works more like a real cannon ship barrage (which i think it should be originally). It should be easier to aim and not that long to charge but maybe has an interval time before the "cannons" actually fire - like you could place a big "X" near you, hydroid whistles to the "ship", and 2 seconds later at the placed "X", barrages of cannon fire waves will fall down every 1 second (this is just a sample).

    - Think about what Hydroid really "IS". Ok this sounds now a bit odd maybe in the first place but what i mean is that if you keep the most of hydroids augment mods in mind, it feels like all of them are add as "support role" for hydroid. I mean im sure you can play him as said support but for that, he doesnt play as one or is just outclassed by others which do way better. Again, Hydroids augments should get a change with its abilitys.

     

     

    So what do you think about Hydroid if you go and compare him with other frames? Do you think he needs a change? I still think he does. You barely see him played nowadays which is kinda sad tbh.
