[Chroma quest help!]

I finished the Chroma quest today but it didnt give me the systems to build him. All I have are the helment, chassis, and a Chroma Beacon. Do I need to build the Beacon to get it? 

[Difference between Prime Nekros and Normal Nekros?]

Other than shields, power, health, and the new look on the shadows, are there any buffs on his abilities? Is it worth making him since normal Nekros is already good?
